Chapter 2: The Journey
When Bastra opened the new spell book, he felt a deep connection to it. Leeron told him to look for the suit and how he can get it off. Bastra opened to page 690 of the book and found an entire chapter specifically for the suit. He found out that once the suit had bonded with someone, it would never get off. He also read that the suit was nigh- indestructible and only a force capable of destroying 10 suns could break it when it was with the previous owner. He then saw that due to the influence of the orbs, the stronger the host the more durable the suit would be.
Leeron: Well, if it gives me some protection and looks cool, guess I'm going to stick with it.
Horu: Hey Bastra, can you find out what our orbs do, like what type of boosts it gives us.
Bastra: I read it here that the stronger the host is the stronger the orb, so if we were to train hard enough we would be omnipotent.
Horu: Yeah but how long would you think that would take..... INFINITE YEARS!!!!!
Bastra: You are right though.
Leeron: So does that mean I'm unkillable right now?
Bastra: Technically yes.
Horu: Hey Bastra can you find out what boosts you received?
Bastra: Hmmm lemme see. Oh! here it is. On top of infinite potential, the one who fused with the green gem will later have the ability to fuse with this book, giving the user access to infinite spells.
Horu: Awesome! What about the white one?
Bastra: It says here that the white orb gives the user superhuman abilities, makes them a martial arts expert, the ability to manipulate lightning and if the user is worthy enough a weapon that only he can use.
Horu: Epic! So all I have to do is train, but how do we train, does it state anything about what to train or how to train?
Bastra: Sadly no. But at the very end of this book there is a bunch of characters I haven't really seen before. Wait, a translation spell, alright guys, let's see what the book has to say. PEREVESTI!!!
After unlocking the secret language, the book stated, "If you wish to find your master, look through the golden ring". The boys didn't understand it at first but Bastra deciphered the saying and remembered that there was a large golden telescope in the hands of the Great warrior Modisa, one of the Warriors that drove off the Raggins(But obviously this person was an imposter).
They ran to the center of the town and Horu tested his abilities for the first time. He jumped on top of the head of a 25 meter statue and looked through the telescope. And shockingly enough, the telescope was directly looking at a little hut right below a mountain far away from the town. Horu got down and told his brothers what he had found and Bastra knew that they had no other choice but to go to the hut in search for answers.
The following day, they packed some useful items and left the town, they said their final good-byes and promised the town that they would come back the strongest of warriors. It was a very dangerous journey that lasted 5 days, they hunted animals for sustenance and drank from water bodies when they had to. They also trained everyday to get adjusted to their new found powers. When they reached the base of the mountain, they were met with a huge tiger-bear hybrid which was a grade A level monster capable of destroying a mountain at full power.
The boys knew that they had to take it slow, and wondered if they could slither past it. But no, they couldn't, they thought they could sneak their way past a 12 ton tiger and bear hybrid that could sniff them out from 5 miles away and could hear the faintest of sounds. They knew they had no other choice but to fight against this behemoth. Leeron learnt how to equip his suit and Horu learnt how to create sharp claws by focusing his power in his fingers. Bastra stayed back and initiated the battle with a huge explosion, during the time that they used to get to where they were, Bastra learnt more and more spells that could help him in dangerous situations and he also got a hang of his power as well.
When the smoke cleared from the explosion, the monster wasn't even fazed. Horu and Leeron then went straight at the monster with all their power but to no avail. Bastra then came up with a plan. As the monster was focused on Horu and Leeron, he charged up an explosion in his hand. After that, he told Horu and Leeron to try and push the monster back. They did as Bastra said and used all their power to push the monster back. Bastra then used all his power to cook up an explosion spell that was guaranteed to give them the victory
Bastra: POLNAYA MOSHCHNOST VZRYVA!!!!!!
Then, a huge explosion came out of Bastra's hand and completely obliterated the monster. Before Bastra went unconscious he saw a message that said
"Congratulations, you have completed your first evolution, your base power will now be multiplied by 5"
Bastra: woah.....cool
And then he fainted. But after he fainted, the other two heard an old man's voice coming from the smoke that said, "So you're the little rascals that beat up my little pet and inherited the orbs huh! Well you're in for some pain"
