Chapter 38: Incoming Catastrophe (Part II)
Inside the Palace...
Emperor Chuanyin sat on the throne and beside him were three beautiful women.
"Husband, Why did you call for us" asked Queen hou dan.
"My wives, be at ease. I just want to have a little family talk" said Emperor Chuanyin with the purpose of minimizing their anxiety.
When they heard what he said, they sighed in relief.
Few hours later, The princes all gathered before Emperor Chuanyin except for Feng Zhen.
"What's taking that your son so long, or is he not coming" asked Queen Xia in annoyance.
After hearing what Queen Xia said, Queen hou dan didn't say anything, she only snorted.
"Hou dan, Just because your son is amazing doesn't mean he could ignore my husband" said Queen Chenglu in annoyance.
"Oh! Dear-Dear, So you know my son is amazing. Look who is taliking, A mother of a mediocre" said Qeen hou dan with a teasing smile.
"Hou dan! You!" exclaimed Queen Chenglu in angry.
"Why are you angry" said Queen hou dan with a confused expression.
"Enough!" shouted Emperor Chuanyin.
Noticing his angry expression, they all apologized.
"We are sorry"
"My! My!!" said Feng Zhen as he enter into the palace in a majestic manner.
The he walked towards Emperor Chuanyin.
"Brother" Prince Xun zhi.
Standing in front of Emperor Chuanyin , Feng Zhen cubbed his fist. While completely ignoring Feng Xun zhi.
"Greetings Father" said Feng Zhen.
"Father, It seems you need to control your wives, more" said Feng Zhen with a smile.
(Note: It is disrespectful for a woman who is married, to argue with her husband's other wife(co-wives), before the husband)
When Emperor Chuanyin heard what Feng Zhen said, he became angry. After a while, he calmed himself, because he indeed knew that what Feng Zhen said was true.
"Zhen'er, You dare speak to Father like that" said Prince Boxue.
"Hmm"
After making that sound, Feng Zhen turned and looked at who just spoke.
The moment Prince Boxue eyes meet Feng Zhen he staggered backwards.
"Zhen'er, How dare you bully your step-brother" shouted Queen Xia.
"Who is my step-brother" asked Feng Zhen with a teasing smile.
"You!" exclaimed Queen Xia as her aura started increasing. She knew Feng Zhen was implying that he couldn't have her son as his Step-brother.
"Feng Xia, I would advise you not to do anything irrational" said Feng Zhen.
When Queen Xia heard Feng Zhen called her by her name, she became even more angry.
"Judging from your cultivation, your not much strong than that guy" said Feng Zhen with a smile.
The moment she heard Feng Zhen mention that guy, she shivered and staggered backwards. She obviously knew that the guy Feng Zhen meant was Shen Yimin and of course she knew her cultivation, if not equal then it wasn't that much higher than Shen Yimin.
"Enough!" shouted Emperor Chuanyin in anger as he exploded his suffocating aura.
Feeling the aura, everyone inside the palace fell on their kneels except for Feng Zhen.
When Emperor Chuanyin notice Feng Zhen was still standing gallantly, he was beyond amazed. Immediately he refracted his aura.
After the pressure suffocating the surrounding was gone, everyone stood up while staring at Feng Zhen as though he was a monster, that includes his brother and his mother.
Actually, Why Feng Zhen wasn't that much affected by the aura was that the moment he noticed the Emperor's expression changed, he immediately used his {Unyeilding Will} and the {Grandmist Force Technique} to resist the pressure that was about to come. It's just like preparing your face to be slapped before you get slapped. You know, Being slapped unknowingly is more painful than being slapped knowingly.
Looking at Feng Zhen, Emperor Chuanyin angry expression changed.
"Alright, I will let today's matter slide. But if it repeats itself again than I would be merciful" said Emperor Chuanyin.
When they heard what Emperor Chuanyin said, they sighed in relief.
"I won't beat around the bush"
"The reason I called you all here"
"Is for the incoming catastrophe"
"Father, Why do you mean by incoming Catastrophe" asked Prince Xun zhi in confusion. Actually, he wasn't the only confused one, everyone was confused including Feng Zhen.
"Our ancestors has being just entered seclusion so they could attempt to break though the Saint realm" said Emperor Chuanyin.
"Husband, how does that have anything to do with the incoming Catastrophe" asked Queen hou dan.
"Hah!" exclaimed Emperor Chuanyin as he sighed.
"Actually, I don't know who went to distribute the news of our ancestors entering into seclusion. Since our ancestors is already in seclusion, to our enemies, this would be the best time and chance to attack our country" replied Emperor Chuanyin.
'Traitor within the palace' that was Feng Zhen's first thought when he heard the news
about the ancestors seclusion and how the news got out.
"But Father can't our ancestors just stop secluding themselves" asked Prince Xun zhi in confusion.
"That the issue little zhi zhi, Onces our ancestors are disturbed during their seclusion or they stopped their seclusion they would die" said Emperor Chuanyin as he sighed.
"What!!!!!"
Immediately they heard what Emperor Chuanyin said, they went into an uproar.
