Chapter 8: The first month of the School
The first month of our school is nearly over. Our high school life has been going pretty well. I and Ai both have acquired 35,000 extra points through getting first place in the various sports in PE. 5K in swimming, 5K in 100m race, 5K in long jump, 5K in high jump, 5K in shot-put, etc. etc. Seriously, PE teachers are the best! Offering us points on getting first place when testing us for the first time.
Our clubs also gave us 10K points each by me being the man of the match of the winner team amongst freshmen, while Ai dominated the tennis court without much effort.
So we acquired 45K points each just by sports. Sadly it is only one time. Our current points are:
Me- 109,240
Ai- 130,000
Sadly, no upperclassmen came to harass us. So we couldn't 'receive' points from them. Well, let's just wait and see for opportunities.

Hoshinomiya-sensei came to the class drunk, again. I honestly think she will be the reason we will loose most of our class points.
"Ichinose-chan~ please distribute the papers. No one will break the seal of the quiz before the bell rings! Or I will 'punish' them~"

I won't comment on sensei anymore. She is a lost cause.
Ichinose, the unfortunate girl who has become every teacher's pet, even though she doesn't mind it. Rather, she seems to like it.
Everyone has agreed to make her the class representative from girls side and Kanzaki from boys side. It was going to be forced on us, but we can't be bothered to lead the class. She is immensely popular, especially among girls for some reason. They would even glare at Kanzaki when he discusses with her about something in private.
The bell rang and I started the quiz. It included every subject that we are taught. It was really easy though, aside from the last three questions.
I easily solved every question correctly, aside from the last three questions. With some difficulty, I was able to solve one, with great difficult the other but couldn't answer the last. The last one was probably second or third year of college, while the other two were from the 3rd year of high school, and very difficult at that.
The bell rang again signifying the end of the exam. Now it was the lunch break.
"Man! I didn't study much. But the last three questions were ridiculous. How did your test go?"
"Shibata, it was ridiculously easy beside the last three questions. But I was able to solve two questions."
"Uggh! Do you really have to brag?"
Was I bragging?
"I was not bragging. I was just telling you honestly. You are the one who asked me."
Ai came over and clung to my arm.
"Haru~ let's go somewhere 'private'~"
"Sure."
Everyone just gave us a thumbs up, albeit some reluctantly. We have become pretty famous being lovely dovely all the time, and our class has also accepted it so no one disturbs us.
I took my bento personally made by Ai and we went to the park. It is mostly empty during the lunch time.
"How did your test go Haru?"
"The last question was out of my league. But I think I answered the rest correctly."
"Same."
We went to the park and noticed a senpai who we see very often.
"Hello Kiryuin-senpai!"
Ai went to talk to her and I just gave her a nod as a greeting. Even though I can converse with them without problem I don't like to talk very much with other girls.
But it appeared to me that Ai wanted to more than just simply talk with Kiryuin-senpai. But it will be rude of me to suddenly barge into their conversation. What if they are having girls' talk?

I have been socialising among the girls for about a month, which gave me less time to spend time with Haru. *Sigh*
Anyway, I have been able to confirm the general structure of society of the school. Third years are clearly divided by class. 3A doesn't have very good relations with the other three classes, as it is only natural. The CP gap must be pretty big between class A and the rest, and they must be constantly planning to take down 3A. Though some of the class C and D students seem to be under Nagumo's influence.
As for the second year, almost everyone except class 2A is under control of Nagumo of Class B. And he has been keeping tabs on us for a while. So I have reduced interacting with second years.
Many may think of Nagumo as impressive to take perfect control of so many students. But the fact is simply that the second and third year doesn't have much impressive people. In the third year, only President Horikita Manabu is worth anything. And in the second year, Fuka Kiryuin.
I have met Kiriyama, but he seems too bland and unimpressive. And Nagumo would be no match for Ryuen and Sakayanagi is they were in the same year.
Anyway, if I want to get something from a second year, the only choice will be Kiryuin-senpai. Because Kiriyama's class will come into Nagumo's control soon. But no one can control Kiryuin senpai.
"Hello Kiryuin-senpai!"
"Well, if it isn't the famous lovely dovely couple?"
"Ehe~"
I sat down beside her while rubbing my head sheepishly. Haru decided to leave us alone and went to other bench.
"Anyway senpai, I need a little help. We had a quiz but I couldn't solve one question. It seemed to be out of high school level."
"And you solved the rest?"
"Yeah. Can you help me senpai by giving me some pointers?"
"Fufu~ I am in a good mood right now, so I will help you. Show me the question."
I showed her the photo of the last question. She smiled, no, she is always smiling. She smirked and gave me some pointers. I think I will be able to do it now.
"Thanks for the help senpai! Umm, can I ask for another favour? Can you please give me your quiz and first midterm question papers? I will definitely repay you."
"Oh? And why would you need that? Both of you are smart enough to not need previous year papers. Tell me. If I find it interesting, I will give you a discount."
Well, let's just tell her truthfully.
"I have suspicions about the question paper. Out of the last three, two are questions which even 3rd years will find extremely difficult. And the last one is definitely college level. I think if I see the previous year question paper, I might figure out the hint the school is giving with the question paper.
And if I am asking for quiz already, I might as well ask the previous year question paper of midterm."
"Fufu~ Interesting. 20,000 points."
"B-but didn't you say that you will give me a discount!?"
"I have already given you a discount. My question papers will cost you 50,000 normally."
I think this is the reason why she doesn't have any friends.
What to do? What to do?
"How about I pay you 5K points and my handmade bento? I am confident in my cooking."
She thought for a moment before shrugging.
"Only if I find it delicious."
"Really? Yay! Haru! Come here with bentos!"
Haru came with our packed bentos. I gave mine to Kiryuin senpai and Haru stared at me questioningly.
"It's fine Haru. We can share the same bento~"
He just nodded with a smile.
I stared at Senpai anxiously if she will like my cooking.
"Mhm~ delicious. We have a deal. I will send you the papers as soon as the school ends. They are in my dorm room."
"Thank you Senpai! I will send the points then."
