Chapter 189: Showtime

It was already late in the evening when Lianne closed her laptop. She looked up, only to see that Kai was still engrossed in work.

It was true what they say.

A man focused on his work is a sight to behold. Lianne felt that her husband was really captivating at that moment and it was a small wonder how women flocked to him.

The concept of what is deemed 'handsome' changes over the years. Kai's features were one that would be ridiculed 10 years ago but now, it is the 'hot' look. Most likely due to those idols from Country J and Country K. 

It wasn't to say that the rugged' and 'masculine' men of yesteryear were no longer popular but the net was wider now. And Kai fit the bill of beautiful men to a T. If he was an idol, he'd be an A-lister without a doubt.

And he was hers.

Lianne giggled to herself.

Seeing that face before sleeping and waking up to it was like Heaven on Earth.
