Chapter 2: My Besties

After leaving home, I got on my school bus which was about to leave without me. I literally had to run to get into my bus.
Bus attendant gave me a cold stare, warning me not to be late again. I lowered my head and nodded.
My eyes lingered on every student sitting on the bus and got stuck on a seat near the window - where my best friend Mina Hayon was sitting comfortably. My legs instantly made their way towards her... who didn't even notice my presence and were completely immersed in some magazine book - of course staring at some hot male models.
She was straightforward, kinda crazy, and also very sexy... She likes to play with hot boys.
Not because she was some sort of playgirl - not at all.. she did these silly things only to tease my another bestie on whom she has a crush on..... Poor girl..... I really feel bad for her.
In all cases, she was confident and bold but in one case she was the timidest and "hiding behind the bush" type person I have ever seen.
Though we were totally opposite in character. Still, we were besties.
She was totally a different person when she was with us.
Staring at her and I was completely lost in my thoughts...
Waving her hand she dragged me back to reality and I got embarrassed...
"Hey Babe. Don't stare at me like this...
You seem to be becoming lesbians day by day" Mina asked me while winking at me.
My face crimsoned at her absurd comment.
She was too loud.. I could feel the whole bus was gazing at me as if I was some kind of monster.. and some were covering their mouth to hold back their amused laugh... I got flustered.
So, I was wrong - she did notice me.. But she acted to tease me..
I rolled my eyes at her smirking face.
"Aishh. For God sake Mina No.. And Speak slowly
"... I rapidly retorted her back, while making my way towards the seat beside her, and trying to avoid every eyes that were still staring at me.
" Trust me, It's not even a big deal whether you are lesbo or not," Mina said while winking at the boy sitting in the side seat - that was literally drooling over Mina.
She was still loud enough for everyone to hear.
I pinched her waist to silence her.
"Ouch"..(she screamed in pain while still giggling like a baby)
I wanted to give her one more pinch. But she raised her hand motioned me to stop.
"Don't pinch me with your dragon finger anymore. I am full-on silent now" She said while rubbing her sore waist.
"By the way, you look pretty," Mina said.
"Thanks "....I replied. I was still a little bit embarrassed.
"I am salivating over your beauty," Mina said
She smiled at me when she saw me still flustered because of her mischief.....
"Shut up dumbo" I retorted back while playfully punching her shoulder.
To avoid my discomfort I look back and saw my other brilliant, genius, and handsome best friend William Bak...
He was deeply immersed in his math notebooks.
He too didn't even notice me.
I narrowed my eyes at him. Was I invisible ??
"He is a boring na? But I must say he is quite sexy...Oh God, how could he get those abs? " Mina Asked me playfully
I laughed and said," he would kill you if he hears you."
"I already have heard both of you..". William said while keeping his eyes on his notebook.
We got dumbfounded by his sudden statement. At least I didn't expect that at all.
Mina's face flushed red. she rolled her dry throat and started apologizing.
By seeing her expression, William and I burst out laughing.
Mina got puzzled and stare at us foolishly for a moment. Her face flushed more red.
Then finally Mina also joined us and the three of us were laughing so loudly that the whole bus was staring at us.
Mina tried her best to show a cool expression. But no matter how hard she tries - I could see how she was struggling with her inner self, to maintain her posture in front of William.
She touched her burning red cheeks and look at me pitifully.
I glanced at her in aww, both of them are dumb.
One doesn't wanna understand and the other one doesn't wanna confess.
I forgot all my morning's bad experience.
O gosh!! I love my besties. They were the medicine to make my mind better.
They always made my day lovely.....
