Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Beginning
(There are many ways to describe love. Powerful, Passionate, Painful, or even Heartbreaking. In this story, my story, all five things will be depicted in my version of love and ....his version of it as well.)
Wow, senior year.This is some crazy stuff. I say crazy only because it's senior year. I really don't have high hopes for a change this year because everything's been the same for the past three years. Freshman year was the first year of high school for us so it was more of an adjustment than it was anything different. Sophomore year was kinda basic, although i did discover my new friend group. It's a funny story, the way we met. We met at prom. I wore a long black, strapless dress, with sequence and some black heels. There were a bunch of people in a dance circle. You know, the ones where girls twerk and grind on each other. And you cant forget about the guys who do a backflip and think its the coolest thing in the world. Anyway, when everyone got up to go see the miraculous backflip, i noticed three others in the corner of the gym that just so happened to remain uninterested as well. It was a girl and two guys.
The girl seemed sweet and gentle. She wore a short, blue, slim waist dress ,with some chunky silver heels. She had short, wavy brown hair and brown eyes. She was definitely shorter than the average size for a female. The guys however, were polar opposites. One was smart and kind hearted. He wore a nice, dark green suit, with a black bow tie and black Doc Martens to match. He had black, puffy, hair and dark, green eyes. The other one was fearless and intimidating. He wore a white, long-sleeved button up with some nice, black pants and black converse. His shirt was unbuttoned half way. He had a blond mullet and bright, red eyes. He was the first notice me sitting alone. Due to his intense staring, the girl had also noticed me. She started to approach me. I didn't know what to do so i just sat there, staring at the "legendary dance circle ", waiting for something to happen.
"Hey", she sits next to me. I turned to look at the girl.
"My friends and i couldn't help but notice you sitting all by yourself". "Well i was gonna dance but, I'm still in shock from the amazing backflip", i replied. We both laughed. " I'm Alice" she claimed. "Violet", i responded. "Well we're gonna get some food and head to the park, you wanna come?", she asked. "Your friends won't mind?" "Nah they're pretty chill, c'mon". When we got up, we walked outside. The boys were already out there standing next to a black, 2016 Camaro. "Who's ride", i asked. "Mine", the blondie with mullet replied. We lock eyes. " That's Lucas", Alice implied. She whispered, "He can be a bit much sometimes". He started to look me up and down. "The other one is Jesse". "Hi, it's nice to meet you", he said. "It's nice to meet you as well, im Violet", i replied. Still staring, Lucas says, "Is she riding with us or what"? "Yea I am, is there a problem?", I asked. "Not at all" he said and the rest is history. Now we're seniors and life is great, at least that's what I thought. Little did I know, I was in for one hell of a ride.
