Chapter 13: Chapter 13 what's to come
The day was sunny and hot, I got to the Cody's home and we worked hard on his form and in building his strength. I left feeling good about how much he has improved within just one week, but what made the day even better was knowing that he was coming along with us and I get to teach him even more. I told him where to meet at and what time to come, now all I had to do was wait till nightfall. I got some last-minute things that I knew we we're going to need. I didn't know how much food to get so I just bought a lot, but now there is a problem. It's too much, I can't make the horse carry all of that, it would kill them! I think we are going to need a wagon or something like that, it's just a lot. I had to leave most of it at the shop to pick it up later. I am going to have to talk to Adonis about this, but for now it's ok. I wandered around for some time just thinking, "Am going to meet elf's and train with them?" This is going to be really hard, I never met an elf, I wonder if there is something I need to know about them? If there is anything that I should not do? I really need to ask Felix about all of this, maybe he knows. I wander around for a little longer, just to clear my mind, but it's no use my mind is racing. I sigh and head back to the inn to talk with Adonis about the food matter and maybe to see if there is anything that I need to know about the elf's.
I am packing my bags up and looking around to see if there is anything that I want to take with. I look around my simple room from it's bare walls to its cold floors. I am going to miss this place, but most of all I am going to miss my parents and the sound of the black Smith every morning. I pushed my bag under the bed and then head out to the barn were I kept Honey. She was young, but a good horse. She always got me home.
"Hey girl you and I are going on a little trip tonight," I whispered to her. She blew air at me from her big nose. I laughed, "Okay, let's get your bags packed." I put her blanket in a bag and brushed her as well. Her brown eyes looked me over oh am I for getting something I pulled out a carrot and gave it to her you're do this fall she pawes at the floor and I smile your happy today I left the barn this isn't going to be easy.
Adonis this is something that we are going to need and the more people we find the harder it's going to be no I don't think this is a good idea it's going to slow us down it's going to be hard and it's just not going to work out I know but we really need all the supplies and I know that night and daylight can pull it well and we will have two others keeping watch at the right and left this is something that I know will help us and think about it we will not have to go to every town just to stay or buy more it will be one big purchase and that's it he walked away from me and started to Pace I... he started off but stopped .is this something that will help and make the trip easer for everyone he asked Felix I think this is something that will help and we are going to have more people as well so yes I think we should get one callista added I think that it will help but it might be wise to look at one before we go and buy it ....the room was quite she had a point we really didn't know what we were getting into this had been a hour that we all talked about getting a wagon I think that it would be wise but Adonis thinks that it would slow us down it's just as we go on we keep getting more and more people and I know that everyone who has the gift will not have the money or the power to get a horse ..... let them in so where are we going frist there is place that has the wagons belt I think that's were we should start there.Every one had fond me wateing for them out side let's go I walked the streets with a mission in my mind let's look then hopefully buy but I new better then that it was going to tack some talking to get him to change his mind it took some time to find this place but I found it with some helping directions and a few wrong tunes but we got there wow they looked well made from the way the wood was carved around the outside to even the wheels but I new better then to look at the first one I walked around it what is this the floor it had not been sanded down it was cover in splinters I can't put the house satols in there then back on his or her it would hurt and it could be worss not this one then I see that the weal it's cracked and will brack that's when I know it's not this one I moved on to the next one I looked the front to the back it was nice but I asked the pups to look under then I was shown that it had split almost in half what is this some kind of jock I moved on to the next one that one had just as many problems as the last one then I went to the one on the end I saw that there was a boy in it he looked to be 15 or 14 he was standing the inside and it looked like he had just finished come to think of it this was the first one that look well made I asked the boy if I could take a look yes go right ahead I just finished it and I was going to tell my father I felt the wood and it was smooth and had no sharp points the Wheels had no cracks in them and the body was just perfect Adonis look at this it really well made the boy smiles he was happy for all his hard work this is ....dam it Cressida you were right again the more I think about it the more it makes sense is this for sell I asked the boy yes but are you sure you don't want one of them they are just made buy someone with more experience then me and all I can do is mess up no I looked at all the others and you know what they were half assed this one was made with love and a lot of hard work thank you I need to find my father before I sell it to you he said he ran off really fast I when I got a good idea I recharged out and and asked for crimson and azua they came and stood just to my side so that the kid new that if he crossed a line that he would regret it he looked to me then to them of please he took one step and then crimson and asua showed there teeth he still came then I said if you get any closer they will bite he took a step azua snap at him he jumped back what the I told you they don't like you at all I turned away from him but he came at me anyways kid your stupid together they jumped at the kid and bit him they came back and this is the last time don't come near me ...or what your let your pets bite me what is with this kid I go to pull out my wepons but a Stern voice said that's enough boy how many times do I have to tell you don't mess with paying customers now get out of here he walked off I am sorry miss he is yong and dum but what can I help you with um.. it's alright about your sun but I hope that your not mad but my bond animals acked him he was getting to close and they didn't like that and it was really uncomfortable for me and them you see me and my friends here would like to buy this wagon here it's well made and has a lot work put into it how much would you want for it this thing right here yes this one but a kid made it so he made it well and the others are not all to good one of them isn't even done and a different one the Wheels are broken that lazy boy he is gonna get it he did nothing but crep people out and eat wile the other one works hard and puts out something like this he is a good boy and this is good work but how much do you want for it 50 coin that's a lot but its a fer price I pay the man but I come up with a idea hey suer would you mind if I gave out the punishment for him well it seem like everything I his father had told me that he was number one around here and I agreed to put him in his place well come at me I said your not going to pull you blads out don't worry about me come on the boy came at me and I steped out of the way is that it he came again this time I moved you stink your to slow he tried again and again but nothing ok this is old I take out one of my own come on by now there was a crowd there mostly boys of his age he tried again I kicked his feet out from under him and he fell to his butt I let him get up come on he was tied I could tell I looked to his father he nodded that's when I new to finish him off he hit my blad and I thought him off he hit the ground I held him at sword point I win now apologize his eyes were big and his face was empty with emotion it was the look of defeat it's ok I told him because now you know what it's like to be on the ground what was the think you said to all the kids you beet of that's right now your my stepping stone the kid got up and said I am sorry it's not just for me to every one you ever said that to he turned to the boys I am sorry I never new how it felt to be like that it's not good ...he walked over to his father I am sorry that I was not working and doing things the right way I was full of myself and became self-centered can you ever for give me yes but you will.have to work hard the man said thank you and I said your welcome back to him I also told him that I would be back with the horses to pull it away let's go you guys I walked back to the inn and got night and daylight I walked them there really I didn't know how far it was but I was tied so I pulled my self up with a little help from night and round the rest of the way there leading daylight behind me when I got there no one was there but I got off of night and walked around when I looked in the back of the wagons I saw the tack that I was going to need and a letter I opened it and it read

I don't know what to do no one was around and I wanted to say thank you to the boy but he was no where to be found so I just yelled out thanks I pulled the tack out and saw that it had little red roses painted on it I don't know what to do so I walked over to night and tould him what we were going to do it seemed he new what we were going to do I did the same think to day she seen to understand to I hooked night in to the right and daylight to the left then I had them back into the wagon it's ok it will not hurt you I hooked them up ok so far so good I jumped up into the seat and told night to go he did just that daylight fallowed as well I got back to the inn all in one piece this thing was big I put all of my thinks in it then the horses thinks that only took up half a wall I still had room for the food and more I went in side and told them to pack up they did just that
Adonis pack his bag and took it down callista did the same thing I saw that Felix had gotten new well everything from his clothes to to a haircut and even a bag that he put his thinks into when did you go and do this well the last day you were traning I took it off and got the thinks I needed smart go and pack it come on you two I looked at crimson and azau let's go they got a blanket from the bed and a bown pillow is that it yes they Said at the said time I carried it out no use in putting it away I folded just big enough so that they could lie down on it now to get the food Felix and callista come with me please she came to the front and I helped her up and were am I supposed to sit oh the back I said he gave me a dirty look and walked to the back ok I am in let's go ok you two let's go they started of I pulled the rans to the left and we went back to the place we're I bought the food oh I see that your back now yes I was off to the side of the street I had to tack to get here they haned me dried meet and and the potatoes one after the other from the man in the door to callista then to Felix then to me were I pulled them along the wall once we had them all in I saw that we still had room so much that me and callista could lie ok thank you I shut the little flap in the back after Felix got in and I had to climb once again into the tall wagon I helped callista up to ok let's go you two we made are way back to the inn with eazy it had gotten late and the sun had set I hoped down and let Felix out of the back it's nice back there the top makes it cool and the sun is not beeting down on you go and get Emerald ready fine he went off and did just that I let the horses tack a break from all the tack they had to wear to pull the wagon they stood there and didn't really do anything I jumped into the back and started to lie out the blanket for crimson and azau Adonis came around and asked if she wanted to put them in now yes he picked them up and put them in the back I told them to not eat the meat or any of the food without asking me first fine we will not they wined and one more thing don't jump out ok they said now all I had to do was wate for the kid and then we could go
I sat there in bed for the last time I had moved all of my thinks out side in the barn so that I could just leave when my father went to sleep and he had just went to bed but before he went to his room to sleep his father put something in front of his door and then went to bed I could here the snores come from his room. In no time I opened my door and saw a knife that was well made and smooth it had his initials on it his father made something for him and is was beautiful he went back to his room and wrote a note saying
I wishes to train more so I asked to travel with my teacher and she said yes i will be back once I have finished the training

I left it were I know he will find it I claimed out the window and into the yard I went in the back door of the barn hey girl you ready to go she was I put here satol on and grabbed my thinks from were they had been hidden I pulled my pack on and I walked her out and slowly down the street once we had made it to the streets I got on and I pick up the pace I got to the inn and I saw a cart with two really big horses wow they had to be twice the size of honey I looked around Cassy I called out yes it came from the back of the cart I got off of honey and walked over to her what are you doing keeping these two out of trouble I looked in and saw that there were two fox wow are they your bons animals yes and they like trouble introduce yourself you two I herd a voices say I am azua and a different one say I am crimson cool ok now there are three things you need to know about the people here and my self ok callista she can use magic so if your hurt or get hurt don't hide it second Adonis, this you cannot say to any one ok he is a shifter you know what that is right yes but I thought that they were dead no they are not that's it for now for now but the third thing what is it there you are Felix let's get going how you don't have them hooked up yet he was right I don't I need to get night and daylight hooked back up and then we can leave wate the last think what is it when we are out of the capital I will tell you fine what is it that she can't tell me when we are here I looked over oh this has to be fun as she claims out of the back and on to the rod that connects the horse to the wagon she gets everything on in a snap and even asked them to back up and they did it they are smart so don't offend them she hooked them up and she climbed up falled by callista I got on honey and who is this this is honey she is do in this spring oh cool oh your going to ride in the front were I can see you Felix your in the back ok Adonis you sweep the sides ok oh he winked at me ok let's go Adonis shifted into his form and went to the side of the wagon we made our way to the main gate when we got to the gate we are stopped by the knights is this all of your party he said with a sigh yes it is I replied he looked me over you look familiar no I haven't met you before no that's not it never mind just go we went on are way this can't be good i make night and daylight go faster I don't need the gards to recognize me we mad are way just out of vew of the main gate I sign in relief thank the God's that they didn't see the new wanted sine that had been put up of me although even if they did they wouldn't know it's me I hid my face really well but what could give it away was the clock I had on but it didn't ok we need to get as far into this trip as possible let's make it to the Forest then we can make camp
We end up making great time and end up in the middle of the forest I yelled out let's make camp here for the night I heard three very tired yes as we pulled we pulled off to a clearing and set up camp what is it that she couldn't tell me in town it's probably nothing I need to worry about for now I pulled off honeys satols and let her wonder I hope that father isn't going crazy hey I turned to see that Cassy was behind me look she said this is going to sound crazy but it will be easier to just show you she pulled her Hood on and pulled a mask up over her mouth just enough so that I could only see her eyes then it hits me your the girl in red he backed away that's crazy I took a step to towards him I know it's a lot to take in but I am the lady in red as they call me he just stead at me how did I not need see this I am traveling with a bunch of killers he pulled his wepon on me he was skerd I could see it he swong at me I stepped out of the way stop this I am not a killer then why did all those people why are they all dead he swong again his eyes strated to change this is not good he fell to the ground your the reason why I don't have a mother your the reason why my brother is gone he looked up and his eyes are now a solid blue I pulled my swords he came at me with a accuracy I didn't know he had I moved out of the way I never hurt anyone I don't know your brother or your mother liar he yelled he came at me and hit my sword hard stop this you don't need to do this I never hurt them I never did any of that I don't even know them lier don't let the sadness take over your stronger then this I swong back I toute you how to different your self and I told you before I even showed you how to hold a sword that I would never lie to you at this point I had him pined you need to clear you mind and not let this holed you back his arms fell to his side and he dropped his wepon I am so sorry I just lost it dam it I pulled him into a hug what are you doing you need to control your temper and your feelings and I think that I have just the think I looked behind me and Felix was right there ok show him I let him go and Felix pulled out the wepons there you now have a different destiny pick your wepon he look at me then to them but I just lots it I don't want any kind of wepon especially with what I just did this is not a choice if you don't take one then you will lose your mind you have a gift that can be amazing if you learn how to use it all you have to do is choose the one that calls to you he looked at the wepons in front of him fine he closed his eyes and sat in front of the wepons his hand went form one to the other to a ax to a short blad to the wand that had and then it stopped on the long blad it was heavy and thick but it shined in the moon light if that's his wepon then this is going to be one hell of a lot of training the kid was good but the extra weight of the sword is going to slow him down and to think that is exactly what happens
I feel an unexpected force pull me over to one of the wepons and then back to another it's was as if they were calling to me but it stopped when I had my hand over one I didn't know wich one it was but I picked it up it's heavy I open my eyes to see that I had picked the long blad it was nice but "am I going to be able to fight with this think " yes but it's going to take a long time before you can fight well with it I feel comfortable with this nere me why .It keeps you in balance and let's you control the other side of you I ...need some space for now please Felix and I backed off and let him be on his own I need to set up for the night and I am not sleeping on the hard ground.
I can feel the warmth run through me when I picked up the blade it was almost alive in my hand this is wired how was I going to get used to this and learn how to use it and will I have the time to do that...
He is struggling to understand this yes I know he is but he will get it in no time and I'm here as well to help and guide him we don't have much to worry about for now
