Synopsis
Decades ago, humanity stood on the brink of collapse under the weight of wars and dwindling resources. In this dark time, a portal to another world, Celestium, appeared in the sky. Touted as "God's Paradise," it promised new hope with its untold beauty and abundant resources.
Yet, this dream quickly became a nightmare. Instead of salvation, Celestium unleashed monstrous entities bent on destruction, pushing humanity to near extinction. In response, individuals known as the "Chosen" emerged, each wielding extraordinary powers to defend Earth. Among them was Kai, who was unwittingly chosen as the ruler of nightmares.

"At last, I find you, my lord," murmured a voice, woven from a tapestry of a thousand whispers. "What a privilege it is to finally serve the lord of nightmares, the sovereign of dread and fear," it taunted, each word laced with venomous scorn.
Struggling to maintain his composure, Kai retorted, "I am no lord of yours."
Unperturbed, the voice jeered further, "Ah, but isn't that our fate? To be intertwined in this delightful journey, whether you claim lordship or not... my insignificant lord?" Its sinister laughter then seeped through Kai's psyche, threatening to drown him in despair.

Alright, full disclosure: author here, shamelessly promoting my own work! I gotta say, I think this book has serious potential to be great. The main character (MC) isn't your typical power-hungry brawler. Forget picking fights with everyone and just getting stronger for the sake of it. This MC's journey takes work, patience, and some serious dedication. Also, ditch the harem trope for this one. It's all about building a cast of interesting characters you'll get to know over time. The focus might be on the MC at first, but trust me, the others will get their turn in the spotlight. That's it from me! But hey, if you have any questions, fire away in the comments. The synopsis has me hooked! The author is pretty generous in releasing chapters- added to colls. I like the world system and he's not just shown as a dumb ml. Look forward to reading more.
