Chapter 2: The Dark family secret

I stood there in shock as I heard the sickening sounds of cracking and breaking of bones I could see that Gabelli was in excruciating pain and screamed bloody murder before saying. "How fucking dare you crack my wrist you fucking bastard and you Crystal how can you let this happen especially letting a fucking bastard customer freaking touch me. You are so lucky I am not suing you Crystal and you fucking ugly ass bastard!"

I snap out of the shock when she said, "Suing me and A'kreath" A'kreath only stood there staring daggers at her, but also there was a cruel smile on his face. "One you touched me first, and two. Go ahead and sue me it will be funny considering the fact I will win you filthy Mutt." he said in a cold dark tone. Spazz looked to A'kreath before seemingly sniffing the air and letting out a sound that was reminiscent of a guttural growl. "Oi mate don't go starten a fight without me!"

Gabelli matched A'kreath smile is like they are trying to out match each other or something, and Gabelli said, "Fine, you want to play that game I will sue you and I can show you who runs this town and you have no proof that I touched you first asshole." I finally got the courage to speak up after the shock wore off, and I said, "Actually, Gabelli I have the proof that you touched him first and I can show it to my lawyers since I have my mother lawyer who had stood by her even after her death. I can send A'kreath lawyer the proof as well so they can have the evidence. I will sue you for sexual harassment against a customer who clearly didn't like being touched in such a matter."

A'kreath simply stared at Gabelli with what I could describe as a smug smile but there was something to his eyes as he watched her start to flee out the door, he turned to me and said in a calm cold tone. " Remember, my card has the number to reach me is there, do not hesitate to call me and be careful... There is something about that girl I do not like." he turned to Spazz and nodded to him towards the door. " Let us go Spazz we have something we need to look into, a little mutt problem." All Spazz did was seemingly growl and walk with him, he did look just a tad bit larger his head nearly hitting the top of the door to the cafe.

As they left, Niki came running inside and said, "I have a surprise for you when you get off work tonight." she was happy-go-lucky and I giggled at her excitement and said, "What kind of surprise do you have for me Niki?" Niki shook her head and said, "No, I am not telling you right now because it will ruin your excitement for me. Unless you can guess three times what I am about to tell you and I will give you one hint which is you don't have to worry about your step-sisters and step-brother and stepmother anymore."

I knew immediately what she was talking about, she wants me to move out of my families house. Which I wanted to move out so bad and never look back, but what about the promise I have sworn to my father until he gets back I will not leave the house. But he did say to me "If You ever feel uncomfortable you can leave when you ever you feel like it." I smiled at Niki and said, "Uhm let me guess, is it a place for me to stay so I am no longer living with my stepfamily members anymore Niki?"

Niki was jumping up and down while holding my hand and she said, "Yes, you guessed it right on the first try and I have the keys with me. We can move in tonight and the furniture is already taken care of, now we just need to get your stuff from your bedroom, and move in. Then we will be finished and we don't need to worry about anyone else but ourselves."

I do agreed with Niki, I don't have to worry about making Breakfast for the three of them anymore or worry about Hosea sneaking into my bedroom and touching stuff that doesn't belong to him. So, I said," I am down with moving in with you Niki." Niki smiled brightly and said, "You know what they say new choices in one life makes fate take hold of you and you keep on building on top of that choice you made."

Afterwhile, Niki left the shop to go to her apartment and finish up packing from her place before she headed to my fathers place to help me pack up. When the clock turned to 1:00am that is when I started asking, "Everyone to leave the shop once they are done it was getting closer to closing the doors and locking up for the night." I keep the shop open until 1:00am like mother did when she was still alive and she was teaching me and my brother Zax how to become true herbalist just like her as we got older.

I checked to see if everything was done and made sure the money is always somewhere safe that not even Ms. spend happy could find this money and go crazy, looking somewhere she was not allowed to touch. I locked up the front door of the shop, I turned around to see Niki pulling up in front of the store. I walked up to her car and opened the passengers side door, then I got in and said, "You are just right on time and we can get to my families place before they get home from their day and I am hoping no one is home so we can pack my stuff up in peace."

When we got to the house I saw a black Lamborghini and there stood the two gentleman who had come into the store earlier that day standing at the front door, the gentleman named Spazz tapped on the other mans shoulder since he was looking at the door rather intently. A'kreath turned around to see me and Niki he waited for me and her to come to the door before saying. " Hello miss Crystal, do you know if your mother is home? I need to ask her some questions." he said in a cold dark tone there seemed to be something up and he did not seem to be happy at all about it, even Spazz seemed on edge almost as if there was someone or something watching or maybe that was just my imagination.

I smiled at both of them and took out my keys for the house and said, "Hello A'kreath and Spazz, and I don't know if she is home or not but guessing by the cars not being here she is out to getting my father from the airport maybe or out partying somewhere. She usually doesn't get back until 4:00am in the morning if she did go to a party, what kind of questions are you going to ask her about?" I unlock the door and turn the lights on and said, " Please come inside the house."

A'kreath and Spazz entered the house and now it seemed as if Spazz was even more on edge as he said in almost a growl. "A'kreath." to which A'kreath only nodded before walking in front of me and made sure I was between him and Spazz with Niki beside me. " You can come out Lissa, or should I use your real name Venom Fang." He said in a vary calm and cold tone of voice it sent shivers down my spine as he stood there unmoving and Lissa came around the corner sneering. " Damn I thought I would have had the little bitch. Why are you here Kindred?" she said, my thoughts wondered what Venom Fang meant and what Kindred meant, Spazz quickly put his hand on my shoulder trying to pull me back more as A'kreath said again calmly. "Where is Robert?" it was simple and to the point with the way it sounded.

Lissa started to laugh like a crazy maniac and she said, "Why should I tell you Kindred? You have no right to be in this house, so if I was you i would leave here right now with your head still on your shoulders. Hosea! Come and show these two gentleman out of our house." Hosea came from the living room and he saw me and Niki behind A'kreath and Spazz. He said, "Aw mother does this mean I can have my way with both of the girls?" At this question I did not see A'kreath move but all I saw was Hosea go flying into the wall to which Lissa's eyes widen and she started to grit her teeth in anger at A'kreath, Spazz started to try and push me and Niki out of the house as I heard A'kreath. " Do you know who really paid for this house? Who even got this house in the first place? and I ask again and you better give me the answer I want Lissa. Where is Robert." he said as Hosea started to get back up and asked A'kreath in an angered tone. " What the fuck was that for?!" to which I could not see the look that he received but all I could tell he seemed to be frightened, and A'kreath said " You threaten to rape them again I will not hesitate to rip your head off of your shoulders and shove it down your mothers throat."

Lissa let out a loud growl towards A'kreath, she was ready to attack him but, I run in front of A'kreath and yelled saying, "Stop why are you guys attacking each other and what is a Kindred and Venom Fang?" Hosea and Lissa both laughed and Lissa said, "Kindred are blood suckers who are trying to take over the world and Venom Fang is people who protect human beings that swear to keep peace within the supernatural world Crystal. So, if I was you I would step a side and let us take care of this Kindred."

Spazz growled out. "Don't lie through your crooked teeth you harlot! your lot are black spiral dancers!" to which A'kreath snapped. "Spazz!" is all he said as if trying to keep him from saying more, A'kreath put a calm soft hand on my shoulder before saying softly but still calmly. "Crystal, your step mother is not what she says she is, your father has been here the entire time she has said he is off on a trip. please stand out of my way." he said before his gaze went back to Lissa.

I felt like I could trust A'kreath and Spazz, I didn't believe a word that my step mother was pulling god knowns from where. I took a deep breath and asked A'kreath are you sure that my father was here the whole time? Because I saw my father leave for a trip and he promised to come home safe and sound. I will not move until someone tells me what's going on in all honesty and the truth." Hosea looked at his step sister Crystal he had gotten up and walked towards us, and he said, "Crystal are you blinded or charmed by the pathic ass vampires looks, this is why mother gave approval I can have you." I fold my hand into a fist and looked at my step mother Lissa and said," Thats where I fucking don't trust you Lissa for you are willing to let your son touch me when we are family members since my father married you."

A'kreath's eyes snapped to Hosea and as soon as his eyes fell on Hosea his head was missing and A'kreath was holding it in his hand looking at my step mother. "Your family is not normal Crystal at least her side is not... They are what is known as black spiral dancers a group of Garue who have been corrupted by the Wyrm." he said so calmly but as well so cold it sent shivers down my spine. "Please go get your things Crystal."

I nodded towards A'kreath without any issues when I turned to around to face them I saw Gabelli running towards A'kreath and Spazz. She tried to tackle A'kreath but he just moved out of the way and threw her at her mother before tossing the head of Hosea into the air and catching it watching as the head had turned into a wolfish head. "Oh look at that a metis born, proves that you just fucked your brother or father to bear children after all. You are not pure of line." he said coldly and cruelly as he looked to Lissa who snarled at him. " Oh shut up and be a good bitch and tell me where Robert is now... or I could go down with my friend Spazz here and slaughter the hive you have here."

Lissa still snarled and growled at A'kreath and said, "I would never tell you where my husband is at, better yet I think you already know where he is at Kindred. Plus you would never hurt your friend Robert now would you." Niki ran upstairs towards me and she said, "C-come o-on Crystal lets go up stairs and pack up your stuff!" I followed her lead up the stairs when a random guy jumped up to the second floor window without a scratch and Niki started to scream.
