Chapter 20: I AM PRINCESS IEVNA

Princess Ievna froze at the door. She didn't even have a chance to open the door, but someone managed to see her figure and immediately questioned her.

Even without turning her body, the princess knew that it was Prince Reigen who was questioning her.

The red-haired princess had heard the prince's voice several times, and she could recognize the voice easily. The prince had a very distinct voice, and that was why it was such an easy task for the princess to recognize that voice.

Prince Reigen had seen her and even questioned her, so the prince must be awake by now.

Princess Ievna didn't know what to do, and she continued to stand at the door and didn't want to turn around. She suddenly appeared inside the prince's room, so the prince would probably think of her as a thief or something, right?

"Are you a maid? How dare you enter my chamber without my permission?"

She could hear the prince questioning her again, and for some reason, she could feel that the voice was getting closer to her. She could only bite her lip as her mind went blank.

She knew that the prince was walking towards her because she could hear footsteps.

"Are you mute? Why can't you answer my questions?"

Prince Reigen sounded very arrogant, and Princess Ievna wanted to slap the man if she wasn't in a difficult situation.

The prince was standing right behind her, and she couldn't move at all. She couldn't run and couldn't think of any other alternative now.

Princess Ievna knew what kind of person the prince was, so she wasn't surprised when she saw that expression.

"You're not a maid here, are you? I don't know all of the maids here, but I'm sure there aren't any maids who look like you."

Of course, no one would have assumed that someone as beautiful as her would become a maid in the palace. She did look pale now, but for some reason, her aura as someone of noble blood was still clearly visible.

Perhaps that was the reason why the prince could see that she was not his maid.

"I'm not a maid here," Princess Ievna finally found her voice to answer the prince's question.

"You are not a maid here, but you dare enter my chamber. Do you want to steal something from me? Who ordered you to do that? Is it the Crown Prince?"
