Synopsis
Night City 2077
Night City, the concrete jungle ruled by corporate self-interest and escapist hedonism. Gang warfare is rampant and violence is the lingua franca, and all it takes for a person to be dragged behind a corner and be ripped apart for spare parts by those less willing to merely scrape by in life is a single misstep.
Merely surviving in such a place is an achievement, and to thrive is nearly impossible.
Pretty bad, no?
Unfortunately for our protagonist, misery oh so adores company, and he is born into this world ravaged by genetic disorders and deformities, barely scraping by in his torturous existence through the stubborn efforts of his parents.
But not all hope is lost, for for all the darkness of the late 21st century, humanity trudges ever onwards and there may yet exist an escape from his cursed existence.
Will our unfortunate protagonist manage to survive long enough to actually live? Or will Night City claim yet another soul undeserving of its fate?

As you may have surmised this is going to be a fic set in the universe of Cyberpunk (and maybe something else if I feel like it later on, who knows?) where the main character is going to be a full cyborg (not instantly mind you but pretty quickly) with the progression being tied in with him making upgrades instead of the usual more natural path.
I've been on something of a cyberpunk binge recently and found the number and length of fics to be lacking so I thought I might as well toss my own two eddies at it.
As always there is no plan at all whatsoever and we are doing this live but I do not expect it to stretch itself anywhere near the length of the Sorcerer's Tale (at least not on its own) since the Cyberpunk universe is not all that extensive in what it offers, at least not when compared to Skyrim.
That being said I probably just jinxed myself into another million words of writing so imma shut up and just let you find out on your own :P
And of course, before I can get spammed by one bajillion questions and comments, I am not going to say a thing about the pairings.
Could be one, could be two? Point is you all seem to focus way too much on this and frankly I am going to keep it vague for the spite alone.

I was not very enthusiastic at first, not knowing much of the world of cyberpunk, then after 120+hours in my first playthrough of 2077, i as an avid fanfic reader of universes that fascinates me and patreon member of our dear lord and saviour, author of the exceptional and fabulous "sorcerer's tale", with the sexiest smoothest brain in the world, i call Rastislav, oh boi i can only say that i just can't have my fix fast enough of cyberpunk energy and I'm struggling, and when you get the taste of the good shit, no way you can be satisfied with lesser products, I only know of one that can be close to this fic, the rest is just some junk translation. Conclusion read this marvelous story and discover the weakness of the flesh and the strength and certainty of steel.
First Skyrim now Cyberpunk. You truly are just in my head huh. If your Skyrim fic is to go by, this one will be amazing. Looking forward to seeing what you can do with the World Of Cyberpunk.
You started a new fic, and a cyberpunk one at that. While I'm still 200 chapters behind on your skyrim one that I still haven't brought myself to catch up on because I've fallen so far behind.
Only downside to this fic so far is its rekindled my cyberpunk addiction, one of the few patreons on this site I genuinely can not recommend enough tho u would wait a bit because I've read through to fast and now I've no idea what to do with myself
I saw you had 9 reviews, and I just had to get the book on the rankings. I am really enjoying the story so far! I'm not terribly familiar with the lore of the Cyberpunk universe, but I have started getting into it more and enjoying stories like this. Hope you keep up the good work and keep the updates coming!

I haven't read it yet, but I looked at the chapter count on other sites. The average chapter is 3k words. 22 chapters, 83k words. Readable. Also, I have a prejudice that if a fanfic spacebattles is published, there's a high probability it'll be good.
"not a review" I was reading a Cyberpunk fanfic and saved it to my library. But the next time I opened Webnovel to read it again, it had disappeared, even from my history. It used to be in the top 3 or 4 in the stone rankings, but now I can’t seem to find it anywhere. The name was something like Cyberpunk Beginning or something similar, I kind of forgot.
well what can i say ... it so good, i would not be surprised if this novel gets bought by CD Projekt to make a sequel to the game or anime!
Goated work. The only thing I can compare this to is Arasaka Secret Son. It draws you it and captures your attention throughout the entire time. Now, all that's left is waiting for the next chapter
