Chapter 4: Exploring.
Once again waking up, my body sore from my restraints, I looked around. 'You've got to me kidding me! I've been locked up for days and nobody has come to check on me? What monster could've put me into this situation?'
(Meanwhile, a certain boy in a certain beach house kitchen)
"Amethyst! did you remember to check on the alien guy?"
"Dude... Garnet's gonna kill us! We still gotta bring him back!"
(Back to our main character...)
'It seems that I leveled up... I should check my stats.'

Noticing that I had some stat points to put in, I thought about what I'd need most. In the end, I decided to put half in strength, and half in my endurance.
After putting in my stat points, I felt my body changing and rejuvenating itself. As I looked at my arms and body, I noticed hints of muscle, and the outlines of a 4 pack. Just with this, I feel like I'm at least a 6/10 in the looks department, and strong enough to lift 80kg give or take.
After that, I decided to open my packs I had gotten, after all of my hard work, I was praying to get something useful. Giddy with a gamblers high, I decided to open my consumable pack first.
As the pack tore open, there were two grey cards, and one blue one, I sighed as I flipped the two grey cards.

Not even bothering with the pizza, my eyes widened as I got my one of my favorite characters drinks from the afterlife, I instantly read the description.

Thinking about David's fate, I was a little down, but as I looked back up at the card that was shining blue, I couldn't help but smile. as the card flipped, I whistled, I knew that this would be useful in the future.

This being a literal direct upgrade from the Maxdoc MK.1, I was happy as this increased my chances of survival in this unknown place. Almost instantly after processing my new consumables I disregarded all of these thoughts. my mind was only focused on a glowing purple card. A sweat bead rolled down my eyebrow as the card slowly flipped over.

Almost yelling in triumph, I instantly equipped my brand new Cyberware and read the description.

After reading the description of the Cyberware, I felt my body going through a metamorphosis. "AGH!" Loudly screaming out in pain, I knew I was going unimaginable changes, and this was a test of willpower.
Around fifteen minutes later, the pain subsided, and I looked at my body. Seeing a chiseled six pack and crazy muscle definition, I was in awe! After examining my body more, and wishing there was a nearby mirror, I checked my stats.

Whistling at my status and knowing I could easily beat my bullies in my past life with stats like these, I realized that I was still alone! Feeling stronger than ever I felt determined and disregarded all fear of my situation.
'This is boring, and I'm getting tired of waiting for somebody to come rescue me! I'm pretty strong anyways, and I look sick. Y'know what, fuck it! I'm getting out of here.'
After breaking out of my restraints with no difficulty, I began to wander a beautiful field of strawberries, and disregarded rusted weapons. As I slowly strolled down the fields in awe, I picked some strawberries and stored them in my inventory. Snacking on some of the strawberries, I mindlessly trekked on until I saw a beam of blue light coming down from the sky in the distance.
' A warp pad? Huh... could be the gems, or something else. I hope it isn't Jasper... Either way, they're my ticket outta here.'
After considering my options, I left and started my long walk towards the warp pad, unbeknownst to me, I'd meet up halfway with the unknown gems.
(Amethyst and Steven's POV)
"So, Amethyst, where do you think this guy is going to be at? Do you think he'll be where we left him? He looked pretty weak... maybe he will still be tied up?"
"Listen, dude, all I know is we need to find him before Garnet gets back from her mission, or we're gonna be in huge trouble. I already practically begged Pearl to let you along, so we've gotta find him quick before they think we're useless!"

Wiping sweat from my forehead as I continued to walk towards the general direction of the warp pad, I noticed a group of green ugly centipede like creatures eating strawberries. Upon closer inspection, I noticed there were five of them, and were secreting a green, acid like substance that would melt the ground on touch.
As they were blocking my path, I felt I had no choice but to fight them. This would be my first fight in both lives! Gulping in worry, I realized that I would never become any better than I was in my previous life if I don't resolve myself. As I slowly snuck up on the creatures, one looked towards me and let out a loud screech.
My heart pounding in adrenaline, I let my instincts take over as one jumped at me. I grabbed the ugly creature out of the air and ripped it apart as it let off a mini explosion and all that was left of it was a green cracked gem. Knowing there was no time to rest, I looked at the nearest one as it began to spit acid at me.
Blocking my face and body with my arms, acid splattered on them, not having any effect on my metal arms as I ran forward. Getting near it, it screeched as I grabbed it and snapped it in half, leaving nothing but a small gem behind.
Quickly running towards two of them that sticked together to try and fight me, I easily dispatched them with a flying punch to one, and an elbow to the gem of the other, instantly shattering it.
The last one tried to flee after seeing me shatter its friend to pieces. I would not let this slide though, I quickly caught up to it using my reinforced tendons as I drop kicked it, instantly reducing it into its gem form.
Catching my breath and storing the four gems left behind in my inventory, I once again began my long trek to the warp pad.
