Chapter 28: (4) Mitsuki Origins

Indeed, I'm a half breed, meaning I'm a half-demon and half-human. This is why when I enter the school, it doesn't signal Im a demon, because my human side is greater than my demon one.

I was born in Scotland, in a small cave. My father and my mother were both a happy family. My father was first a human, and they were a happy human couple with my mother, however, he told me that one day, a mirror appeared in front of him and changed him into a demon.

After that day, he threw the mirror into the cave where I was born.

My father managed to create a society with demon's where he managed to give them a minimum of knowledge about how to become respectable people.

I grew up with demons as my friends, and to be honest, it wasn't bad at all. It was just like talking to Jason or Tyler. Everything was going well, but there was something that was changing regarding father as the years passed.

At the age of 10, my father joined a demon cult called the Grand order.

"Wait, your father is one of the demons of the grand order!?" Moondust shouted.

"What is the grand order?" Jason asked.

"There is the rebellion, the core rebellion, and the demons, Of course, all of these rebellions have powerful leaders, but the demons, their leaders, the grand order, they are out of reach. From what we heard, only the most powerful ranger can fight them."

Indeed, and my father joined them which surprised my mother as well as all of the clan. All he would say was, "We need more protection, having powerful allies in the least we could do."

Slowly, the clan started to reject father, and when he realized that, he bestowed his wrath on the clan, exiling the ones who wouldn't want to join. The exiled became mercenaries, while the ones who joined father became his loyal guards.

That day, when my father attacked the village, my mother was badly wounded, but still managed to find a safe place for me. She died later on, but weirdly I didnt cry. I do feel sorrow, but I didn't cry.

My new family were a bunch of humans who didn't care about me. They accepted because my mother threatened to haunt them after her death, but I didn't care, all I knew was that I would leave as soon as I could.

I was bullied at school for my skin tone, but I didn't care, because I didn't mind what was weaker than I would say. No one found out I was a demon, they didn't have a clue.

It was not that hard for me to cope with the stress and the depression, after all, my father trained me to never show my pain to others. When I'm happy, I would show it voluntarily, but when I'm sad, I will never show my emotions to anyone.

At the age of 16, I heard about a test to attend school. The school was one of the best, and they don't accept money, but just talent. I knew I had talent, so I entered the test selection.

Now I'm here in this hospital with you talking about my life.

Now you also want to know about Cobra, well all I can say is that you must mind much about him. Cobra is not even in the top 10 of the strongest in our clan. Of course, it's unlikely that they come and avenger Cobra for his lost arms, but one thing's for sure, after having lost in such a humiliating way, he is surely dead at the moment.

The snake demon clan adopted a rule that their father made during the times he was getting crazy, "if you lose a fight and survive then consider yourself already dead, because, in this clan, no one loses a fight" he once told his guards.

Even though the father isn't the leader of the clan anymore, they still adopt this rule for some reason.

Cobra was always walking alongside the most powerful. For that reason, he was sometimes the centre of mockery amongst the strongest. Normally, in any other condition, he would've killed me for deserting the clan, but for some reason, the mission was more important than me...

This only means one thing, the person who gave him the mission counts Alexa as a high priority issue. It was surely also a way for Cobra to get to the next level. It was a way to prove the strong ones of the clan wrong, I'm sure of it.

"Hey Mitsuki, but I heard Cobra say Father still wants you alive..."

I still don't understand what he meant by that. Does he mean my father, or maybe the new leader of the clan? My father surely didn't say that, because he lost his humanity, he is now a savage.

In both cases, Cobra was not th biggest threat they could've sent. Choosing Cobra for such an important mission, I still dont understand why...

It's a mystery to me although I know my clan perfectly, I cannot tell you why they chose such a weak person for such a mission. Of course, he succeeded in his mission, but if he didn't, it would've been a whole other story, and he was that close to failing.

Now concerning the fact of finding Alexa, I know someone who might know about the mission. Cobra had a brother who despite being weak was loved by him and told him everything.

It might be quite risky, but if we think about it, sneaking in the snake demon clan's camp is the best solution we have if we want to find Alexa as fast as possible...
