Midnight in a cheap run down apartment room there is a young siting in front of a lit screen. The young man's name is Jack Thompson and he is what some would call a man of culture. Right now he is enjoying his yearly rewatch of the fate series. As he watched on his mind was filled with think of what he would have done in that situation. Then there is Saber who no matter which she vanishes. Jack peeked at the time only to find that he has five hours before he will need to leave for work. So Jack layed down and went to sleep. When he finally drifted off he found himself in a completely white room. From wall to wall there was absolutely nothing to be seen. With all of the web novels and fanfis he has an idea about were he is popped into his head. If his assumption is correct then in a moment some kind of god will appear.As if to prove him right a ball of light appeared in front of him.
God: Hello, Jack Thompson as you have already guessed I am a God that has summoned you here to make a deal. First let me say that you are not dead yet but if you choose to accept my deal then you will die. Second you can only be sent to the world of fate. Lastly I will only you abilities at the beginning level of whatever you choose. Of course that does not mean that you cannot slowly grow stronger through training also no systems.
Getting his answers Jack immediately sunk into a deep thought considering all of his choice. Since he is going to the world of Fate he felt would need something with a ton of potential. As he was thinking he remembered how a lot of fate would have been easier if they had certain. Then it hit him a story he had only read recently that had the perfect powers.
Jack: Alright I made my choice I want have Chen Xiang's from World Defying Dan God's power. More specifically I want his cultivation techniques and alchemy knowledge.
God: That is it you do not want all his powers.

Done talking a the ball of light then released a beam toward Jack which gave him all the knowledge he ask for plus the things he promised. After getting his wishes a light enveloped his body as he disappeared. Next thing he know he was in an orphanage ran by the mages Association. Apparently his parents used to work for the association until they were assassinated. Their deaths sadly left him without any family so he was brought under the association's wing. He also discovered not only that he is actually only four but also he is being taken care of by is actually king sadist himself Kotomene Kirei.
Seeing that it is him Jack could not help but feel sorry for the poor kids growing up with him. While Kirei never directly harmed them he would often arrange things so he could watch them do it to theirselfs. Jack's life went on like this until one he was brought to the director's office. In there he saw a dathomir looking man wearing a red suit.
Tokiomi Tohsaka: Father is this the boy you talked about earlier.
Orphanage Head: Yes he is the son Mr Thompson and Mrs.Chen and he has already been shown to be a cultivator.
When the Tohsaka head heard what the director said he sized Jack up. Tokiomi has heard that in China there exists a unique form of mage craft that learns to control nature laws. As a result the users are said to live for a long time ,but the only problem is that it requires great comprehensive abilities. So the practitioners are few and far between. In all honesty although cultivation offers unimaginable power it is from easier to just use normal magecraft. That like in everything there will sometimes be geniuses who can easily walk that path. Jack is one such genius.
The Tohsaka Patriarch has been searching for a cultivation practitioner to serve as a research subject. His family's specific form of magecaft uses gems as a catalyst for spells. He believes that if he were to get knowledge about cultivation perhaps they could enhance their craft. After a great deal of research he found out that an Association orphanage had what he needed. Meeting the kid Tokiomi realized his goal is close to hand.

Getting his answers Tokiomi stood from his seat and started walk toward Jack with a determined look in his eyes.
Tokiomi: Young man my name is Tokiomi Tohsaka and I am here to hire you as my daughters' bodyguard. Of course I also wish to see if your cultivation methods can help in improving the Tohsaka style magecaft.
Jack was of course not shocked by Tokiomi words because he knew that he is fairly straight forward about his thoughts. In the anime Rin Tohsaka prided herself in always facing her opponents fairly.
