Chapter 5: Mysterious Being 2
"(What is this?! How does it know my name?!)"
Kurt seeing a transparent window floats in front of him. He tries to wipe it from his view but it won't fade away. He's also close and opens his eyes, hoping that the window will gone. It doesn't.
「Avalon Blessing Obtained」
"(What does it suppose to mean? Who is Avalon or what is it?!)"
*"Listen carefully, Human. I will say this once.. I am the messenger of Hades, you may call me Deus. Now Hades has choose you. Thus, it made you One of The Chosen. Soon I will opens the Mythologies Gate on behalf of Hades, Freyja and Sieffre. They already made a path for you. Choose wisely, Human. It will brings you triumph or defeat in the future.. Now I will take my leave, see you another time, Human."*
"W-wait! I got a lot of qu-.."
*whoos*
A blows of the wind ends the mysterious voice and Kurt's word. All the torch were dead. The passages symbols started to glows. The symbols is a scythe, a crown, a shield and a wings. Kurt confused, he doesn't know anything about it.
"(Damn, he said to choose wisely. Yet he didn't gave me a single clue about the choices. Guess I'll take the scythe, because it looks pretty cool.)"
Kurt decides to walk into the scythe-symbol passage. After a long walk, he finds a blinding light in the end of the passage. He doesn't notice that the other symbols flies to the scythe symbol except the shield one.
*whoos*
"Haaugh..!"
Kurt wakes up as if he running out of breath. He observe the surroundings. It became a ruin. He doesn't seem in the middle of an altar anymore. He's seeing the top of the giant door leading to the catacombs. He stands up, then climbs the debris.
"(What is that place earlier?)" Kurt still has a lot of question for the mysterious voice.
「Human Presence Detected」
"(Shit, who is it? I need to get out of here, fast.)"
After Kurt jumped down from the giant door ruin, he goes through the hole that the horned giant made. A minutes passed, Ryu and Manato shows up at the catacombs entrance.
"What in the world is happening in here?" Manato dropped his guard down because of the views in front of him.
"W-wow.. What ruin is this? Is that big creature did this? Cool."
While Ryu is amazed by the ruin. She walks around, touched every piles of the debris. Manato's tailing her.
"We need to search the ruin for a casualties, Ryu. Do you mind?"
"Huh, fine.. [Clairvoyance]."
Ryu activates her skill to scan the surroundings. Her skill can detect anything including sensing a sign of life. She can sense it even the creature is already dead, but not for a long time. After she ends her skill, she shakes her head. No sign of life in the ruin. Then she saw a big hole in the wall.
"Uh, Manato. You see this?" Ryu stopped her movement.
"I'm coming.. Whoa, what a hole. Want to check it out, do you?"
"W-wait up."
Manato knows Ryu very well that he can tell what Ryu's gonna do next. So he's taking the lead inside the giant hole.

"(Phew.. Where were we now, huh?)"
Kurt finally found the end of the giant hole. It's a big shiny cave. Kurt noticed that the walls are full of ores. Even some of the stones in the ground contains an ore. Kurt picks up some stones. He wants to take some of the ores but he doesn't think that his waistbag and pouch is gonna be enough.
「Want to keep this item [Unidentified Ore]?」
「Yes」 「No」
"(Whoa, what does this mean? Oh yeah, I can't get rid of this thing earlier.)"
Kurt surprised again by the transparent window suddenly floats up in front of his eyes. Then he tries to swish it off but it won't disappear.

Far below the ground, there's a man sitting on a throne-like chair inside a dark room.
*(Would you look at that, Hades. He looks like a total fool. Let me give him something that helps him.)*
*(Hahaha, do as you please. But remember, don't harm him, Morpheus.)*
*swoosh*
Hades, who is the one sitting on the throne. Playing a pair of dice in his palm. The other one, called Morpheus is the one who appears behind Hades. He looks like sends something flies out from the dark room.

「New Memory Sequence Acquired」
"A-argh..!! My he-head hurts so much! W-what's happening..?"
Kurt's vision blurred. He became unbalanced, he sways left and right like a drunker. Finally he hit the ores wall, then he sits on the ground. Kurt still holding his head, he feels like a lot of information is getting inside his head. Not too long after, he can't hold it any longer then he fainted.
Kurt wakes up not in a cave anymore. He looked in any directions, it's a massive grass field with many swords pierced the ground. Then he realized there is a man on the higher ground of the field. Suddenly, an army shows up, surrounding the man. When the army close their gap between them, the scene is gone. It became a black empty space.
Kurt's floating in that black space. When he tries to move, a transparent window appears in front of him. The window is showing a scenery, at first it is showing a regular house with [Pavelis's House] written on the gate. The scenery changes, it's like going inside of a person views. The scenery shows a guy woke up from his bed, going to a thing that Kurt doesn't know. It's reflecting vision like a calm water. Suddenly Kurt knows what it is, it's a mirror. The guy in the mirror looks like exactly like him but his iris is green and he wears a glasses. Kurt also doesn't know there are glasses like that. It look likes from a future where the technology is so modern.
Another window shows up. Showing the glasses Kurt's daily life. His living with his parents and a little sister. His family also called him Kurt. It makes the real Kurt numb. His house is also looked modern. There are refrigerator, television, microwave, and phones. Kurt never saw it in his entire life but he recognizes them.
"Is this his memory?" Kurt mumbling while he watches the scenery.
Multiple windows shows up. This time showing the glasses Kurt in a hospital. He and his family is checking up his sickness. The diagnosis shows that he's got a cance in his brain. It's already at the stage three. Then the scenery skips to his daily life again. His life changes. He's getting more love from his family but he knows he's going to die.
Other window showing the glasses Kurt with his little sister in the house's balcony.
"Riumi, I promise I'll be with you no matter what happens."
"B-but you are g-going to die, Brother! Huaa.." His little sister named Riumi starts crying.
"Uh, I know.. But, here look, I made you something." The glasses Kurt pulls out something from his pocket.
"W-what?" Riumi calmed down a little.
"I made it for you. I learn it from my club. Cool isn't?"
"It's your fa-favorite bird. Cool.."
"Right! Keep it with you, it'll protects you someday."
Riumi hugs her brother tight. The glasses Kurt shedding tears, then he gives Riumi a wooden crow sculpture. He says he learned it from his school club. Soon, Kurt realized that he and the other him with glasses has a strong similarities. The loneliness of being away from his family, except he still has a little brother but the other him had to died from cancer.
