Chapter 8: Chapter 8
After returning to the surface, he headed straight towards the guild. He hid the valis he stole on him and entered the guild hall. He lined up to exchange his stones and waited. After waiting for like 30 minutes, it was his turn. He handed over the stones while the employee looked at him with suspicion. "Did you steal these from another adventurer". The employee knew that there were a lot of stones for a one man party and couldn't keep his mouth shut.
"I collected these on my own. it's not that hard when you learn the movements of the monsters" Akino said.
The employee was still suspicious but he didn't have any ground to prove him wrong so he just calculated the costs. "That will be 67890 valis including the drop items." Akino grabbed the money and left the guild hall after saying hi to Azumi.
He then decided to stop by some place to eat and found a restaurant called Creatures Gulley. It was an interesting name for sure. He decided to head in and try some of their food. He waited for his turn to be called and was escorted to a table with a menu. "If you need anything, just raise your hand and someone will come to you" the waitress said. He just nodded his head and looked over the menu.
After a few minutes, he raised his hand and a waiter spotted him and came over. "How can I help you Sir" he asked. Akino pointed to a number and said " I'll take the pasta marinara and a side of potatoes". The waiter wrote it down and said "And to drink". "Water". "Right away Sir" the waiter said.
Although Akino is 20 years old he is still a child. It doesn't help that he's shorter for his age. So even though he wants alcohol, he knows they wouldn't give it to him. "Old enough to kill, Old enough to drink" he muttered.
After 20 minutes, the food came and he thanked the waiter. He ate his meal quietly and soon was finished. He got up and left some valis for the meal on the table and left. Now that he is full, he decided to head home and sleep after reporting his day to his god.
After arriving home, he decided to update his status which looked like this.

Akino was excited about the increase. At this rate he might level up before a year has passed and break the record. Miach smiled at his familias member growth. He also saw what happened in the dungeon but didn't comment on it since conflicts like that were bound to happen and that Akino was defending himself.
A month has passed since then and nothing had changed much except for his stats. They had a major upgrade after fighting some frog shooters on the 6 floor when he let his guard down and had to fight for his life. His stats look like this.

He was also working on a new skill called concurrent chanting. He practiced it before but was only scratching the surface. Though after three weeks he finally managed it and now he has got a new skill.
He was happy with himself and decided to practice a new spell called Ice Wall. As you can guess it's a giant wall of ice that can be used to protect people and trapped monsters. He always wanted to wield ice but hasn't made much progress yet.
Anyways, he decided to head towards the guildtm to get some more information about killer ants since heti wants to push himself more to get stronger but wants to do it smartly. "Excuse me sir you dropped this".
He heard a female voice say behind him. He turned and saw a silver haired woman wearing an waitress outfit. At least that's what it looked liked to him. He looked at the supposed item he dropped and saw it was a monster stone. "I don't believe I did" he replied.
Though the girl was unrelenting and he decided to humor her and after "promising" to come back here for dinner tonight he left towards the guild to get his information.
