"Girlfriend? You never told me you were a committed male."

"Oh, I am. She is a gorgeous woman.  She is a real knockout redhead. Very smart, too, but a little grumpy. I fall more in love with her each passing day." He said as he looked into Alanna's blue eyes. She knew he was talking about her, obviously.

"Then I guess I'm going to need to talk to her and tell her that her man has been fooling around." Alanna joked and Faolán laughed.

"I really like you. And it's not 'cause the mate bond." Faolán caressed her face. Alanna didn't want to have to admit it, but she felt much better with Faolán than with Tyr. She couldn't help but compare.

"I'm liking you too." She admitted it out loud and it made Faolán's heart race.
