Chapter 2: Chapter 1: An Orphan Boy
Private Sieg Houstin, he was foot soldier in war that happened 15 years ago. It was the most bloodiest war that history has known because it was between Human and Elf kingdom and the falling of Elf kingdom. The first major war between two big kingdom after a long of rivalry history. Sieg was on his way to headquarters after been ambushed by an Elf soldier. All of his squad was killed and he's the only one left.
Exhausted, he decided to rest at nearest town. The town was completely deserted. There is a lot of dead bodies on the street and the stink of blood is strong. No doubt it was the war that cause it. Most of the dead bodies were an Elf citizen and few of them was Human soldiers. Sieg continues walking around to find a safe place for him to rest but just then he heard a crying baby."Is that what I think it is?"He looks around and follow the sound of the crying.
He reached a house that looks like it will collapse anytime soon. He entered it cautiously and found a dead Elf women with a sword struck on her back while she's hugging something. It was a baby but the baby was not an Elf, he's a human. Their hair colour match because both of them were silver but not their skin colour because the Elf was shining white while the baby was tanned.
"I never heard or saw anyone with a silver hair before" he thoughts on himself.
He reached out his hand to take the baby away but the gripping from the Elf was strong as if she's still alive.
After a moment, Sieg manages to take the baby away and he noticed that there was a necklace around the baby's neck. The necklace was carved beautifully with a picture of famous goddess, Jaya and "Vix" was written just below it. Sieg left the house with the baby and he later manages to reach headquarters.
After a few days, the Elf kingdom falls and Sieg quitted the army and went back to his hometown, Wira. He decided to raise kids that lost their parents whether they are human or not in the war as amends to what he had done. Therefore by using the money he got from the army, he build orphanage and became the first principal and the baby Vix was his first orphan that he brought in.
He started taking an orphan in as there are a lot of them after the war. Sometimes, he came across a child in the middle of road to another city while he was travelling or someone left them infront of the orphanage. The environtment inside the orphanage changes greatly after a lot of kids and babies was taken in as you can hear noises of kids playing and babies crying.
But there is one boy despite all the noises, he still peacefully sleeps in his cradle as he was in the library. The necklace that was left behind was placed beside him. The boy behaviour make the ladies worker of orphanage and Sieg himself astonished.
This silver hair boy, Vix at the age of 1 already can speaks and running like a 3 years old kid. By age of 3, he already know how to read and calculate basic things. He's body also does not show that he was 3 years old because of his rapid growth as he looks like 7-8 years old. He can lifted heavy objects that required by 3 teenagers boys to lift it when he was 10 years old .
Not only his strength and intelligence that surpassed his peers but also his looks. His face is masculine handsome type not the girly one and perfectly shape jaw with nice tanned skin colour. His eyes colour is unique and never seen by anyone before which is gold colour. He often mistaken by people as young adult man because of his sturdy, bit muscular body and his tall height at the age of 15. Many of teenagers girl and adult women secretly fall in love with him and of course the boys and men hating him for it.
People in the orphanage especially little childrens adore him because of his kind and loving character. He's considered as 'big brother' that people can rely on whenever they got a problem. Orphan kids usually getting bullies by children in the town especially if their are not from human race. Vix always confront them whenever that happens.
"big bro Vix!" as the little Elf girl at the age of 5 running towards him with a sad face.
Vix, who currently lifting a bunch of woods that he gathered from the forest nearby and about to going inside the orphanage turns his head around. "hmm? Owh its you Candice, what's wrong?"
"Big bro Vix, you have to help big bro Rook right now because Dent and his gang are trying to do bad things to him! " she burst to cry as she said that.
She continues saying "Dent and his gang trying to harrass me when I went to town with big bro Rook and then.. And then.. he going inside the shop to buying me ice cream. That's when Dent saw me and they circled me and keep insulting and trying to hit me when big bro Rook heard the sound of screaming, he immediately jumped out to Dent from inside the shop to save me!".
" They keep hitting big bro Rook together and he told me to tell ran! and.. ".
" That enough, i understand, calm down and tell me where is he now? " Vix drop the woods that he was holding and crouch down to Candice and wipe her tears.
She started to calm down and say " last I saw big bro Rook ran toward the abandoned building behind the town, Dent and his gang went after him"
"Good, you did well now go inside and rest. Promise me don't tell anyone. We don't want to worry anyone especially principal Sieg okay?"
"Okay, I promise big bro Vix"
"Good girl" he patted her head and watch her walking toward and pushing the main door of the orphanage building.
He doesn't waste any time as he ran toward the town. The distance from the orphanage to the town will take about 10 minutes but for Vix who have athletic and sturdy body, it will take less than 5 minutes.
"Dent!! I've found him"!
A young boy wearing hat calling out someone from his back while pointing out at the big box behind one of the old buildings of the small town, Wira.
" Where is he?"as Dent walks toward him, he is very big man with a rough face and baldy head eventhough he is only 15.
"There, inside the box." The big box suddenly move a little.
"Ahhhh there you are, I've been wondering where you've ran to.
Dent viciously tear down the big box with both of his hand. Inside the box was a young boy that short in figure and black hair.
The boy trembling and cover in fear as he saw Dent tear down the big box.
Dent stretched out his hand and pulled the boy's collar shirt roughly.
"You think you can run away from me after jumping on me like that huh.. I'm gonna make sure you will remember this day.. Ah here they are".
A group of youngsters consists of 7 boys and 4 girls were spotted by Dent running towards them.
"Sorry we're late Dent, you and Case ran very fast we're barely keep up" said the boy that looks like from a rich family.
"Of course, we're not slow and weak like you Richard" respond by Case with his cocky face while adjusting his hat.
"What did you said?"Richard moving towards Case with irritated face.
" Enough!".
Both of them went to silent immediately after hearing Dent and you can see genuine of fear coming from their face.
Dent drag Rook while grabbing his collar and throw him at the center of the group.
"Hold him up stupid! I'm gonna show you guys how to deal with rats that try to bite your ass"
Case and Richard step forward and hold Rook up. Both of them hold his hand then brought him to his knee infront of Dent.
"Stupid low life such as yourself dare to harm me especially because you want to defend those inferior Elf race, have you out of your god damn mind?!"
Dent throw a punch to his face couple of times. You can see blood drip from Rook face.
"Arghh.. " Rook spits his blood from his mouth.
"Not so tough right now huh 'big bro Rook' hahaha"
"I rather die than having you as my little brother"
Unsatisfied, Dent approaching Rook and step down his head until it hit the ground.
" What did you just said you filthy rat?
"..." Rook went silent and looks at Dent straight to his eyes.
Dent feels agitate by Rook and kicks his face while his head still on the ground.
"ughhhh" Rook covering his nose that is bleeding by Dent's kick.
"You trying to be hero like Vix aren't you?" Dent saying that while grabbing Rook's hair and hold his head up.
He's crouching down and he bring Rook's head closer to him and say "Well, you ain't him so I can beat the shit out of you all I want and I still remember what Vix did to me so you gonna pay for it"
"Let's do something else Dent, this is boring, how about we hang out at my room today aaand my parent aren't in the house now"
A girl's voice that in flirty tone come from the group. It was Claire, the most beautiful girl in the town. She has a beautiful white skin, blonde hair with a ponytail style, blue eyes and reddened cheek but she's lacking in term of 'body package'. She clinging to Dent's hand and pull him away from the place.
"You got lucky, you f**kers." Dent start moving while being pull by Claire.
They leaving the place . All that left was Rook groaning and trembling on the floor. As he about to get up, he hear a sound of rapid footsteps getting louder and louder. He tilt his head up to search the source of the sound and spotted a young boy with silver hair and tanned skin running towards him. This boy with handsome face and sturdy build that look like a adult man wearing white t shirt and beige cargo pants is of course his best friend Vix.
"You okay? , I'm sorry I'm not with you when this things happen, those ass**** know when to take chance when im not with you guys" Vix said while extend his hands to help Rook getting up.
"Ouch.. Oucc.. h". "Im okay Vix, dont apologize to me, its my fault that I'm weak" Rook brush Vix hands off and stood up by himself as he rubbing his nose that was bleeding.
"How is Candice? Is she alright?" asked Rook as he start to calming down.
"She's fine, more importantly where are those bastards?" Vix a little bit shocked by Rook that rejected his hands to help him but he ignoring as it is not important issue right now.
"Just leave them, it wasn't that serious" waving his hand as it is not big deal.
"What do you mean Rook? They try to harm our little sister and you.. How can you said it was not serious?" Agitated can be seen from the looks on Vix's face.
"Sigh.. Vix, have you not noticed yet after all these years and all things happened to the kids in the orphanage and with Midu? Are you that blind Vix?" Rook starting to raise his voice a bit.
"What do you mean, I don't understand.." Vix lost his composure after hearing a name Midu as he remembered all the bads memories that he try to bury deep inside his heart.
"Of course you don't" Rook just walk pass off Vix and leave him standing alone in the old building. Vix turn his head and watch Rook exited the building and continue staring eventhough Rook no longer there. He's still thinking about the meaning behind Rook's words.
It is already night time as he left the building and he's now walking aimlessly in the town while thinking until he reach the south side of the town and unexpectedly he reach cemetery. He turns back and wanted to head back to orphanage but he stop halfway. "Maybe I should pay her visit"
