Chapter 10: Dark Valley
It was already dawn when Qian Ye decided to stop cultivating, it took him 4 hours to reach 7th rank of Qi Gathering, "This cultivation method is really awesome, I feel strength all over my body," Qian Ye's body was now covered by in dark aura making it sinister, Qian Ye clenched his fist and the dark aura dispersed.
It was then the other disciples woke up, it seems like they didn't notice anything, "Good morning, Senior Brother Fencer," Wenren Yu greeted him as she woke up.
"Good morning to you too, make everyone get ready, we will leave after everyone ate their breakfast," Qian Ye said, was surprised that Wenren Yu called him Senior Brother, he looks like they were about the same age, but Qian Ye doesn't really mind, if he adds how old he was in his past life then he is the eldest in this group.
Qian Ye then noticed Wenren Yu staring at him.
"What is the problem?" Qian Ye asked.
"Brother Qian, why are you wearing a mask?" Wenren Yu asked.
"Mask?" Qian Ye touched his face and yes, just like Wenren Yu said, he felt something else on his face, Qian Ye pulled it out and it easily came off, 'Thankfully it's not a cursed mask,' Qian Ye thought, he carefully looked at the mask and he found it was the same as the mask he saw earlier.
'When did I get this? I didn't even feel I was wearing this,' Qian Ye inspected the mask.

Qian ye looked at it carefully but except for the description, there was nothing else there, 'This is a cool item, it's extremely helpful for me!" Qian Ye thought, he then looked at Wenren Yu.
"You can go now," Qian Ye shooed Wenren Yu away.
"Yes," Wenren Yu bowed at him and left.
Qian Ye stood up from his seat and stretched his body, bone pop sounds resounded as Qian Ye continued stretching his body, a few minutes later Qian Ye looked at the disciples, it seems like everyone had rested well, and Qian Ye got some food from the Spatial Pouch and gave it to them.
After everyone finished eating, Qian Ye and the group continued their journey, it didn't take long for them to reach the borders of Greenhill region, they now have to cross the place called Dark Valley, it was the only way to reach the other region.
"What is on the other side?" Qian Ye asked.
"It's the Dragon Empire Region, the Orilon City that we are going to is one of the cities in Dragon Empire," Qiu Si explained.
"How many cities are there?" Qian Ye asked.
"There are 14 cities in Dragon Empire," Qiu Si replied.
"Then, how many are there in the Greenhill region?" Qian Ye raised a brow.
"None, this place is full of Sects," Qiu Si said.
"Then how about this Dark Valley?" Qian Ye asked.
"This is a place where many beasts roam, this is practically their turf," Qiu Si replied.
"Is it dangerous?" Qian Ye asked.
"If we are careful, it would be safe," Qiu Si replied .
"That's good, let's enter," Qian Ye stepped forward.
The Dark Valley is a place where dark mist and black withered trees covered the place, there was also this ominous feeling clinging on the disciples skin and sometimes, the howls of the beasts could be heard, Qian Ye walked leisurely curiously looking around.
This was the first time Qian Ye came to this place, he was interested to look around, Qian Ye turned his head towards the others and smiled.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Sui Wenyan whispered.
"I'm going to check something guys, you go proceed, I will follow later," Qian Ye said with a smile.
"Qian Ye, it's dangerous, you can get lost in this place, it's much better if everyone sticks together," Qiu Si said.
"I agree," Zhangsun Shan, who hasn't spoken much, said.
Qian Ye raised his hands and signaled them to stop, "Don't make a noise," Qian Ye said, he then turned his head towards the mist, a low growl could be heard, everyone stepped back as they saw a huge figure of a beast walking towards them.
"That's a Violet Bear," Qiu Si exclaimed.
[Violet Bear]
A beast that roams on Dark Valley, known for its strength and strong defense.
"Why is it called Violet Bear?" Qian Ye asked, the Violet Bears looks like a normal bear but its body is much bigger, it also has sharp fangs and its fur looks like it was made of iron
"It's because-"
*Roar
The Violet Bear roared as it saw Qian Ye and the disciples, its eyes turned red and its fur changed to color Violet, it raised its paws and smacked the ground.
*Bam!
The ground shook and a shockwave pushed the group back, some lost their balance.
Qian Ye seemed not to be affected, he interestingly looked at the Violet Bear.
"Be careful, Violet Bear are extremely ferocious, it's on Foundation Establishment, even I'm not sure if I could defeat it," Zhangsun Shan said in a solemn voice.
"It's strong? Let me try," Qian Ye walked forward.
"Qian Ye, it's dangerous! You're only in Qi Gathering," Sui Wenyan tried to stop Qian Ye.
"Don't worry, I'm very eager to try my new skills," Qian Ye said with a smile and faced the Violet bear.
*Roar!
Violet Bear charged towards Qian Ye, it raised its claws and swept it towards Qian Ye, the air seemed to get ripped apart as it descended towards Qian Ye.
*Boom!
Smoke and debris covered the place and everyone couldn't see what happened.
"Qian Ye!" Sui Wenyan yelled.
"Stop shouting, you're going to attract more monsters," everyone heard a voice, Qian Ye stood in front of the Violet Bear, Qian Ye then punched the Violet Bear on the nose.
*Boom!
The Violet Bear was sent flying for a few meters.
"What!? Just a normal punch?"
"How did Brother Qian defeat the Violet Bear in one punch?"
"Didn't he get hit by the bear?"
Everyone was shocked, they clearly saw how Qian Ye got hit by the Violet Bear, and the most shocking one is the strength of Qian Ye, isn't he only on Qi Gathering Stage? How could he defeat a beast in Foundation Establishment Stage, even the cultivators on the same realm won't be able to defeat it.
"Oh, it's fur is really hard," Qian Ye commented, just now Qian Ye tried the Supreme Dark Shadow Physique, which makes his body have the properties of a shadow, and just like it said, when the Violent Bear hit him, the claws went through his body.
As for his strength, Dark Change Breathing Technique gave him a great boost, he was even surprised.
*Roar!
The Violet Bear roared as it stared at Qian Ye with its ferocious eyes, rage could be seen in its eyes, it furiously charged towards Qian Ye.
It's speed is much faster than before, in just a few moments, the Violent Bear appeared in front of Qian Ye and swept its claws.
Qian Ye frowned, something was off, he immediately noticed flames coming out of the Violet Bear's claws.
*Boom!
The deep pit with flames was created from its attack.

Qian Ye suddenly reappeared behind the Violet Bear, he raised his fist and slammed the head of the Violent Bear with his fist.
*Boom!
The Violent bear's head was slammed on the ground, deep web cracks appeared on the ground, but Qian Ye was not done yet, he spun his body on the air and sent another attack which is a drop kick.
*Boom!
The ground shook for a second and the ground created a small pit, Qian Ye landed on the ground and stretched his neck, "That was a good exercise," Qian Ye commented, he then looked at the dead body of the Violet Bear.
*Ding!

"A reward nice," Qian Ye smiled.
"Are you okay, Brother Qian, let me check you up, I'm a doctor," Wenren Yu ran after him.
"You're a doctor? Well, I'm fine, no worries," Qian Ye said.
"Okay," Wenren Yu didn't insist.
"Qian Ye, You are really strong," Qiu Si commented, Zhangsun Shan beside her also nodded.
"That's nothing, is this Ferocious Beast edible?" Qian Ye asked.
"Yes Brother Qian, Ferocious Beasts body is full of nutrients, as long as it is cooked by a Spirit Chef, " a disciple said.
"Spirit Chef? What is that?" Qian Ye asked.
"Spirit Chef are the only ones who had the ability to cook ferocious beasts and retain the properties of the ferocious beasts meat that is beneficial to cultivators" A disciple replied.
"Who is a Spirit Chef here?" Qian Ye asked
"I'm a Spirit Chef Brother Qian but I'm still a Rank 1, I could only retain about 60% of Ferocious Meat properties" A disciple raised her hand.
"What's your name?" Qian Ye asked.
"My name is Ren Yukihira Brother Qian," she introduced herself, she had short red hair giving off a wild aura and a sexy figure, only she was a flat hill.
"Ren Yukihira? That's a Japanese name," Qian Ye looked at Ren Yukihira, she doesn't look like a Japanese at all, well, Qian Ye also doesn't really look like a chinese, so didn't bother asking.
"Okay, from now on you will cook for every ferocious meat we will get, the others, dismantle the Violet Bear and let's continue hunting on our way," Qian Ye said.
"Yes," all the disciples went to work.
"Qiu Si and Zhangsun Shan, you will help me in hunting, it will be faster that way," Qian Ye ordered.
"Yes!"
