Chapter 2: Invitation
I am shook. I cannot move. It comes closer. Step ... Step ... Step. With every step I hear, my lungs tighten and my muscles spasm. I close my eyes hoping it won't notice me.
But then"...."suddenly, silence. The last sound of a step fades away into the nothingness. I think it is over, so I open my eyes. To my surprise it was not.
As I opened them I could see a silhouette. Long ears, slim but tall body. Hairy? A pair of eyes, glowing as red as a Rupy in the moonlight. So bright I could see my own hand. And what seems to be a tail, wiggling in the background.
I am scared, I want to run away. Like I always did, like I always do. But I know that even if I'd try to run away, I wouldn't have the slightest chance.
Knowing that I make a sound.
"Uhm, Ex- excuse me? May I know what you want...sir?"
"Oh? The little lamb can talk. What a surprise. And here I thought I'd die of boredom. You see Kid, I came here today not to talk to you, but rather to get you."
"Wh-what do you mean?", I say frightened.
He snaps. BANG! Suddenly the normally pitch as black alley lightens up. He looks around and takes a seat on the wooden box right behind him.
I could see him clearly now, but he wasn't as normal as I thought he would be, considering the fact that he just came out of nowhere....
