Chapter 138: Tower (4)

People all over the eastern seaboard tuned in to see Lokee and the surrounding area get ripped off the ground and pulled towards Geralt's wormhole. They backed away from their televisions, computers, and phones in shock as Lokee howled trying to fight off the gravitational pull.

Gotham girl charged up before firing a massive heat-vision, the beam ripped through the wormhole as if it were nothing but butter. Lokee, now 10 feet in the air proceeded to fall towards the now-massive dirt pit below the three.

8 feet

5 feet

3...

The wormhole reformed as if nothing happened. Lokee released a massive eldritch (raw magic) roar destabilizing the wormhole for but a moment. Geralt scoffed and continued uninterrupted; this wormhole led straight into the gravitation pull of a natural blackhole!

And Lokee knew it, the closer he got more visible the blackhole was. Geralt wasn't sending him towards a regular blackhole. No, he was aiming for the only blackhole near the center of the milky way … The Saguttarius A! And it was what you would call, A SUPERMASSIVE BLACKHOLE!

Claire finally noticing what was on the other side of this wormhole dropped to her knees asking "Is this what you so-called heroes call justice?" In a soft shaky voice.

Katherine reached into her ear and crushed the justice league communicator before Looking towards Claire with the utmost disdain.

Claire's eyes began to glow with a fierce red light, as she raised her head towards Lokee and the portal. Katherine gripped her shield as tight as she could while telling Claire. "Justice? Don't talk to me about Justice when you're working for one of the greatest mass murders in all of existence! Tell me do you know who he is? Because I do, and from my position. That monster deserves to die."

Claire stood up with a tightly clutched fist and deep bulging veins. Katherine tightened the grip around her sword as she watched Claire's every move. Claire speaking with absolute conviction told Katherine. "Is Lokee perfect, no. In fact, he's mentally unstable and getting worse. However, I have faith in his plan and our growing team of like-minded people.

So, say what you will. But I promised to serve the last true god of Norse. And will not die a dog's death!"

With that, Claire bolted towards Lokee side with wide-open palms and the same fierce look. At the same time, the cameramen on board the helicopters zoomed in on Claire who fired off her strongest heat-vision to date.

The wormhole shattered, and the energy dissipated, everybody watching leaned away in shock at this display of raw power.

Lokee hit the ground with a loud massive thud, people leaned into their televisions as they watched thunderclouds rolling from the surrounding area. Claire raised her hands and people came closer to their televisions.

*CLAP! *

A loud thunderous clap burst from her hands, creating a wave of explosive sound. The helicopters went skidding back, glass shattered and the closest cars had their bodies shredded to the frame. Katherine stood meters from the epicenter of Claire's thunderous clapped.

To everybody's shock, Katherine looked completely faze in her standard silver combat suit. The camera's panned away from her as the thunder clouds that Claire dissipated rapidly reformed while taking on the appearance of a massive Doorway!

Lokee's body began to shake with an almost primal fear as Geralt's silvery-white energy transformed into the form of the same divine lightning he fought all those years ago. The people at home began to petty and pray for the wolf as Claire stood tall like a dauntless hero.

"Why does queen Reinhardt stand there?" Asked many of her fans, while Geralt's lighting rolled through the cloud.

*KRACKATOOOM! *

The first bolt shot out of the clouds at speed barely eclipsing the strongest man, Claire tried to shatter it. But her fist fell short of the elusive bolt. The bolt crashed into Lokee's right leg; however, it did not leave a mark...instead, it formed a chain.

That burned into deep Lokee's flesh while staying connected with the clouds above. Claire ripped the chain off Lokee with haste however the chain reformed as if to taught all her efforts.

Another bolt rumbled, drawing Claire's attention to the clouds above.

Katherine watched as Claire's skin shriveled while her strength increased, but to her shock, Claire had healed seconds later.

*KRACKATOOOM! *

The second bolt just barely passed Claire, ensnaring Lokee's other leg at Mach 12 speeds. Katherine sighed watching this sight, she knew Geralt was taunting the girl because lightning traveled near the speed of light and if lightning was a number, it would be around Mach 1 million. And that was something Geralt could do.

*KRACKATOOOM! *

Once more Claire's strength increased, causing her body to lose it vitality. And once more it healed, but just like last time...she missed. The bolt hit Lokee's leg at Mach 30, giving her no chance to react. The third chain formed and she ripped it off, but that did nothing as a knew chain took its place.

*KRACKATOOOM! *

the last bolt hit Lokee's last arm completely ensuring him. The people at home looked to Katherine hoping she'd save what they thought was an overgrown wolf.

She looked to Claire and saw a young teenage girl with a past that was not so different than her own. The cameramen up above panned up to the massive clouds, which began to glow with an ethereal blue light.

This light released a faint yet oh so beautiful aura, Lokee's shakes worsened as he looked up this aura. The flying mortals shook with a hope that death would embrace them before carrying them away. Claire's knees hit Lokee's stomach as she teared up in defeat.

The chains around Lokee started to drag his body up towards what most people assumed would be an icy cold hell. A sense of dread engulfed all who witnessed, mortals and the earth-bound gods alike. As Lokee's death was close at hand.

Most gods looked towards Geralt with deep-seated fear, before glancing at Olympus with the assumption that he was of their ilk.

Then they looked towards the energy seeping from Geralt's gateway with ravenous eyes and dried out throats, after all...It wasn't every decade a god would die. And any man, person, or thing with that sort of power would draw most, if not all of their attention.

Yet today they found five. Those five were Geralt Reinhardt, Katherine Reinhardt, both the Royal Star and Royal Wonder, and now...this energy. What was it...?

It was the last of the true Odin's divine power, it represented. Wisdom, poetry, divination, magic, and most importantly...

Death! And on any normal day, it permeated the walls in Geralt's hideout!

Katherine looked towards Claire and saw the same girl who cried at the death of her parents years ago. She saw a girl who cried as the grandmother she loved tried to hunt her like a dog. That girl got her second chance at happiness...that girl was her.

And when she looked at Claire a part of her saw herself. She knew Lokee need to die, not just for the Reinhardt family. But for all he harmed and all he planned to harm. 'But if he dies like this that girl will become a monster in its—herself.'

Claire turned her head to see Katherine sitting on Lokee's head with her eyes trained upon Claire's tear-stained face. "I'll help you out for today, but promise me you'll towards this mutt with both eyes open. After all, there's a reason he got his name and title, oh, and let me tell you. He is the original and not that fake you read about in stories. And those stories don't do this monster justice."

"98% MAHAHAHAHAHA!"
