Chapter 3: Change

Everyone expects me to be the same person I was yesterday. Expects me to be the person they can walk over, the person they can use. How can I allow myself to be treated like the help again? Why would I put my heart through such pain? I used to pretend everything was okay with the way people treated me but now I'm done with being that person. I have grown into a stronger person and I refuse to let anyone make me feel otherwise. I am beautiful and intelligent and I refuse to let anyone tell me otherwise. Most importantly I'm becoming the person I want to be and I refuse to let anyone stop me!
