Chapter 2: 2. HE IS COME
Today I woke up and the first memory I remember is, that an old man came here and acted as nothing happened. The sound of a knock on the door startled me and made my eyes fall on him, I could clearly hear the man's voice calling my name repeatedly as if trying to wake me from my sleep. I've been awake since a few minutes ago but hearing his voice call my name repeatedly like that, made my breath suddenly heavy as if my lungs were no longer able to accommodate the air as they should, and all I can do is close my eyes and close my ears hoping for a sound. it can disappear slowly.
I made sure several times that I didn't hear the sound again, I immediately got up from my bed, took a sip of the glass of water I had prepared since last night, and immediately got ready to go to school.
And now that I'm ready with my uniform and school supplies, I immediately entered the elevator and headed for the 1st floor, when I got out of the elevator I was treated to the sight of the old man enjoying his morning tea while reading the newspaper with a peaceful feeling. I paused for a few seconds before finally deciding to walk past the man, ignoring him as if he didn't exist.
"Why don't you have breakfast?" he asked when he noticed my presence behind him. I didn't intend to answer it and quickly got out of the house. It's fine to have to walk to the bus stop, as long as I can get out as soon as possible.
I hope that guy gets out of there soon.

"It seems that you failed to raise your sister to be a child who has good manners towards parents, Hansel Ethan Liu." Oliver said sarcastically as he lowered the newspaper he was reading so he could see the figure of his son who was relaxing playing his Ipad.
"He's fine if you don't come here like you didn't do anything wrong," replied Hasel who kept his eyes focused on the thin cube item in front of him.
"You are the same as your sister, both have no manners." Now Oliver's voice was starting to rise. Hansel knew that even though he and Elainne hated this man in front of him, Oliver was their parent, and Hansel was trying desperately to keep himself from speaking in the same high-pitched voice as his father.
"You yourself made us lose respect for you." The answer is relaxed.
"Hansel! If you didn't manage papa's company, you wouldn't be like this. Don't be arrogant!" Oliver snapped.
"Then what do you want? I let go of the company? Of course, I will, I can even buy your company which is not much. Don't worry, I will make the handover of the task today!"
Hansel, who was overwhelmed with emotions that he failed to control, finally chose to leave the house with his briefcase, leaving Oliver and getting into the car to go to the office.
This isn't the first time they've had a fight like this, it's been several times since Oliver decided to marry a woman, and even more fatally, Elainne learns a very heartbreaking fact.
Hansel is indeed currently working under Liu Corp, but he also invested a lot of money in this company which has made him successful in a fairly high position.
There are no more happy families, no more families who can support each other, like hot water splashed out during the winter, everything turns so cold.

When I entered the classroom, from a distance I could hear Chloe's voice shouting my name, I could also hear the sound of her footsteps running towards me.
"Hi, good morning pumpkin! I got a deposit from the administration, this is your sports uniform, today we have sports lessons." He handed me a paper bag.
"Oh, thank you." I answered, I immediately opened the paper bag and saw a beautiful pastel-colored lunch box, I looked at Chloe with a surprised look.
"That's a sandwich from my mom, today's gym class you probably haven't eaten so my mom prepared it for you." I can only reply with a smile.
I'm jealous, if only mom was still around I would be able to eat well.
"It seems your mother is a good person, I will eat this. Give my regards to your mother okay."
Chloe nodded and swung her arm around my shoulder.
"Of course, you can play over to my house if you want." Offer it.
"Where is your house?"
"Kemang, you?"
"Really? My house is also in the Kemang, but I never left the house after moving from here."
"Then let's go for a walk this weekend." Get Chloe excited. This isn't a bad idea and I immediately nodded in agreement.
Well, it looks like meeting Chloe was lucky for me. He seemed to understand what I felt, he even understood what to do before I spoke. The two of us walked towards our class with a smile etched on my lips without me noticing.
The teacher came with a new student who followed behind him, suddenly the eyes of everyone in this class were on the new child including me.
"Good morning, today we have a new student from Surabaya. Please introduce yourself."
"Introduce my name is Malvin from Surabaya, I hope you can help me in the future." Said the new kid.
"Looks like this class is lucky to get two new faces in two days. Please Malvin sit in the back corner of Elainne." The teacher ordered, I paused and reflexively raised my hand, telling him that his seat was behind me.
The class went on as usual, but the atmosphere of the class was a bit different after Malvin came to this class. Maybe you can already guess. That's right because there is a new face and I admit that Malvin is a little handsome, different from Indonesian faces as if he is a strong magnet that attracts the attention of many other students.
Except me of course.
The recess bell rang, all the students in my class reflexively cleaned their books and put them in their bags in unison. This time I can only stay silent because Chloe left me for student council business.
"No wonder he's good at blending in, he's a student council kid apparently." I thought.
All I can do now is plug in my AirPods and play a song from my cellphone, I take a pencil and draw something in a small book that I usually carry with me ignoring the people around me.
When my cell phone beeps an incoming notification, I flinched to see Malvin resting his head on the table, staring at me from the side for some time. My reflex turned off the song from my cellphone and took off my AirPods.
"What are you doing?" I asked quickly while catching my breath, which was slightly out of breath in surprise.
"Wanted to meet you. I'm Malvin, you must be Elainne." He spoke innocently as if he hadn't done anything wrong. Even though he has surprised me and fortunately I have a normal heart, what if I have a heart disorder and can get heart disease right away.
OK, that's overkill.
"If you already know, why ask?" I answered briefly and went back to doing my activities ignoring Malvin who was still in a sitting position and was now adjusting his position to be straight.
Damn, why didn't he just walk away from me?
