Selah heard the voices as she came out of the unconscious state that was helping heal her through the most painful part of her injury. 

"Cora?" She spoke, hearing the female's name. 

Had Cora been the one to save her? Thank the Goddess that their Luna was a vampire, because there would have been no waking up from Ranier's assault. 

"Selah, it's me," Sage came forward to allow her to see his face, because it was too difficult to move right now. 

"Sage, I'm so sorry," she said, her eyes immediately silvering with tears. "I was wrong. All this time. I should not have spent my life pursuing…"

"Shhh shh shh," Sage said, grabbing her hand. "Let's not talk about that now." 

"No, I need you to know that I have seen that I was wrong. I was so wrong, and I am ready to face whatever it is that I need to. Ranier should have killed me out there. That should have been my fate. I was ready for it. I was ready to die for my pack. I will always be."
