Chapter 8: System?
I woke up. I found myself laying on the bed, it seemed like the rain has stopped and the night came. Proving that it was no ordinary thing.
Well, now that I had all my memories back I knew it wasn't just a dream, it was just a matter of time until Fumiko came to meet me again.
My head was still hurting so I went to the bathroom to wash my face so I can wake up properly and think about what is happening.
*Knocks on the door*
It was probably Fumiko who knocked on the door just now.
I went and turned on the lights in my apartment while going to open the door. I opened the door, it was Fumiko, I was very happy to see her waiting for me, it made me feel important. She was standing in front of the door as if she waited a lot of time for this moment, and, it was just like that, she waited 5000 thousand years after all. She was shy, and I was happy that after all those years our feelings for each other lasted.
''Come in, I'll go pull the blinds in the apartment.''
''As you wish.''
Thinking of it, it was the first time a girl came over to my place in this human life since I didn't seek pointless relationships that did not last.
''I have something for you.'' She said with a serious face.
''What is it?''
''Just say with a loud voice: ''I order thee to obey me.'' And you will find out what I am talking about.''
I was wondering who will obey me if I said that, the servants from my past life? Maybe.
''Got it.'' I said while thinking of who would appear.
''I order thee to obey me.''
Something appeared before me out of nowhere. It was an image, probably only Fumiko and I were able to see it.
''Will you begin the game?'' Was written on it.
'[Yes] or [No]'
I had to touch the ''Yes'' button so I pressed it.
''The savior has returned. None shall interrupt his journey of regaining the power he had once owned.''
It was a voice that wasn't familiar to me, I never heard such a voice. Judging by its sound, it was probably one of a robot.
''This is my gift for you with the occasion of you returning, you will need it.'' Said Fumiko smiling at me, her eyes were full of hope. It gave me some joy and confidence.
''Thank you.'' I told her happily.
''The system shall be unveiled to the user.'' Said the voice again.

[Skills: The user knows them already, his skills will advance as he levels up more ]

[Contracts: one with Fumiko Light, the other one was made with a secret accomplice]
''Hmm, so this is a system that will help me regain my power, right?'' I said turning to Fumiko.
''Yes, it is.'' She said while nodding her head.
''Thank you for the gift. Was it you who created the system?''
''Yes, I made it myself.''
''Oh, I suppose you had to put some time and effort into it.'' I said while raising my brows.
''I had five thousand years to make it after all.'' She said giggling.
''Haha, you are right.'' I said putting a hand on my face.
''Do you like it?'' She said and gave me a look that suggested my Fumiko wanted some reconnaissance.
I knew what had to be done to make her happy so, I hugged her and whispered in her ear that I was grateful for having her. She froze for a second but after that, she raised her head.
''I wish you luck in saving the world.''
''You think I can do it?'' I asked her with a sorrowful voice.
''I do not think you will be able to save it, I am sure of it.''
''Thank you for always believing in me.'' I said.
I was approaching the start of the war more and more as days went by. The war could start tomorrow or after years. I do not know when it will start nor did I know all of my enemies but, I was certain that I'd have to fight for what I care about. My enemies were countless but I also have allies.
I do not know the reason for such an immense war to be started, the only task that comes to my mind right now is to protect my loved ones. And if protecting them means going to war, blood shall be spilled.
*Azrael's POV*
''I heard that he should come back to life in this period'' Said an entity who was sitting on a distant throne and whose face wasn't noticeable.
''Yes, my lord.'' Said Azrael while kneeling to the mysterious entity.
''Wait for him to show himself.''
''Why should I wait?''
''Going after him would mean trouble since the goddess is with him.''
''Is she that strong?'' Azrael asked with a fearful voice.
''You do not know her true identity, do you?'' Said the mysterious being while reaching for his glass of wine.
''Am I supposed to know?'' Said Azrael making a doubtful expression.
''Haha... no, you aren't.''
''Will you tell me who she is?''
''No, I would spoil the surprise.''
He put his glass of wine down, Azrael was confused and somewhat afraid of what is going to happen. But also excited to find out what was going on.
''So you are implying that I will find out soon enough, right?''
''Indeed, you don't have to worry about that, Azrael.''
''Okay then, my lord.'' Said Azrael bowing.
The entity got up from his throne and went to the window, he stared at the sky of hell, which had a reddish color that resembled the wickedness of all the souls that were imprisoned in hell
