30-thousand-foot-tall bones were scattered in clusters all around the Middle Continent’s biggest forest. They rose high above the dark green canopy, ruthlessly piercing the sky. They dwarfed everything for miles and thousands of miles around them. Everything, except the Five Sacred Mountains.
