Chapter 9: THE JOURNEY OF THE STRONGEST
Right now, Jack was reclining on his massive bed, his gaze fixed on the glowing interface of his system window as he sought something beneficial to aid him on his journey to become stronger.

"Found something interesting. Well, let's take a look."

"Ha! What did I think? My luck would never let me get what I want..."
After realizing his low rank, Jack let out an annoyed gasp.

Suddenly, Jack heard a sound in his head, and a red interface appeared before him. As he read its content, his happiness grew, but the penalty made him uncertain.
"Well, it seems my luck isn't as bad as I thought. I really got a main quest out of the blue and a free skill too. The risks are high, but the rewards are too tempting for me to ignore."
After reading the content from the red interface, Jack stood up from his bed with an expression of utter resolve. He decided to give his all in learning this skill. After all, it's not every day that anyone gets a free skill from their system, do they? After thanking his system profusely, he set out to find a suitable place to train for the skill.

"Well, I live in a freaking castle. Damn, this castle is so big. No matter how much I walk, I can't seem to find my way to the training area. Obviously, there should be one here, but the problem is where."
Jack wandered through the castle like a ghost in a graveyard, his eyes moving curiously, taking in every corner.
The Castle of the Demon, as its name suggests, was exclusively designed for demons. The obsidian walls exuded a strangely calming aura, and the cold, chilly air around the castle was perfect for demons.
"Young Master Damon, may I ask where you are heading?"
While Jack was minding his own business, he heard a girl's voice from behind. Turning around, he saw a lady standing before him, her beautiful face adorned with a curious expression.
Her hair boasted a vibrant shade of blue, her eyes resembling a vast ocean, brimming with curiosity. Her body emanated strength and courage, and her perfect curves could enchant any man with just a mere glance. Her aura, a potent blend of confidence and resilience, marked her as a force to be reckoned with, filled with the pride of a warrior.
"Young Master, do you need something? Can I help you with anything?"
Even her manner of speaking was polite, and though she didn't address him with his title as Demon King, the respect in her speech was evident.
"This is the third time... I'm now sure. The god of true looks must have left Earth and started living here. Heck, I thought I'd met all types of girls, but damn, each one of them is in a league of their own."
"No, I'm okay. As you might have heard, I had an accident with my magic the other day, so my memory power is weakened. May I ask your name?"
Jack attempted to use the skill of uncertainty on the lady, but it had no effect on her. It meant she was at least three times stronger than him, like her mother. So, he had to ask her name directly.
Seeing him act like that, the lady was truly surprised. It was the first time she had seen Young Master Damon, but somehow, she shook off her surprise and answered him.
"Yes, my name is Aurora Frostblade. I am currently the general of the Frost army, under the rule of the great Demon Order, young master."
"And this Frost army you talk about, what are they specialized in?"
"The Frost army is under the Duke House Frostblade. Our main powerhouse is our mages, who specialize in ice magic. As for me, I am the daughter of Duke Ray Frostblade. I am specialized in both sword techniques and ice and wind magic."
Hearing her talk about her army, Jack was impressed. Having a whole army of mages full of ice magic was amazing, but something else piqued Jack's interest.
"Did you say you are specialized in sword techniques? Will you teach me how to use a sword, please? I would be very happy if you did."
As he asked, Aurora felt a strange emotion stir within her heart. It was her first time talking to the prince face-to-face. She had heard that the prince didn't like to talk to many people and preferred to stay inside his room researching his magic. As a warrior who gave much importance to the sword over magic, she couldn't understand why the prince loved to research magic so much.
"Lady Aurora, if you don't want to teach me sword techniques, that's fine. I can understand; after all, you are a general of an army, and you might be very busy. Then please excuse me."
Seeing her remain silent, Jack decided to play his victim card, offering a sad smile to Aurora before turning around to walk away.
But witnessing that sad smile tugged at something inside Aurora, compelling her to stop him. She was a prideful warrior, but for the first time in her life, she felt this kind of emotion.
"Aaaa!! Young Master, please stop. I will teach you sword techniques. Let me help you."
'Score! I knew no one could stay quiet after seeing my face. Wow, I am so lucky to have this handsome face, hahahahaha.'
