Chapter 17: Ch 16:Hashira's Meeting
We reach a run-down shack nearby from where we met earlier as Rui help me sit down.
"Rui get my bag please."I point to a bag in a corner.
After removing most of my upper clothes, I had him apply medicine that speeds up my recovery as my wound slowly closes due to the demon blood. I wrap some cohesive bandage around my body as it stops the bleeding.
I sigh as I leap on a wall and Rui packs my equipment away.
"Sorry, Onee-Chan..."Rui looks down as he sat across from me.
"Just what are you apologising for?"
"Pat pat."He looks up as I continue to gently pat his head.
"What are you crying for?"I giggle before he started crying.
"I- I thought you would be angry with me as I didn't protect you and-..."
"Rui."I firmly place my hand on his shoulder.
"It's the older sibling's job to take place of their younger sibling okay?"I remove my mask to meet his eyes.
"So don't go thinking that it was your fault because it isn't."
He hiccups between words before agreeing and hugging me.
"Ouch! Still haven't healed yet!"I had a pained closed eye grin.
"Right sorry..."
I pat his head before slowly getting up.
"I should go now Rui, make sure you leave before sunrise okay?"
"You're still injured!"He holds my hand before I could leave.
"I will be fine, after all, I still have other duties to attend to."
I change back into my demon slayer outfit, changing my hair and eyes back into my usual colour. I move my fingers through my hair to remove any knots.
"I will see you later Rui."I ruffle his hair before heading out for the demon slayer base.

The sun rays hit my face as I push open the gates to see the black-red male tied up and Nezuko's box held up by Shinazugawa Sanemi.
I creep up behind him, releasing a chill up everyone's spine as I place my right hand on his shoulder as I speak in a sweet tone, "Shinazugawa-san~Please don't do things you might regret."
The other Hashiras stood there sweating, they all know if I call them by their last name it means I am serious.
I was already on a first-name basis with everyone so calling them with their second name is a bit... Unsettling.
He turns to look at my mask covering up my death smile before releasing the box slowly onto the ground.
"Mm stabbing a young girl doesn't look good on you, you know?"I pat his shoulder.
"Hai hai if your done please go back in line."I whisper into his ear.
Everyone had a look of fear as they avoid my eye contact and stared at the ground.
The tied up male was just shocked at my ability to silence all of the Hashiras.
I hum as I stood next to Shinobu. The air just screams awkwardness as two female voices call out that Oyakata-sama has arrived.
We all got down into a bowing position as he looks at us.
"I see our Lava Hashira is back from the four years mission."He gently smiles at me.
"I am glad to be back."I warmly smile back at him.
"Now then for Tanjiro Kamado's case."He turns to look at the black to red hair boy.
He went on to ask us to accept Tanjiro and his sister but of course, most people objected to it.
'Hm, a demon that starved itself for 2 years?'I took a glance at the box on the ground.
"If you guys object to it why not see it for yourselves?"I spoke up after a few minutes of them arguing.
"With pleasure."Sanemi then cut himself and stab the box, letting his blood drip into the box.
"Shinazugawa, It's no good doing it the sunlight."
"We have to do it in the shadows, or the demon won't show its face."Obanai commented.
"Please forgive this discourtesy."
He then took the box into the shaded area to continue with the 'test'.
'I have to admit, his blood does smell good from here.'
Obanai had to restrict Tanjiro by elbowing his back.
"Go easy on him, would you?"
I place my attention back on Nezuko as she got out of the box, growling at the sight of Sanemi's blood.
"Nezuko!"
"Kamado-kun please be quiet, if not I have to shut you up myself."I glance at him before shutting my eyes close.
Nezuko just stood there, resisting the blood before rejecting it all together by turning her head away.
"There you have it, She didn't attack a human is that good enough for everyone?"I question them before Obanai releases his arm on Tanjiro's back.
They all had no choice but to agree to Oyakata-sama's request.
Tanjiro and Nezuko were taken away to be treated at the Butterfly estate as we stayed behind.
After we got briefed, Shinobu and I headed to the Butterfly estate to check up on Tanjiro and the others.
