Chapter 2: Bio
Name: David Mercer (formerly) Darius Blackburn (Currently)
Alias: Mad Scientist, Monster in humans clothing, the young master of the Blackburn family.
Personality: Darius is someone with an unbreakable will and a strong determination to improve himself. He sought power from a very young age due to his poor background and powerlessness as well as being abused by his father, whom he despised. Darius also hates spiders and other small insects.
He is cunning and scheming, constantly plotting against his enemies and those who he deems a threat. Darius also dislikes acting on emotions as he believes it would lead to people acting irrationally and prefers to act on logic. However, when backstabbed or angered, Darius's wrath can be dangerous as he killed the Chairman who betrayed him as well as his entire family.
Darius does not treat people rudely if there's no point in it. For example, he is polite to his servants and even treats commoners as equals but always keeps his guard up and never stops being cautious. Darius is not evil just for the sake of being evil.
He will be good if it benefits him more than being evil, but he does enjoy the feeling of having power and being superior to others and believes that those without strength will always be taken advantage of those with strength. He also knows when he makes a mistake and seeks to learn from them. An example would be when he was betrayed and realised that he was so busy with his experiments that he led his guard down. As a result, he always keeps his guard up.
Biography: David Mercer was the son Bert Mercer and an unknown woman. The mother walked out on him for unknown reasons, and Bert felt heartbroken and betrayed, taking his anger out on his son.
As a result, David despised his father and saw him as an idiot due to him wasting money just to buy booze and a waste of space. David was an ambitious young man and studied hard in order to become rich and gain power.
David was fascinated with science, mainly biology, and has a firm belief that immortality can be achieved through experimentations and pushing the limits of science and breaking the limits of the human body.
During his childhood, the teachers were shocked at his intelligence and maturity, describing him as an adult in a kids body. Eventually, he got into a good university and graduated with multiple PHDS. From then on, his journey to power began, doing numerous experiments and owning a large scientific company as well as building a positive image to the public and becoming one of the richest men in the world.
However, his experimentation was leaked to the public by one of his chairmen and, in response, killed him and his family. David knew he had no way out of this situation, and when he was cornered, he injected himself with an incomplete serum that was supposed to grant him superhuman powers but instead turned him into a mindless monster.
Eventually, he was killed by a nuke and was the first human being to be sent to the void as punishment. Any ordinary man would have been driven insane by the void and be mentally broken, but Mercer was no ordinary man. His unbreakable will and determination to escape were very strong, and above all else, he had no regret for his actions.
Mercer's soul strengthened as he unconsciously absorbed void energy, and eventually, he had done the impossible. He escaped the void and transmigrated in a new and advanced world with a burning desire for eternal life as he did not want to go back to that place where he was almost driven to insanity.
