Chapter 15: The Beginning Part 2
[There are 8 dying worlds]
Ace heard and saw a floating text in front of him.
The space was brightened up. Ace and his family members saw 8 planets with the same blue color as Earth, but with different sizes.
Ace wanted to move, but for some reason, he couldn't move. It made him panic and wanted to say something, but it also didn't work, 'So, we could only watch, huh.'
He could just hope Geo didn't panic because of it. He then saw a transparent conversation balloon symbol on the middle right of his vision, below his MP bar.
'It wasn't there before,' Ace said in his heart.
As he wanted to access it, it expanded a little and few names were there. He then saw Geo Nightglow's name. He then tried to say something.
But before that, a new scene was happening.
[To survive, they must combine their cores to create a new world]
The 8 planets then were integrating into a gigantic planet.
Ace was quite interested in the scene, but he wanted to talk to his son, so he tried to say something by thinking to converse with Geo. And it worked, <Geo, can you hear me?>
<Dad! Is that you?! What happened?! Why can't I move my body and couldn't talk? And how could I hear your voice in my head?> Geo said.
Ace then explained the conversation balloon symbol to him, and how he could do it. He also saw the word 'party' in the list. He guessed that it would make him able to talk to everyone at the same time.
<Just enjoy the show! We will talk again later,> Ace said.
<Ok,> Geo answered.
[However]
They then as if was pulled entering the planet. They saw a lush forest, a towering mountain, and a vast ocean.
[For their inhabitants, the creation of a new world is the sign of the start of a chaotic era]
Then they saw many wars between various races. There was a war between a human army and an orc army.
In another scene, An undead army was fighting with a beast-headed army.
There was also a battle between a winged-man group with demon-like people with bat wings on top of a desert.
[Elves, Dwarves, Gnomes, Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, and various races from the Asgard world]
They then saw some thin people with pointy ears in the village that was created between huge trees.
They also saw some short but robust people lived in the fortress on top of the mountain. In the next scene, many of them were mining the metal deposit with the anvils.
[Beastmen from Animagolia world]
Ace saw cat-headed people were farming in a valley. A group of dog-headed people was chasing a big deer.
There was also a horde of half-man half-horse creatures running in the prairie.
[Dragons, Giants, and Gigants from the Talas world]
They also saw many dragons that slept in their nests. a giant ape that was fighting against a giant wolf.
They also saw some gigantic creatures with heights of more than dozens to hundreds of meters.
[Various insects from Arco world]
They also saw many big insects from a meter to dozens of meters in length. Many of them made a colony with hundreds to tens of thousands of members. There were bees, ants, beetles, spiders, and many other kinds of insects.
When Geo saw the big spider, his eyes shone.
[Various shadows, ghosts, and undead from Underworld]
They also saw an army of skeleton soldiers and many ghosts were flying between them.
In an ancient castle, they saw many pale men and women had a dancing party. Then dozens of bats entered the room and transformed into a man.
[Angels and sacred beasts from Holy world]
They also saw many floating islands that were drifted by the wind. On top of them, they saw many griffons, pegasus, giant birds, and many more creatures residing on the islands.
In a tall building, an elder with 4 pairs of wings seemed like was teaching a group of young angels.
[Devils and Demons from Umbra world]
They also saw horned humanoids with red skin, bat wings, and tails. They also found many creatures like big dogs with three heads, giant serpents, and many more darkness creatures in the dark environment, where the magma river flowed under it.
[Humans from Terra world]
Then they saw fortified cities with various styles of architecture. Most of them were lively with their citizens' activities.
They also saw a fenced village with many children running around, farmers were in the fields, and some guards were patrolling.
[When every elite of each race strived for hegemony]
This time they saw many wars and battles between the same race or different ones.
A human city was under siege of an army of beastmen. The beastmen were trying to climb the stone wall, but falling stones and magic missiles rained them and made many of them fall down.
From inside of the city, several big stones were catapulted to the middle of the beastmen army. However, only very few of them successfully hit the beastmen. Some barriers repelled the big stones, even a stone exploded after being punched by a giant rhinoman.
[The weak ones must struggle to survive]
They also saw many tired-looking refugees walking on the thick snow.
And then some people who like slaves, as they wore collars and iron chains locking their feet. They were working in an underground mine. Some demons whipped them and shouted at them.
[Humans as the most feeble race in the new world are in turmoil]
They then saw many wars. The human's army was pushed by an undead army and then chaotically fleeing. Many bodies were left on the deserted battlefield.
Some robed skeletons then came and they were doing some rituals. The human soldier's bodies were raised and stood up.
[After dozens of kingdoms and empires met their demise in the competition for hegemony]
They then saw many cities and villages were burning or became ruins.
[Many of humans' kings and heroes were slain in the process]
They saw piles of corpses were in the big and dark room. Hundreds of ants were carrying a corpse from a hole at one of the earthen walls. One of the corpses in the pile was wearing a crown.
[Their people as the defeated and chased ones must migrate from their homes to find new places to start over again]
They then saw many people leave the burning city. Thousands to dozens of thousands of people were evacuating. Some injured armored soldiers were found among them. As for the healthy ones, they were assisting the people or guarding their rear.
[Their sages were saddened by their people's suffering came together and tried to find a solution]
Then they saw many elders who looked like scholars and magicians discussing something surrounding a big round table.
[They finally found a book that mentioned the ancient wisdom]
One of the elders then came into the room with an excited expression. He gave a leather-covered thin book to the one who seemed to be their leader.
[They then learned knowledge about the sanctuary and the guardian]
The elders then looked like they were studying the book.
[After knowing the methods to built sanctuaries and calling guardians, they started their quest to realize the last hopes of humanity's resurgence]
After that, each elder exited the room, and with lightning speed flew in all directions.
[Needed some years for humanity to build many sanctuaries]
An elder then came to a big building at the center of a human village. After putting a big green pearl onto a pedestal, a giant barrier was erected and covered the village. A very high light tower also appeared on top of the barrier until it pierced the cloud. It could be seen from far away.
[However, the amount of the sanctuaries are insufficient for all human survivors. they need powerful ones to protect the people, expand their settlements and save the scattered people who are still in the wilderness]
They then saw many monsters interested in the light tower. With sure steps, they go in the light tower's direction.
They also saw the refugees once more. But unlike before when they didn't have a destination, they were also attracted by the light tower. They then walked towards it with vigorous steps.
[So the sages were performing rituals to call the guardians]
The elder then did a ritual with many offerings such as precious looking armor, a pile of dirac coins, various weapons, shiny pieces of jewelry, delicious-looking foods, and many more attractive things.
[So, the era of the guardians begins]
Ace and the others then disappeared from the space.
