Chapter 80: Explanations (Leo)

When Julia falls asleep, I remove the chain.

I should have done this earlier, but she was a bit unstable. So, I kept the vain issues in store for later.

After hearing her story, I can't stay angry no matter how hard I try. Even that she wanted to leave me doesn't feel so horrible if I know her past.

After Julia was treated like that by her own people, I wouldn't have found it strange if she became crazy and hated the world. But she didn't: she's so strong.

A bit too independent for her own good, but trusting people isn't easy after being betrayed like that.

It's already evening, and I have to go back to the cells and make up some story to free her brother. It won't be easy to convince Amadeus, but he'll be less suspicious if he sees I'm involved.
