100% DESTINY...

Chapter 2: The Dream Ends

She entered the room quietly, thinking that he was lost in his thoughts looking out of the window. But she was wrong, he was on a call. He, not noticing her presence, continued his conversation. 'You just take the first flight and come to me. I am free after office. We can catch up PHYSICALLY.' With this concluding sentence, he smirked and disconnected the call and turned around. He was taken aback seeing her sitting there.

'What's up?' he asked casually, still engrossed in his mobile phone.

'Nothing much, just wanted to talk to you.' she replied hesitantly.

'Sure, go ahead. I am all ears.' absent mindedly he brushed passed her and she was left feeling blissful at that momentary touch.

'I had a dream last night, and I saw...' she stopped herself from revealing her dream to him. She looked at him and saw a thin smile spreading on his face. But the sad part was that he was not smiling at her words. He was still busy texting someone.

"What are so engrossed in dammit?" she bickered. "I am trying to say something to you. Could you please pay some attention to me for once?"

"What is it teddy? I am busy with someone much more important to me. One of my old acquaintances, she is visiting the town today and I am damn excited to meet her. Maybe I will get lucky today." His broad wicked smile said it all. She must be another of his many fancies. He would surely enjoy a wonderful night.

She got up the chair and swiftly moved towards the door out of the room before her tears spilt in front of him. Yet he was far from noticing her sadness. He was ignorant of her pain. He was lost in his world of shimmering beauties. He had always thought of her as just his silly friend. Hadn't he always called her Teddy? Yes! She was just a cute teddy for him. But little did he know the storming feelings in her heart for him. Little did he know what he was losing when she moved out of the room. He had no idea of her pain, or her love. He had always been so ignorant. He had only eyes of outer beauty.

So here went the inner true beauty out of yhe room, and probably out of his life once and for all. There had been many such instances before today that had broken her yet she had returned. Would she return again? Would she stand by him again when he would need a friend?
