Chapter 2: 2 Road to Hanwood High.
"In same forest near one of the oldest maple tree a men was heavily wounded. He was half leaning on the tree. He had some difficulty in breathing. Half of his body was covered in blood. Yet his pale face didn't show any emotion of pain. his red eyes were staring blankly toward darkness. His dark black hairs were covering his wounded for head. their were several other bodies were laying motionlessly around him. He was about to loose his consciousness when he saw some leafs fell from the tree due to strong wind. "Agh" he grunted in flustration and looked up but to his surprise the leafs stopped in mid air. The wind which was blowing also stopped. He forrowed his brows and tried to understand the situation but before he could understand he saw a silhouette of a weird creature. He blinked to see clearly. But soon he lost his consciousness and fell into deep slumber.
Leanna who was flying happily toward her destiny stopped when she saw a grup of hunters srounded a man. They had guns in there had and were aimed at him. She was shocked to see the man's appearance. He had dark red eyes and black hairs. His face was pale. He had a high bridge nose and perfect pair of pale lips. But what surprised her the most was those sharp fangs. The handsome man was a vampire. Leanna saw the whole scene when those hunters shot him. Leanna wanted to go help him but before she could react she saw the vampire man attacked them and in a blink of eye the grup of roughs were laying lifelessly on ground. Leanna changed into her normal size and walked toward the man with every step the air around her thickend and with a snap every thing freeze. she used her power to stop the time.
Leanna went forward and squated in front of the vampire man. She extended her hand and touched the man's forehead. The moment her fingers touched the man she shiverd. He was cold as ice. Leanna placed her hand and on man's forehead and closed her eyes. A golden light reflected from her palm and after a while the wound on the man's head was totally healed. Leanna opened her eyes and then touched his other wound with the same process all wounds were healed. She took another glanced on man's handsome face and sighed 'you better repay me in future. I don't do anything for free.' she mumbled and stood up. As if she thought of something. She bend again and this time she checked his pockets and found his wallet. She took out the money. 'How would you know that I was the one who helped you. So that's why I am taking this money with me as a repayment.' She said and left.
Soon enough leanna reached near bus station in Maria West . She was already in her human form. She took out the money she got from the man earlier and paid for the ticket to Hanwood high. There were several other youngsters like her holding there luggage. Leanna went to get some refreshments and then sat on one of empty table around the corner. She took out one of her book when someone sat opposite her. Leanna was slightly taken aback when she saw a girl sitting in front of her with a cheeky smile on her face. Her big innocent black eyes had galaxies into it. For a moment leanna was stunt to see the girl in front of her.
"You are also going to Hanwood high right?" the girl asked with her melo voice.
"Mm" Leanna replied subconsciously. In her whole life of 19 years this was the first time she was so near to any other being then matt. there was not a single person beside her all those years.
"Great!!" she squinted with joy and and forwarding her hand and said "I am Rehanna Steve. You can call me Anna. It's nice to meet you."
"..."
'Are people this easy to talk with' she thought for a moment. She hesitated before raising her hand to hand shake. "Leanna" she replied with a light nodd.
"..."
'Thats it' Rehanna blinked with her big innocent eyes. "Such a nice name" rehanna replied with a laugh. "By the way which year are you going to study and which department?"
Remembering Matt words Leanna replied."first year in Art's."
"Really!!! me too" Rehanna bimed with joy. "by the way are you introvert?"
"Introvert??" Leanna looked at her questionably.
"Don't tell me you don't know what introvert means." Reahanna asked with shocked expression.
"Mm"
"someone who don't like to interact with people."
"Maybe" Leanna shrugged her shoulders. "I never left my place before this is my first."
Rehanna looked at her with disbelief as if seeing an Alien. "Wah!! Unbelievable."
Before Rehanna could react they heard announcements "Buses toward Hanwood High are ready to depart."
"let's go" Rehanna said excitedly while dragging Leanna along. Soon the busses left toward mountains passing through the jungle. It was beautiful scenery. Especially for leanna who was seeing the the world outside of valeria for the first time.
All these years she read books about outside world and also Matt told her about everything. He also told her that Hanwood high is well known University throughout the country. Not just because of there prestigious but also results. But there is still something that nobody knows about that place is that place is a home for vampires.
