Chapter 2: Destruction and Creation
G. Chapter 02
"What happened? What happened with the Supreme God? Did he succeed in winning against the Origin Core?
What's with this destruction?
There are no records in any ancient books that said everyone in the universe will be affected because of fighting the Origin Core ", One of the few True Gods asked nervously.
" No, the Supreme God hasn't succeeded. I don't know what happened. But I think the Supreme God is dead.", the second True God said with a solemn expression.
"How can you say that?", the third True God asked him with some doubt.
" Try to feel it. The Origin Core is absorbing energy from the Gods Realm. I think before his death, the Supreme God managed to seriously damage the Origin Core.", the second True God replied.
" Damaging the Origin Core! The Supreme God, indeed. Sigh, It's a waste. A great character like him had to die from failure", the fourth True God sighed.
"What do you say? Can we attack the Origin Core now? It is damaged.
It's a chance for one of us to reach the next realm", The fourth True God asked again enthusiastically.
"Do you want to court death? Even if the Origin Core is damaged we won't stand a chance against it.
And who among us will be going to enjoy the benefits?", the second True God replied.
"Yes,yes. Who among us is going to sacrifice their life for some other person to reap the benefits. And help them to reach the next realm", the fourth True God said as she curled her lips.
"Well, even if he only managed to fight for a few moments with the Origin Core, I think he damaged the Origin Core more than the previous challengers", the third True God said as he felt the changes in the God Realm. He can make a guess that the changes in the God Realm this time are more severe than previous times.
" A single Origin Core is this fierce. There are other Universes and other Origin Cores. How much time would it take to conquer all of them?", the fourth True God said with an exasperated expression.
" Nah. I don't think you need to defeat all of them. Defeating a single Origin Core should be enough", the first True God who was silent spoke.
" I think the Supreme God overestimated himself. He just disappeared for a few thousand years and thought that he could defeat the Origin Core during his next appearance?
I would have prepared billions of years before fighting against the Origin Core", said the fourth True God.
" Whatever! Now we became the victims of his challenge.
The Magic energy is decreasing slowly. The Origin Core is absorbing energy from the universe to repair itself.
Our progress in cultivation is dealt with a huge blow this time", the third True God said with a gloomy expression.
" I don't think the after effects of this battle will be this simple", the second True God suddenly said with a serious expression.
"Are you worrying that the Demon Gods and the Evil Gods will take revenge since the Supreme God is dead?", the first True God asked him.
"Those crazy Gods can do that. Rather than trying to calm the situation, they might really wage a war on us!", the fourth True God spoke with contempt.
"No that's not it. It's a weird alarming feeling", the second True God said as he frowned.
"What more do you think will happen?", the first True God asked with an uneasy expression.
" I.. I don't know. I can't guess. But I am feeling this unknown restlessness. And I can't get to the source of it", the second True God said with a dark face.
" I think we need to take this seriously. You are stronger than all of us, if you feel restlessness about something unknown, I think the matter isn't simple", the third True God spoke with a worried expression.
"I think I should always keep my special artifact with me from now on. I need to be prepared for this unknown danger", the second True God declared.
"You even want to use your special artifact? Is it really that serious?", the fourth True God asked with a doubt.
"Yes, is it that serious?", the other True Gods asked him.
"Even during the worst near death situations in my life, I never felt this alarmed. I am getting frightened with just this alarm", the second True God said with a dead serious expression in his face.
"Gulp", other True Gods are scared after listening to the second True God.
"Hah. I don't know how my granddaughter will react when she knows that the Supreme God is dead", the second True God sighed as he tried to change the topic.
"Yes. I forgot that little girl is a crazy admirer of the Supreme God. You need to keep this a secret from her", the fourth True God replied to him.
"The changes happening will become too obvious after some time. She will know about his death sooner or later.
She used to hang on to me and request me, to take her to meet him.
'Sigh' It will be a huge blow for her young heart. I think she will be heartbroken and cry a lot. I should inform her mother to look after her closely these days.", the second True God shook his head.
"Yes, his death will affect the mood and emotions of many people.", the fourth True God spoke.
" But first we need to be vigilant and keep a watch on the movements of those Demon Gods and Evil Gods", the third True God said seriously.
Everyone nodded upon his reminder.

Just a million years later_
During these million years, four great wars are fought between Human Gods and the Demon & Evil Gods.
And many more battles between Humans and Beasts.
But now..
Everywhere, there's destruction. The universe is on the brink of extinction.
A touch and the Space is collapsing.
There are portals at every corner, Time is distorting back and forth.
Most of the Low energy worlds are destroyed. Countless beings lost their lives.
People of High energy worlds and God's Realm are trying to figure out a way to escape.
In a certain palace. This location is still unaffected, but no, it's not safe here.
Everything is collapsing around this palace. At any moment the palace will be affected.
Inside a secret room.
"Grandfather, I want to fight. Even if the enemies are invisible I still want to fight.
Grandfather, Please don't stop me. There are innocent people dying without knowing the reason. You can't ask me to hide in this situation!", A young looking woman is shouting at a middle aged man in the secret room.
" Listen to me. Don't let your emotions go wild, you are not a little girl anymore.
What's happening is something you can't deal with.
Now listen to me and follow your father and mother", The middle aged man scolded her. His eyes are red with tears.
"Grandfather..
Grandfather, then what about you? Why aren't you coming with us?", the young woman hugged her grandfather and cried.
" Don't worry I will come.
I need to meet my friends, you see. They are my good friends. They need me more than you guys now.
So enter this artifact first and stay with your father and mother,okay", the middle aged man patted her head.
The young woman nodded. Tears are running from her eyes. She bit her lips, hesitated, in the end entered the artifact.
Everything turned dark.
"Father? Mother?", She shouted.
Outside.
After the young woman entered the artifact,
" They call him the Supreme God. His extraordinary feats, bravery and benevolence are recorded in the history books.
But isn't he the cause of all these destruction? Isn't he the cause of the extinction? Isn't he the Supreme Devil?", the middle aged man cursed and gritted his teeth.
He called his friends and the parents of the young woman. At least he wants to save his granddaughter.

It took thousands of years for everything to be destroyed. That Universe is no more.
And,
It's going to take innumerable years for the new Creation to be completed.
And then,
The beginning of a new Universe.
