Chapter 39: Rating Game
A/N: The poll results for the new harem members will be posted on the 17th, so until then the voting is open.

A skip in my step I made my ways towards school. I also have huge grin on my face.
Why you ask?
Because today is the day.
The coveted day I have been waiting for.
The day of the Rating game between Rias and Riser. With special guest start Issei, the Chichiryutei making his first appearance ever on the supernatural world stage.
Ah, I can already feel the laughs building up inside me.
This is a most joyous occasion.
But on another note, Xenovia and Irina have been good and respectful little houseguests.
They haven't tried to make contact with the devils, and Irina has even been sending false reports back to the church on the their progress, since Xenovia can't lie worth crap.
It's a charade that can go on for a while. They did only send two exorcists after the fragments which are in the hands of a Cadre-class fallen angel that survived the great war. Of course it's going to take a while for them to get them back.
And since the church and heaven definitely aren't sending anybody else, my plan is still actionable.
I have also been making progress with Xenovia.
Although she gives giving me that murderous glare at times that makes me want to tie her up and turn her into my pet, she's starting to break out of the churches doctrine of "every other supernatural but angel's are evil" bit by bit.
Irina is actually the one that is getting along with us without too much trouble. But then again she grew up as a normal human for quite some time before she started her exorcist training. She also has a parents who love her and take care of her, unlike Xenovia who was raised by the church her entire life.
Her legal guardian being Griselda, one of the top five female exorcist didn't do her any favors in learning about normal human society either.
However we all slowly been corrupting her.
Jeanne is actually the one who has been taking the lead on Irina and Xenovia.
The day she returned home from school those two recognized her and said some choice words. Basically it was something akin to what they told Asia in canon. They called Jeanne a traitor, and a heretic.
They didn't realize it at the time, but they done fucked up.
Jeanne didn't say anything back to them. She simply put a smile on her face, that got bigger and bigger as Xenovia and Irina continued badmouthing her.
Seeing that I got a shiver down my spine, along with everyone else. We had never seen Jeanne smile like that before, so we knew Jeannemaggedon was on its ways.
As soon as Irina and Xenovia finished saying their peace Jeanne had them sitting on their hands and knees as she dressed them down like grade schooler's who were fighting in class.
It went on for six hours straight then.
Then after it was over she asked me to give them back their Excalibur's so she could take them to one of the training rooms for "combat training". Which we all knew meant she was going to beat the shit out of them.
I simply prayed for their survival and did as Jeanne asked. I did not want to be the target of the beast those two had awakened. So siree.
After Jeanne dragged those two into one of the training rooms, it went on all night.
When they came out in the morning Jeanne was glowing, meaning Irina and Xenoiva looked liked the hidden porn mags in a teenage boys room. Worn out, bruised and batter, and covered in bodily fluids in every inch and crevasse.
Though thankfully they were still alive.
Needless to say after that they apologized to Jeanne, and they even started calling her mistress.
That really turned me on.
Lancelot even admitted it turned him on as well. He also told me he wanted Jeanne to step on him with a cold look on her face, but I decided not to comment.
Anyway, this has what's been happening the last few days.
But now its time for the main event!

I had a smile on my face all day while class was going on.
The boys cursed me because all the girls found it charming but I ignored their cries. Nothing could ruin my mood.
Before I knew it the school day ended.
Then once a few hours passed my group arrived back at the academy for the rating game.
Minus Jeanne and Lancelot of course. They were back at the mansion keeping an eye on Xenovia and Irina. I also asked Chess to stay behind to keep an eye on them all.
Over the last few days Jeanne has begun her awakening as a sadist.
I am so proud I actually cried a few tears.
Meanwhile Lancelot started to awaken as a masochist. Whatever floats his boat.
Though thankfully unlike a certain Fallen Angel hybrid he only lets is show in the bedroom.
Either way if those two are going at it I need someone to keep the peace, and Chess volunteered.
She really is the ultimate maid.
Moving on, the rest of us arrived at the school gates. When we did we saw Tsubaki waiting for us.
"Please, follow me." She said.
Which is exactly what we did.
She ended up taking us to a viewing room in a secluded part of the school. When we arrived the rest of Sona's peerage was there was well.
Tsubkai pointed to a couch with several chairs around it. "Your seats." She told us.
"Why thank you." I said.
We all then went to our seats and sat down. I took the couch with Morgan and Valerie, while everyone else sat in a chair.
Momo came over to us after we sat down. "Tea?" She asked.
"No thank you." I said. I then reached into a dimensional storage space and pulled out a bottle filled with red liquid. "I brought my own."
"Is that wine?" Momo asked me.
"No, no, it's blood." I said, popping the top of the bottle. "A negative blood to be precise, my favorite." I summoned a few glasses, and placed them on the table in front of us, then I poured myself a drink.
Growing up I learned that each vampire had different preferences for the type of blood they liked to drink. Because to us blood has different tastes. The blood of other supernatural creatures is bliss for all those of vampiric origin, and the rarer and stronger it is the better.
That's why Gasper and Emihilde drank Issei's blood like crack-cocaine in the series. The same rule applies to human blood, and A negative blood taste the best to me.
Coincidentally that was also my blood type back in my last life.
Taking my glass I took a big whiff, my appearance changing to my vampire form on reflex. Moving the glass away from my nose I looked at the others. "Would anybody else like some?"
"I would." Dominque said.
"No thank you." Valerie said.
I poured Dominque a glass, just as the screen came to life and Grafiya started speaking.
"Greetings to you all. My name is Grafiya Lucifuge, a maid of the Gremory house and the officiator of this rating game between Rias Gremory and Riser Phenex." She explained.
Right after she did Sona came over to me. "So, how do you think it will go?"
"Just like you think. Rias will lose." I said.
Sona frowned at that, and sighed. Understandable since Rias is her childhood friend. But that's the reality of things.
I don't hate Rias. Not at all, I just find her so horribly pathetic it's not even funny. Because of her pride she doesn't train. I know most pure-blood devil's don't train, but still. She knew this was coming and instead of shedding some blood, sweat, and tears she played around in the human world.
Sona is in the same position she is. An heiress and a young sister of a Satan, but Sona actually puts in the time to train herself and her peerage. I've noticed them doing it at night in the forest a couple of times.
So, please don't say some crap like its impossible, Rias is just too lazy.
She's also got the personality of a smotherer.
Her peerage could wreck Riser's ass in under five minutes, but because she keeps them in a bubble they can barely do anything against this low-grade peerage they are about to fight.
I know trauma isn't any easy thing to get over, but Rias doesn't even try to help her peerage member's deal with it. Just look at them. Akeno is a self-loathing manhater who hasn't spoken to her father in years.
I plan to fix that myself though, however my point still stands.
Kiba wears a fake smile all the time, but really all he has on his brain is revenge against Excalibur, which is hindering his growth big time. Then there is Gasper, who died after escaping the hell hole that he was born and raised in. He became a shut-in, and was sealed away all because he had power he couldn't control. Which I am sure traumatized him even further. Yet, Rias doesn't even try to push him to overcome his fears.
Koneko would have ended up being afraid of her own power if I hadn't changed certain events and she hadn't been help to understand Senjutsu by the yokai sent to check up on her.
I heard that one of them was Magiri, so now I know how Koneko learned Senjutsu so easily.
Then there is Issei. Actually out of all of Rias's peerage members he is the most normal of all. Along with Asia.
But I think I made my point.
Rias is a terrible leader, and now she is about to suffer the consequences for it.
Sona said nothing more and returned to her seat.
As soon as she did the video screen changed to the battleground, a replica of Kuoh Academy.
When it did Grafiya explained the rules of the rating game. She then said each group had five minutes to plan their strategy before signing off.
The moment she did Riser opened the thing he calls a mouth.
"Lovely Rias, you should just give up. Even with the extra time to train, you are still no match for me. So stop being so stubborn, and come back to the underworld and marry Riser as planned." Riser spoke over the speakers.
"What a horribly disgusting man." Morgan mused. "Shall I make him impotent? I have been working on a potion for that."
I was about to say "Hell yes!" but then I saw Sona glaring at me out of the corner of my eye and my mouth.
I then looked at Morgan. "We will talk about it later." I told her.
I heard Sona cry out but chose to ignore it.
Instead I focused on the screen, which at the moment is showing us both teams in their home bases.
Rias has a pissed off look on her face at Riser's words. But too my surprise she didn't respond. Instead she put a really smug look on her face.
I have no idea why though. I don't see Gasper anywhere, meaning he's not participating. And even if he was that guy doesn't have enough confidence at the moment to do anything but support. So really even if he was in the game, the outcome wouldn't change.
But I guess we're about to find out.
The five minutes came and went in an instant.
"The Rating Game will now commence." Grafiya said over the speakers.
As soon as she did Akeno changed into her super-sexy Miko outfit, spread her devil wings and took to the sky.
Meanwhile Koneko grew out her cat ears and tail, and left the base with Issei, while Kiba left on his own.
Asia stayed with Rias.
Arriving at the gym Issei and Koneko entered. There they were immediately confronted by Riser's pawns Mira, and the twins with chainsaws Ile and Nel. As well as his Chinese dressed rook Xuelan.
"We will not let you go any further!" Mira shouted, raising her staff in the air. She then charged at Issei along with Xuelan, while Ile and Nel went after Koneko.
Not wasting any time at all Koneko dodge Ile and Nel's attacks like they were nothing at all. Then when she saw an opening she used a senjustu infused punch on Ile, sending her flying into the gym wall. Following that she formed flames in her right hand and threw a fireball at Nel, her attack landing.
Which caused both the twins to instantly retire.
"Two of Risers pawns have been retired." The system announced.
I let out a low whistle. Koneko took those two down with minimal effort. Maybe I am wrong, maybe these guys can pull of a win?
We'll see.
Moving on, Issei dodged Mira's staff strikes. But Xuelan appeared behind him with her staff and smashed him across the back.
Even so he stood his ground. He then closed the distance on Mira, and dodged a staff strike grabbing her clothes. He then got a perverted grin on his faace.
"Dress Break!" Issei shouted.
That's when all of Mira's closes disappeared.
And I fell on the ground, laughing my ass off.
"Hahaha! Oh man, that's too much! Hahaha! Red dragon, more like oppai dragon!" I said in between laughs, throwing out Issei's future nickname.
While I was rolling on the floor, Mira retired and Issei managed to use Dress Beak once more on Xuelan, causing the laughter to continue.
The rest of my group was laughing as well Morgan just as hard as me since she too is a pervert and a person of culture.
As for Dominque and Valerie, they were looking at Issei with dead eyes. The same with Sona's group.
Except for Saji, he was clench his fists and crying tears of blood.
He is a man after all. And that skill would be something any man would want to possess.
Though not me. I love breaking down a girl to get her out of her clothes. That's what get my rocks off.
Anyway, I finally stopped laughing after five more minutes. I got up just in time to see Akeno shocked as Yubelluna used Phenex Tears to heal all her damage.
Which reminds me, the devil's still haven't sent over my vial of Phenex Tears. Fucking cheapskates. I guess I will go pay Riser and Ravel a personal visit after the game to get my tears. I'm sure my old pal Riser would love to see me.
Anyway, Akeno fell.
Then Yubelluna took out attacked Kiba who had joined up with Koneko and Issei after taking out a whole bunch if Riser's peerage.
In the end Yubelluna got Kiba. Then she poured on her assault. However Isse and Koneko managed to defeat her, when Issei unleashed a powerful Dragon Shot, and Koneko used her fire.
However that was short lived when Rias decided to head out with Asia, right towards Riser base.
I facepalmed, as did the rest of my group, Sona following us.
The rest of the game basically played out the same from canon.
Riser trounced Rias.
"The Rating Game is over. The winner is Riser Phenex." Grafiya announced.
Then the screen went dead.
As soon as it did my group got up and started to leave.
I just came here for some good laughs anyway, and it did not disappoint.
We started to leave. When all of a sudden Grafiya appeared before us.
"Yes, Ms. Grafiya, may we help you?" I asked her.
"No." She said. She then then conjured a spell circle and a box appeared in her hand. She then handed it to me. "This is the vial of Phenex Tears as promised. Lady Sona informed me you were coming here tonight and I thought it prudent to hand this over to you in person."
"Thank you." I said. I then put the box away in my own dimensional storage space. "Now goodbye. "I said.
We then continued on our way and headed back home.
One more thing, I was wrong before.
That wasn't the main event, that was just the opener.
Our battle against Kokabiel is the real headliner.
And I'm ready to fight.
