Even just when my mother gave birth to me, death has begun to chase me. Thinking how unfair our world is to me, I wanna live yet its people want me dead. Funny, right?
My head was spinning but I tried to resist it. I won't let them catch me this time, I still want to live! I still want to live, not for anyone else's but for me. The Queen wants me dead, the Queen even ordered her soldiers to keep on torturing me but then I escape! And now I am on the run and they are chasing me.
I can still remember Mom's cold stares. I can't remember when my mom stares at me with pure love, she only accidentally stares at me with cold stares and usually with disgust.
"You look exactly like your demon father."said the Queen while her hand was sparkling with flames since she was about to attack me with her power. I just cried and begged her not to kill me. I begged, and beg, and begged, and begged until I passed out.
My headache because of the countless hits I've received from the soldiers who were hitting me with a metal. I could no longer feel my arms nor my hands as the blood kept on dripping from my deep wounds due to stabbings and gunshots. I am still considered lucky because I am still alive despite all my wounds.
My vision is starting to get blurry, my movements are slowing down. I trip and I could not even prevent myself from kissing the soil because my arms and hands are now feeling numb. I just closed my eyes as the pain I've got from falling and from being impaled by the sharp stick in the shoulder as I landed on the soil, luckily not on my face, my shoulder was penetrated that the end of the stick can be seen at my back.
I cried and pitied myself, I didn't even have friends and even my own mother wanted to kill me. I shook my head as I lost my hope from escaping, especially now that I am impaled in this tree and my body is feeling numb and weak.
Tears rolled down my cheeks, my heart ache thinking that I am all alone in this world. No one cares for me...only I wanted myself to live.
My breath became uneven and my head was spinning and so was my vision. I just want this to end, but for all I know once I wake up, all these wounds would just disappear as if it did not happen, which is what I prayed but no. I even wish for my memories to be erased but only my wounds are disappearing and my memories are being embedded within my mind.
I was chasing my breath as I sat up in my bed after waking up from a bad dream. It feels so real! Even the pain feels so real too! What the fuck?
What was that dream all about? I haven't dreamt about death before! Am I dying? Ahh! That scares the shit out of me! I am so sure that I cannot go back to sleep now!
I touched my cheek because I felt that it was wet. I frowned and stared at my palms stained with wetness from my tears. Okay, what the hell happened?
Morning came and Ella immediately noticed the black circle under my eyes which I just reasoned that I studied for the test we are having today, which is half true. But Ella seemed to believe my excuse and did not ask any more questions.
"Heyy! Zeia! There's a duel happening in the field! It's section C vs section A! I don't know what happened but I think one of Draxxi's nerve just snap!"Ella suddenly dragged me towards the field even though I haven't agree to come.
But---
"Section A? That's impossible! Section A won't even touch a strand of our hai---"
"I don't know too, Zeia, that is exactly why we are going, right?"she said so I just nodded and thought about what was actually happening.
Draxxi Prats is a water manipulator while the Unknown Person, I think he or she is a force-field since she or he's one of the Cs.
Surely that person's ability will exceed C since Draxxi has noticed him or her. Hmm, I must support that unknown person to beat that bitchy Draxxi? But just kidding! I won't be biased!
"GO PETUNIA!"I couldn't help but to shout at the unknown woman from section C(only heard her name from the crowd)
Their surroundings are now ruined, but thanks to Ellioth who is protecting everyone from being accidentally attacked by one of their attacks. Looks like Prats is not irritated with Petunia Wolf. Petunia's ability is powerful! Cannot believe that a spatial ability can be used to attack! Petunia is powerful enough to stop Draxxi's attacks. It was so obvious that Draxxi is now losing and I can clearly see how tired she is. She is not hurt, since she's actually strong, it is just Petunia is stronger than her. All I can say now is that Section A would be humiliated today! There are lots of spatial manipulators in our school but this one is one of a kind! Her ability is miles miles away from us.
For the first time in our Academy's history! Looks like some of the section As are now nervous especially with those whisperings everywhere. I cannot see some of the section A, must be not interested with Draxxi's tantrum huh? And I cannot see Flame so maybe that is why they are being like that? Bragging everything and ended up being humiliated! Take that section A!
But pfft! Draxxi's water manipulation is useless to Petunia's spatial manipulation. Every time Draxxi attacked it was just being blocked by Petunia's portal that even a single drop of water wasn't touching the field! To our surprise she is receiving every attack that Draxxi throws against her! Wow! Just wow! It takes a lot of mana to receive just a bit of attack from one of the section A students! But for all we know section A surpasses us all that they can even be compared to the Knights of Acardia!
But surely, if it was me or another spatial manipulator just one attack from Draxxi we'd be unconscious already. Looks like Petunia is also skilled in hand to hand combat. Every attack that Petunia throws against Draxxi, you cannot see even a single emotion in her eyes except boredom. Looks like Draxxi is running out of mana and strength but if you look at Petunia right now, it looks like she's just enjoying this and she's just playing with a kid! Wow.
Petunia is a newcomer so we do not exactly know what she cannot do or what she can do. It seems Draxxi is weak in everyone's eyes right now but for me it looks like Draxxi is just out of control due to her anger. Draxxi is thinking of her every move but it is just that she's angry and cannot think of anything but to win this match. In fact, Draxxi is a very powerful student because otherwise she would already lose this match, she's just irritated while on the other hand, Petunia is very chill and in control of her ability.
"Psh, we are just wasting our time here."After that, Petunia released all the water that Draxxi was throwing against her earlier! Okay so that is where she's hiding the waters!
Now Draxxi almost drowned and now drenched. I gasp and look at Ella who is also looking at me with awe.

(Hi! Just to be clear, llave is a spanish for key and they called their ability llave since they think that this is the key for their sufferings. But of course everyone has llave but not anyone has a higher amount of mana and in controlled of their ability, there are some like Ella who cannot even control her ability and keeps on failing)
"Damn we must watch out for that girl!"a student exclaimed.
"She's better than the top hero Draxxi Prats! How come she's at section C? is this a joke?"her friend.
"I do not know either."her friend shrugged.
"Will you be silent now or you'd be silent forever?'' We were all stunned after hearing that voice---the authoritative voice of Rage Veron, the top six hero of Acardia Academy.
Arrogant, psh.
"So-sorry, Young Master!"I raised an eyebrow as she apologized but I did not say a word because I do not even have the power nor the ability to fight with the top heroes.
I am just a healer and I can say that I am also unskilled! I am stupid, ugh truth hurts so much. We were silent as we left the field.
"Penelope."I turned as I heard the name and my heart pounded, weird.
I frowned and averted my eyes since I don't even know why I turned around, eh, I wasn't even the one they called. I am Alezia Cohen, not Penelope...ugh I am getting weird these days.
But it is just weird because it feels so normal for me to turn around whenever I hear them calling Penelope. I would just turn to them. My eyebrows kept on touching each other since I am frowning so much as we leave while Ella is irritated because of section A.
"Ugh! They're so arrogant! Dios mio! I am telling them once I mastered this ability of mine, I would hit them one by one--except Terron, of course hehe."Ella.
"Stupida, as if they won't feel your presence."I laughed and put my thoughts aside.
"Ugh, you are so right there, Zeia, especially that creepy Rage? Ugh!"
*school bell rang*
We immediately left and entered our next class. Ella and I were the first ones to arrive in the classroom since it seems like our classmates couldn't still get over the match.
"Ha! What happened earlier will surely resonate throughout the academy! Class C has defeated the almighty class A! Ha! Serves them right!''Ella.
Surely, they will immediately transfer Petunia to Section A since this happened and they won't escape from this without being questioned by the students. But why is Petunia in class C and not class B? Yes she is a spatial manipulator but why is she in the C? There is an entrance exam so surely they have already seen her capabilities! just why...
