Chapter 53: Chapter 52
Yami's sword got covered in darkness as he looked at Elden slashed towards him. A slash of darkness went towards Elden.
Elden teleported out the way and appeared in front of Yami. He had already drawn his blade.
Yami used enhancement magic to dodge the attack after sensing it with Ki.
Cloaking his blade in darkness he slashed towards Elden.
Elden teleported as Yami switched his direction and slashed yo his right.
A slash of darkness went straight towards Eldens position.
* slash *
Yami watched as his attack slashed through a rock.
He looked to his left as he senses Elden there.
* bam *
He slammed into the ground as he bounced off of it. He quickly regained balance as saw a bunch of swords flying towards him.
They were ethereal as they glowed.
'Magic constructs. ' Yamis thought.
' Avidya slash '
He quickly slashed through each of the swords as Elden appeared in front of him with his right fist held back.
' Black cocoon. '
Darkness started seeping out of Yami as they formed a barrier in front of him to stop the punch.
* shatter *
* wham *
The spell didn't stop the punch though as Elden's fist went straight through the cocoon.
Elden's fist landed straight into Yami's gut as he was sent flying back. He slammed straight through multiple rocks.
Digging his feet into the ground, Yami stopped as spat out some blood.
' Damn that bastard has a strong punch. ' Yami thought while grinning.
Getting up he activated his Ki and mana sensing to the limit.
Elden rushed towards him. Yami coated his blade in dark magic as he rushed towards Elden.
Yami slashed down with an overhead strike. Elden saw this and dodged.
He aimed a punch straight to Yamis head which blocked with his sword.
Yami then slashed towards Elden's neck as Elden dodged. He then steeped his leg towards Yamis.
Yami saw this and jumped avoiding the sweep. Elden teleported to his side and kicked him in the face.
Yami got sent rocketing back. He quickly coated his blade in magic and slashed towards Elden.
Elden saw the slash raised his left hand.
' Crush. '
As the slash made contact with his hand, Elden clenched his fist as his magic seeped into the attack and broke it apart.
Yami saw this and grinned.
Elden grabbed his sword and added spatial magic to it.
He then slashed rapidly as he sheathed his sword.
Yami sensed the attacks and cloaked his sword in darkness.
' Avidya wild slash. '
Matching Eldens slashes he quickly slashed towards them, canceling them out.
Yami looked at Elden who was watching him.
' His magic is quite annoying. Not to mention his strength is off the charts. His magic alone is making it hard for me to keep up. Guess I have no choice but to use that. ' Yami said as he grinned.
Elden watched him as he looked at Yami's grin. He grinned as well.
' He's got something up his sleeve. You should have improved as well Yami. Let's see what you got. '
Yamis mana exploded out of him as darkness started wrapping around his body. Elden stared in awe as Yami powered up.
The spectators watched as Yami powered up. Asta even though he couldn't send magic could tell something awesome was about to happen.
Yami finally powered up as m everyone looked at him. He was covered in dark armor that started from his neck to the rest of his body.
" Demonic armor. " Yami muttered.
Elden could feel his grin widening as Yami looked at him with the same grin.
Yami disappeared from his position and slashed downwards as he was already above Elden.
Elden teleported away and aimed a kick at Yami's head. Yami ducked under the kick and sent a strike towards Elden's leg.
His sword went straight through Elden as Epdne twisted in the air and aimed a kick down onto Yami's head.
Yami quickly dodged as he jumped back.
* boom *
Elden's kick broke the ground leaving a crater.
Yami quickly rushed towards him as appeared in front of him, slashing towards his midsection.
* clank *
Elden blocked the attack after enhancing himself by absorbing spatial energy.
Pushing the sword away, Edlen slashed back and was meet with Yami's blade. Sparks started flying as these 2 ran across the battlefield.
Along the way, Elden kicks up rocks into the air which Yami doesn't notice.
' Avidya slash ' Yami thought as he cloaked his sword in darkness.
Yami went in for strike as he aimed for Elden's shoulder.
As his sword was about to reach Elden it stopped right in front of him. Elden pushed his hand out as Yami was sent flying back.
He corrected himself as he stood on the ground. Yami then looked up as he saw multiple rocks coming towards him at a fast pace.
'Avidya wild slash. '
Yami slashed widely as he cut through all the rocks that come towards him. However..
" Raging tiger. " Elden muttered.
Elden slashed his sword towards Yami.
* boom *
Yami was sent flying back with parts of his armor ripped off. The mountains behind broke into pieces as Yami flew through the holes.
Elden waited as Yami got up and was breathing heavily.
'What the fuck was that? I'll have to ask after the fight. ' Yami thought.
Elden covered his sword in spatial energy as he appears in front of Yami.
Yami didn't back down as his armor returned to normal.
' Avidya slash. '
* boom *
Their clash broke the ground beneath them. Elden thinking quickly let of his sword. He then grabbed Yami and flipped him over before kicking him away.
Yami quickly regained balance as he looked in his hands to see his blade gone. Elden stored the blade as he rushed towards Yami.
Clicking his tongue, Yami rushed forward as well to meet for a fistfight.
* boom *
* boom. *
* boom *
* boom *
Elden and Yami exchanged blows as Yamis's demonic armor allowed him to keep up with Elden.
' He's running low on mana. He can't hold that spell for much longer. Time to destroy it. '
Yami went in for a punch to Elden's face which he avoided. He ducked under the punch and placed his hand on Yami's chest.
" Crush. " Elden said.
Yami widened his eyes as his amour got blown to bits. He looked at Elden who was doing just fine as Elden grabbed his shirt and threw him over his shoulder.
Yami flew and landed on his back as he breathed in heavily.
Elden came next to him and placed his sword at Yami's neck.
" I win. "
