Chapter 3: UNKNOW
Location: Latco kingdom, Emperor land / DELTON'S MANSION.
THE THIRD-PERSON OMNISCIENT POINT OF VIEW
"Wake up ugly thing, ugly thing!!!" Celine, Diana's stepmother yelled as empty a bucket of dirty water all over Diana on the cold floor where she had spent the night.
Celine and Daisy threw Diana out yesterday immediately after she passed out.
Diana stood up weakly as her cloth dripped from the water Celine poured on her.
"Good morning, Celine. "Diana said while picking up her fingers.
"Fool girl, how dare you delay the breakfast!! are you Nut? I give you thirty minutes to prepare breakfast and tidy up the whole mansion. "Celine yelled sending her a deadly glare.
"Okay, Ma'am. "Diana replied while trying to hold herself from shaking from the cold. This makes Daisy and her mother laughed.
"What are you waiting for, fool? twenty-five minutes left!!" Daisy yelled while Celine glared at her angrily.
Diana immediately rushed into the house, while she was trying not to limp from all the wounds on her legs. She ignore the pain and rushed toward the kitchen.
She washed her hand and started preparing the meal and tidying up at the same time.
After what took like forever, she was done, she arranged everything on the table for them before rushing to the sitting room to inform them.
She enters the sitting room and stares at her stepmother who is sitting gracefully on the couch, flipping through a news papperin her hand, with a glass of a wine.
Celine ignored Diana's presence and continue reading without taking her gaze from the newspaper she was reading.
"Your food is ready, Mum. "She called her attention.
"Don't ever call me that, fool!! I am not your mother, and I can never be a mother to an ugly and worthless child like you!!" Celine yelled in fury as she empty the glass of the wine she was holding on Diana's face.
"I am sorry, Celine. "She muttered, shifting back in fear.
"So, foolish girl, you are twenty minutes late!!" She said looking at Diana in anger.
"How dare you delay my meal!!" Celine added in fury.
"I am sorry. "Diana muttered, picking up her fingers
"Hope it is not a poison like the one you make last night?" She asked and Diana nodded her head in response.
Diana knew that it was Daisy that added more salt to the food she made last night, but she dare say it out.
"Leave my sight, you stink. "Celine said holding her nose
She left the sitting room immediately, walking through the passage that led to her room. She entered her small room and smile sadly.
She remembers when she use to sleep in the most beautiful
and biggest room. Well, that's then when her father was stand and healthy,
But now, she is sleeping in the smallest store in the mansion,
yes, the smallest store where the cleaner kept their working instruments. The dark store behind the staircase is now her new room.
A dark store without a window, air conditioning ( AC), or fan.
She remove her clothe and walked into the bathroom. Minutes later, she returned back with a blue robe around her body, with water dripping from her head.
She walked toward a small bag in the room and brought out some herbs and started to apply them on her wounds before dressing up in a pair of black baggy gean pants and a blue worn-out baggy top.
She packed her long hair in a ponytail as usual. She pack it well, and makes sure the hair looks short before walking to her father's room.
"Good morning father. "She said as she entered her father's room.
"Morning, princess, how are you doing?" Delton Bryan, her father asked with a sad smile.
"I am very cool, father! how are you feeling?" She asked, caressing her father's cheeks.
"I am so sorry, Diana, I'm sorry that I can not protect you from Celine and her daughter's bully, I heard your screaming last night, Diana, I hate myself from been a bad father, I can't even protect myself, I ----- ------- ---" He was saying was interrupted by Diana before he could finish his word.
"It is okay, father, I know everything will soon be over, don't be sad. "She said whipping her father's tears with her palm.
"Sorry, I did not bring any meal last night. "She added sadly.
CALIFORNIA / GRAYSON'S PENTHOUSE
Gray and Martin were watching a movie in the theatre room.
Martin finished his popcorn and replace his empty bowl with Gray's barely tough popcorn. Gray who focuses on the movie did not notice this until when the movie is getting interested.
Gray tried to take some of his popcorn but his hand landed on Martin's empty bowl.
He look at Martin who pretend to focus on the movie,
he tried to take the popcorn but Martin also tried to take it and run away.
They are both holding the popcorn and not ready to let go of it.
"It is mine, so drop it. "Gray said, as he tried to take it away from him.
"It is mine now, so, back off. "Martin said stubbornly with an evil smirk.
Soon, they both began to struggle with the bowl. They both suddenly dropped the bowl and the popcorn scattered all over the floor.
They look at themself and started glaring at each other, it did not take long before Gray's phone rang out.
He stop glaring at Martin and pick the call and Martin busted into uncontrollable laughter.
# Hello father # Gray said, and Martin stopped laughing and listing to Gray as he spoke to his father.
# How are you doing son? # Replied a cool and calm voice from the other end.
# I'm fine # Gray replied simply.
# Grayson, when are you coming back home? I need you and your people also need you. You can't stay there like that.# 'The voice said calmly.
# I will be back soon. #" Gray replied.
"I am tired of hearing this same word, Grayson!! I need you back home before the end of this month#" The voice said and hung up before Gray could say a word.
"Danm it!!" He curse and fell on the nearest couch.
UNKNOWN'S POINT OF VIEW.
I was in my mini-bar burning in outrage.
I can't believe my men failed to eliminate Gray and his annoying PA (personal assistant).
"Why are you guys so useless like the letter K in knight?" I asked in fury.
"We are so sorry boss, but they overpower us. "One of my useless men said.
"I can't believe you guys are this useless. I gave you a simple job and you couldn't do it properly. "I said and shot them in anger.
"Clear this mess. "I said to my other men before leaving the bar.
