me, lena and alex step into the room. billie is standing by a huge backdrop. she waves us over.
"hi guys! what are your names?" billie asks.
"i'm brynn" i answer, smiling.
"i'm lena," lena says. she pushes her blonde hair over her shoulder.
"and i'm alex." alex says.
"nice to meet you all! brynn, you wanna take a photo?" billie asks. i nod and hand the camera man my phone, then stand next to her. billie smiles and wraps her arm around me, and i feel a hand push something into my back pocket. i smile and the camera man takes a picture. billie hugs me, and whispers "read that when you're alone, but before the concert ends. " i whisper an ok into her ear. "thank you beautiful" she breathes before letting me go. i smile and take my phone back, watching lena get her picture taken. when alex is asked if he wants a photo he says no, but suggests we all get a group photo taken.
we all gather around and smile. the camera man takes a few pictures with a professional camera. "here's a piece of paper, write down your name, phone number and a one so i can have management send you each copies of the group photo. i take a pen, scribbling my phone number and 'brynn, 1' on the paper.
"you guys are free to enter the venue now, billie will be in for soundcheck soon." maggie says. i wave to her and walk into the big room.
