Bidding Nokia goodbye, and sending her on her way - albeit with her not leaving till she got your phone number and other personal contact details - you headed off to a junction where you could cut off the approaching ultimate.
Thankfully, with your Stealth program, and your enhanced abilities, rushing there, and with knowledge of the area, meant that you got there with a good minute to spare.
You situated yourself atop one of the platforms overlooking the pass it was walking down according to your digivice radar and got yourself set up and ready.
And of course, you weren't quite stupid enough to think you could take an ultimate on yourself in a straight up fight....yet. So you loaded your fight happy ultimate's, and by that you meant your giant cyborg dinosaur and army commando werewolf.
So when a badass beastly looking canine digimon swaggered down the pass, you were very happy, both with your vantage point, and with the fact that you had long ago upgraded your Stealth skill to get rid of scents.
A Cerberumon. One of your favourites. Honestly, in another life, you'd definitely raise one of them up, but right now, you have quite a bit of digimon, twelve of them to be exact.
You'll just make it into an egg. Maybe in the future you'll raise him up to be a badass hell doggo once again.
But for now?
"Nuclear Laser!"
"Dark Wolf Claw!"
"Giga Blaster!"
A trio of attacks blew it and most of the area out of existence in a titanic explosion that would easily level a real world block and then some, and left only a massive crater and a sprinkling of black and red data behind.
The rewards you got from scanning it, made it all the worth it. You'd definitely do something with this lovely little doggy in the future, if only to thank it for the sweet ass regeneration it bestowed on you.
You had no idea what a Pusurimon was, but its egg is yours now.

"Giga Destroyer!"
A massive explosion rocked the entrance of Kowloon level 3. What was left of two digimon, a Monochromon and a Black Were Gararumon fighting over a large cache of neutral data that had just appeared, nothing but data in the wind.
Oh, and the massive fuck off crater creating by the gargantuan explosion from Black Metal Greymon X firing his chest missiles.
"Woooh!" The massive black dinosaur cheered, "They didn't stand a chance boss!"
Casually reclining on your massive digimon's shoulder you smirked, "Course not bud," you replied, "You're a beast now, even mega digimon will shit themselves fighting you."
Of course, the Black Were Garurumon would most likely have put up a much bigger fight if it had the chance to respond and Black Metal Greymon X hadn't just appeared out of nowhere when you dropped your Stealth skill.
His eyes positively lit up, you could see that easily since you were right beside them and they were about the same size as you, "Oooh a mega level!" the digimon gasped, "Can we go find one of them to fight boss? Can we? Can we!?" he began to hop up and down on his massive raptor like legs excitedly.
It was a good thing you weren't on the ground, with his immense size he'll be causing an earthquake down below that would be annoying to keep your balance during.
"Maybe, form what I know the digimon that was stolen from Roy was a pretty high tier ultimate, so whoever done it would need decent fire power to keep it contained." you replied.
Roy was the guy who sold you your chrome digizoid. He's a pretty okay guy, and makes a lot of cash in his buisness. Because of that, he usually raises pretty powerful digimon and even sells quite a few that need chrome digizoid to digivolve, and they're usually pretty powerful and worth a ton. Making the Skull Greymon you sold seem like chump change.
He even had a pretty powerful mega on hand, he'd shown it off to ward off other people at the black market. A Hi Andromon, a pretty beast looking digimon all things said and done. And the digimon he was selling was not long away from being a mega level itself.
"Ooh I hope they're really strong boss!" Black Metal Greymon X gushed, "I've not fought anyone strong enough to push me hard since I digivolved."
You were about to encourage your digimon when a really loud notification beeped from your digivice. Bringing it up, your eyes widened. There was a picture in the text at the very top.
'Hayato things have went crazy in the last half hour! A freaking Devidramon showed up in the real world, and tons of people saw it. The scrawny guy Tamashi and his stupid dino thing managed to digvolve and beat it quickly before me and Taomon could get there, but this isn't going away anytime soon. It's only a matter of time before it hits the news stations.'
Shit. This was exactly what you were afraid of happening. How the hell did the suits fail to put down just a champion though in time? Were their systems down or something?
"Buddy, load all that data quickly, we have an emergency and have to get this shit done quickly and get back home." you told the digimon who's shoulder you were riding.
It was a testament to how much your words mattered to your digimon, that he didn't even bother asking what was going on, the massive cyborg dinosaur merely nodded, "Alright boss, gimme a sec!" he replied, spreading his arms wide and drawing the data of the Monochromon, the Black Were Garurumon and the data cache.
..Well, things are bound to get interesting from here on out at the very least.
