Synopsis
Ryder, a young boy, awakens on an unfamiliar street in a strange city, remembering only his name and the haunting echoes of the words: “I’m sorry.” “Survive.” Tragically, his journey takes a dark turn as a bullet pierces his chest in a robbery.
“Don’t worry, Ryder." A mysterious voice, unfamiliar yet comforting, whispers "You can rest now.”
Upon reopening his eyes, he finds himself thrust into a futuristic world of fantasy, presenting new challenges that may unlock the secrets of his true identity.
In the face of a merciless criminal group attacking his school, his powerlessness confronts him. His stepbrother Byakuya steps forward, offering training to help him overcome the formidable obstacles ahead.
But betrayal soon knocks down his world, making him drop to his knees with a bellow of agony piercing the sky.

Write a review
No typing errors, straight to the point fast-paced. When the point of narration is changed to third person it becomes smoother to read. Though there are some things to fix, it's a story worth reading. And yeah, the world-building's thick that I was slightly irritated 😁

The title gave me goosebumps and the synopsis made me anticipate an interesting story. I wasn’t disappointed, and i love the first arc. Can’t wait to see how it ends, and I’m looking forward to Ryder’s growth

It's a good read overall, the characters were well introduced and the development so far is commendable. However, I think the pace was a bit too fast. Though I've only read the first 12 chapters, I think the development from the from the crossover to the magical world was a bit hurried over. Something remarkable about the author is his consistency in updating the chapters daily and still maintaining the readability and coherence of the story.
