Chapter 2: New Beginning
CHAPTER 2
After talking with the system for a while Asher has come to an understanding.
First, he died. Asher let out a depressed sigh. To think that he died at 22 years old. He is worried of his parents but fortunately he has a dependable younger brother. His younger brother could take care of their parents for sure. He is only feel bad for making them sad. He hoped they wouldn't dwell too long on his passing.
He is also worried about Chika. Even if he is fed up with her that girl is still the sister he take care for years. He is worried she would blame herself because he dies on his way to meet her. No matter how selfish the girl, Asher still know that she genuinely care for him.
He also has to let go on his dream of becoming a world renowed pastry chef.
Second, this system will take him to a new world to do good deeds there. Hearing this Asher perked up. If he could live then that is great, maybe he could try become a world renowed pastry chef again.
But he soon deflated. From his conversation with the system he can discern that there would be many good deed task. It looks like he won't have time to be a world renowed pastry chef.
Third, there will be punishment if he failed the task. The worst punishment would lead to death. Asher paled at this. He don't want to die after getting another chance to live. He must work hard.
Fourth, it seems like there will be reward for each successful task. This made him happy. This make him more motivated.
There is also the thing called status. It is to see his spec.

From his stat you can see Asher is a nerd. He wanted to improve his strenght several times but don't have enough willpower.
Exp will increase everytime Asher succesfully finished a task same with GD point. GD is short name for Good Deed point. He could trade GD points for something else with the system.
"There is something I don't understand."

"How am I to live in that world? I mean am I going to appear there out of thin air?"
[Don't worry host. The system have given host a new identity along with a starting gift box.]
Asher nodded. He actually wanted to ask of what is the purpose of doing all this task but held back. He doesn't really care as long as he live again. Death is scary after all.
[If there is nothing else the system will now start the transfer]

The surrounding place suddenly brightened until everything is so white Asher couldn't open his eyes.
Asher opened his eyes. He is sleeping on a small bed in a small room. There is nothing on this room aside from a bed, a carpet, closet, and a kitchen. The kitchen is some distance away from the bed.
There is two doors in this room that he guess lead to the outside and the bathroom.

'This place is too small to be called a house though.. well I don't really mind'
Even though it is small, the place the system provided is clean and tidy.

With a thought Asher opened his status.

When moving his eyes to the item status Asher caught sight of his age status.
"What is the meaning of this system?" He ask bewildered.

Asher do as the system said. With a thought a white box appear in front of him.
Opening the box, the first thing he sees is the stack of many documents. Asher started reading it and understand what the system mean.
Asher's indentity now is as the only child of a young couple that died of a traffic accident three monts ago. There is all kind of documents and certivicates proving his identity.
[The couple doesn't have any relative so the host can focus on the task]
The young couple married for 17 years so it would be weird if Asher's age is 22. The system is quite meticulous.
Asher also preferred it this way. It would be a headache if his new identity has other family member.
After the documents Asher look at the other item in the box. There is a key which he sure is for the house, a book and bank card, a phone, a glasses, and an earring.
[The glasses and earring is a consumable items. Hope the host use it wisely.]
Asher picked up the glasses and a text appeared in front of him.

An evil item. From the description you know this glasses can see past any obstacles. This surely is a useful but terrifying if misused item. Again, an evil item.
Next is the earring. Asher picked up the tear shaped earring.
<Earring to hear her/his heart.
What are they think of you? Are they really love you? The earring will let you hear, what their heart says...>

From the description this earring can let you hear people's thought. This one is also a dangerous item. Nobody want their thought to be exposed after all.
After checking the items and familiarise himself with the house Asher go outside. Just as he took one step out of the house a ringing sound sounded.
