Chapter 30: Becoming the Best

In front of Anuraag stood an imposing wooden door, flanked by two guards. As he approached, he noticed the guards exchange a brief glance before nodding at each other. However, they remained silent, leaving him perplexed.

'What's the meaning of this?' Anuraag wondered, his curiosity piqued by the guards' behavior. He looked around, only to see more players emerging from the forest. The virtual landscape was becoming busier as other adventurers arrived at the gate.

Among the newcomers was a young girl with vibrant green hair, an unmistakable characteristic of the Elf race. She approached Anuraag with a friendly smile, and her eyes gleamed with excitement.

"Are you... from Earth? Player?" she asked him, her voice tinged with curiosity.

"Yes," Anuraag replied, relieved to find someone to talk to in this vast virtual world.

"Oh, this game feels so real and amazing. Did you complete the tutorial quest?" she inquired.
