She just wanted to squeeze the man's neck, but Malacai's words reverberated in her mind.

"Mara, stop, he is still useful, knock him out. Then you can do what you want with the rest of the base."

Mara didn't respond. Clarity returned to her mind as she put her anger under control.

She punched the man in the stomach, making his face turn blue before losing consciousness.

She turned her gaze back toward Rafael on the ground, her mind now a mess. "Malacai, what should I do now?"

'Forget the mission, bring the one with your brother's face and that man back, I will gather information from Fiona and Aine. 

And Mara, remember I am here for you. You are my wife.'

Malacai's words brought calm back to her mind. She then took a deep breath, "Alright, Hubby~."
