Chapter 1: Death and life
Yao Ning was enjoying life to the fullest a college student with poor, abusive parents could. He was currently balancing three jobs while managing a 4.0 GPA in Physics. As he is running from his school, after finishing his third part time job as an Lab Assistant, to his house he swears "The only good thing my parents did for me besides give birth for me was give me decent genetics!" He then makes it to his house, but when he opens his door he is greeted by an crazy ex who is pointing a gun at him.
His ex says shakily "Hey Yao, long time no see! I'm in the need of some money so without minding our... past digressions would you be a friend?"
Yao says as calm as possible "Please, put the gun down you know what my father did, if you do we can talk something out."
His ex yells "No you won't trick me!"
Yao grunts "Fine take my wallet, from my pocket, then we can go separate ways and I can read my book. Just please hurry" while staring at the gun.
His ex slowly approaches him grabs his wallet from his back pocket groping him briefly. Then he pushes Yao down without time to react and says "Pleasure doing business with you, but you can't call the cops!" he then laughs hysterically and shoots Yao in the chest four times.
Yao's vision blurs and he hears a old man's voice saying "What a poor life you've had, may your next one be better. I shall grant you a few blessings so your future will be joyous."
Before having the opportunity to thank the old man Yao loses consciousness once again.
When he wakes up again he is greeted by a woman who must have been their mother saying, while seeming to be crying, "You shall be named Yao Ning ." A mysterious man the appears and tells the woman "Hurry they must go before anyone discovers us." She says "I know just give me a little bit of time." She writes as she says "I am sorry my beautiful child, but it is not safe here I have to hide you away, but you may find me once you become strong, I love you Yao -BD." she puts the note inside a mysterious pendent and puts it on Yao and gives him something else as well. She puts Yao into a basket, which she then hands to the man who was bringing him to supposed safety, a remote village, seeing her children leave she says "Goodbye my loves."
