Chapter 5: Meeting Alzabaz
I'm standing at the threshold of the castle. My body has became numb, my mind has became numb. The only thought running in my mind is 'I'm not an orphan', 'I'm meeting my parents', 'Would they love me?'...but my thoughts were interrupted by Ral who was talking with silver hair guy.
"Let's get inside" Ral said to me.
Nodding I took a step forward crossing the threshold. I don't know why but suddenly there is strange feeling inside me, a feeling of anxious. Soon the voices behind me became silent and everything turn black. My heart skip from fear "RAL!!!!!" "RAL!!!" ..."IS THIS A JOKE...SO, LET ME TELL YOU IT'S NOT FUNNY, RAL!!!!" I screamed in fear. I couldn't hear anything.
"Hiss...s"
I freeze "who's there?" I shouted. Soon I found myself inside a room where everything is white.
"Hiss...." I turn my head towards that sound and scream in fear, losing my footing.
Infornt of me is standing an unusual large cobra that I have ever seen in my life. Well I never seen a snake in my life let alone a cobra.
Cold sweat running from my forehead. Seeing myself on the floor I try to push my hips backward.
"Don't get scared hiss....."
I look around trying to see where the voice is coming from.
"Don't look around I'm standing infront of you Hiss...."
I look at the cobra in bewilder 'What the actual fuck! this cobra actually could talk!' I thought in amaze.
"Tsk tsk hiss...don't curse hiss...." cobra said.
"WHAT!!!, you could hear my thoughts" I asked in shock.
"Yes, I'm your guardian beast.. my name is alzabaz hiss...." Cobra said.
"You are my what?" I exclaim in confusion.
"Guardian beast hiss..." Cobra said.
"I see" I murmur trying to grasp the situation. I look around and found no one except the white walls around me "Where am I ? and where's everyone?...did you kidnapped me here!" I screamed in panic.
"Gezz! Don't scream hiss.... I know you are scared but please trust me I'm your protector your guardian beast hiss. My job is to protect you. We are at the place where no time and space work hiss. Everything outside of this place is freeze right now hiss. I have been waiting for you. The divine has told me you will be arriving today hiss. So, I have been waiting here. I take you here because it's time hiss..." alzabaz said.
"Can you not use hiss at every sentence" I asked.
"Sorry can't do .... hiss..." alzabaz said rolling his eyes.
'Did he just roll his eyes!' I thought...looking around its look like I'm inside a box. He said he is my guardian beast and has the power to control space and time.
"Only for few minutes ...after all I'm the only slither with that power hiss" alzabaz said in arrogance.
"Can't you not read my mind! it's annoying and creepy at same time" I said while glaring at him.
"Opps sorry hiss...." alzabaz said in his not so sorry voice.
I rolled my eyes at him 'he is annoying'. Alzabaz snicker as if he again read my mind, I look at him "You said it's time.... time for what?"
"It's time to get your memory back, it's been 18 years now. We need you now. The war is going to break soon. And the problem is we don't know who we will be fighting." Alzabaz said.
"War?....but if you don't know who you gonna fight then how do you know your enemy?" I asked him.
"The divine had warn us, and we are getting attacked for past few years. The divine has told us only the guardian of slither stone could only protect us hiss....." Alzabaz said.
"But what it has to do with me? why did you took me here. Just what the hell is happening with me?" I said in frustration.
"You are the guardian of slither stone. And I'm your servant at your service to protect you so, you could protect our clan hiss....." Alzabaz said.
"This not making any sense. You get me out of here right now!" I said sternly.
"I'm sorry hiss... but I have to do this hisss....." Alzabaz said looking at me.
"Wha-" but before I could say anything he bite my right hand.
"I'm sorry hiss...."
"Now you will remember your past hiss...."
"You will get all your answers hiss..."
Soon my vision blackout and I fell into a deep sleep. Soon a series of images filled my mind.
"Sierra" I hear him in my dreams.
