Chapter 8: Chapter 8 Kai vs Kurullin
"Battle 5 begins." With the announcement, the battle between Kai and Kurullin has officially begun.
"Haahhhhhh." Kurullin dashed towards kai as he goes in for the first hit.
Kai barely Dodge the attack as he was taken by surprise by how fast kurullin is.
Nonetheless, the punch which didn't even land leave a cut on Kai's face.
"Torraaaa." Kurullin follows it up with a fury of kicks.
Kai caught his legs and flipped them overhead causing Kurullin to backflip forcefully to prevent any major damage to his body.
"You are good." Kai complimented kurullin.
[Of course, he is. He is after all the strongest human in the world in future.]
"Future. Huh?" Kai said with a smirk on his face.
"Haaa." Kai then launched an air fist towards Kurullin's gut.
Making him cough up blood.
"...."
[Your strength currently exceeds 1000. You should be careful. Otherwise, you might permanently injure him to the point of no hope for martial arts.]
[But who the heck cares? Just kill him or finish him quickly.]
"Right," Kai said as he kicked Kurullin launching him away into the air.
"Gahhh." Kurullin was luckily able to prevent a ring out because by a few inches as he fell back to the ground.
"Kurullin," Goku yelled out in worry.
"Oh no." Bulma cannot believe the cruelty that she is seeing in front of her eyes.
"That bastard," Yamcha said as he clenched his fist.
"Hey, aren't you mad? Your student is getting beat up mercilessly." Oolong asked master roshi who seems to be fine with this development.
"That boy is just trying to win the match and he isn't trying to kill him. This is the learning experience that he needs to experience. If something goes wrong I can ask my old master for help." Master roshi replied.
"Old master. Your master is still alive." Oolong asked in surprise.
Master roshi was right Kai was not just beating up Kurullin for no reason.
They were in a tournament, after all, it's just that Bulma, Yamcha and oolong were not used to seeing a person they know getting one sidely beaten up.
He is clearly stronger than me if I fight him head on I am going to lose. Kurullin thought in his mind.
"If things have gone this far here," Kurullin said as he throws something on the ground.
"Contestant Kurullin weapons are forbidden. If you use a weapon you will be disqualified." The announcer yelled out.
"What are these?" Kai asked as he looked at a pink piece of clothing in front of him.
"No way. My panties distraction didn't work?" Kurullin said in shock as Master roshi hopped onto the stage and grabbed the panties and got off.
"What was that about?" While kai was distracted by master roshi's antics Kurullin started to dash toward Kai in his final assault.
"What are you expecting? To get a cheap shot." Kurullin heard that line from Kai before he got knocked out and lost consciousness.
"That guy is unbelievably strong. I am getting more excited to fight him." Goku said.
"He seems to be even stronger than the time he fought with me." Master roshi said.
"Wait you knew him?" Bulma asked but master roshi didn't answer back as he still didn't want to acknowledge that he is Jackie Chun's disguise lost to that boy a few minutes ago.
Of course, he knew that if they fought seriously on even ground he would have won but even if he got caught off guard he didn't want to admit his loss.
"....." Yamcha was looking at the stage with doubt as he stared intensely at Kai.
"Yamcha sama," Paur called him out but he didn't reply.
"8...9.....and"
"And a ten," Kai said as he walked down the stage where he sees goku warming up for his match next.
"See you in the finals," Goku said as he goes up the stage followed by Nam who seems to be deadly serious.
[That was a wonderful sight. Coughing up blood. Cheap shots. And my personal favourite beating a child up. Too bad you are too strong for him to do anything to you.]
"You are seriously messed up," Kai said to the system.
"You why did you cheat during your fight with Jackie Chun?" Then he heard a voice from behind.
"Who are you?" Kai said as he frowned at the man who question him.
It was Yamcha. The Friend of goku and the one who got eliminated by him in the preliminary.
"Answer me," Yamcha asked.
[It seems that he saw you use that device during your fight with Master roshi.]
"So what if I cheat?" Kai asked him.
"You are already eliminated what purpose do you have in confronting me head-on?" kai asked.
"You bastard. I am going to beat you up for tainting the world of martial arts." Yamcha said as he took his martial arts pose.
[ You are lucky. If he reported to the tournament authority instead of confronting the head you might be in trouble.]
[But now.]
"I can just beat him up."

Both kai and the system came in agreement as kai started to crack his hands.

At that time.
"Sir we have finally found the location of the Tao." A man in soldier attire said to a red-haired man with a black eyepatch on his face.
"Excellent. If we can get his help we can finally start our operations without that pesky King of the dogs interfering. Contact blue, Yellow, White and Purple." the red hair man said.
"King of dogs?" The soldier asked.
"He means the King of the world? You idiot." Another soldier who was accompanying him said as he slapped his head in the back.
"Enough with the slapstick. We have to get those magical orbs at all costs. Only then we. No, I can fulfil my dream." the red hair man said to the soldiers.
The redhair man was accompanied by a group of arms soldiers surrounded near him in the middle of the place what appears to be a military base.
Filled with jets, Tanks and anti-air missiles.
The man was the commander red of the red ribbon army. The biggest, No, the strongest military in the world.
