Chapter 192: Chapter 192: Confession, Chris! (Edited)

Tom admitted that he had been a bit impulsive.

The original plan was to take control of Chris, review his memory, find the incriminating evidence and make it public.

The first step was well done, but the second went a little awry: Tom broke down while reviewing Chris's memories and couldn't help but emasculate him.

Tom knew that British society was perverse, with less than one percent of the population in the form of royalty, nobility and merchants occupying far more wealth than other citizens, but what Chris had done was still unacceptable to him.

Chris, as a male, took up too much of the resources of the opposite sex and the same sex.

As it were, Tom could go to buy a coffee and find seven girls, mostly under the age of fourteen, who had been fucked by Chris.

Tom's attitude to this root of evil is to excise the root.

The pain was so intense that Chris broke free of Tom's spell and let out a howl like a dying wild dog. I must say that his hotel was so well soundproofed, his agent and bodyguard were not attracted to the sound of his screams.

Tom looked down at the blood-soaked sheets and reassured himself, "Well, I was a bit reckless.

It's easy to dig a hole, but hard to plant a tree. For Muggles, big or small, it was hard to get back up, but wizards had magic for that kind of injury.

But Tom didn't bother to use the spell on him. First he poured a few drops of a potion on Chris's wound to stop the gushing blood, then he pulled out his wand and wiped the blood off the bed.

The potion was a potent healer and heals physical wounds immediately. The smoke cleared and Chris's bleeding had stopped and the wound had recovered nicely, with a new layer of skin covering the exposed flesh, something not even the best surgeons in England could achieve.

As the wound healed, Chris stopped screaming and fell backwards onto the bed, gasping for breath. His screams seem to have alerted the unconscious girl next to him, but she didn't wake up, just mumbled a few words and went back to sleep.

Tom sat down next to Chris and pulled out the Veritaserum.

"Did the prince send you?" asked Chris weakly as he lay back on the bed, as if resigned to his fate.

"The Prince?" Tom had a vague feeling that he had found great news.

"Aren't you one of the Prince's men?" Chris looked as if he had suddenly been given a cocktail. He had thought that the man had been sent by His Royal Highness to silence him, because Tom, like the man he had seen that day, had a small wooden staff in his hand with which he could do all sorts of magic tricks.

To be fair, Chris was a handsome, elegant and graceful man, so he was taken in by a royal prince, with whom he had had an affair. But on coming into contact with him, Chris discovered some of the prince's secrets: he had been dealing with strange people.

Most of them wore robes, carried a small wooden staff in their hand and could do a lot of magical things. Chris had seen people able to make a bottle of wine fill a glass automatically, and he had seen people able to make a fire turn green and make people disappear when they stepped on it, without getting burned....

If it was the Prince's men who wanted to kill him, he had no chance of survival. But this young man in front of me doesn't seem to be one of the Prince's men! Then there was a chance for him.

He began to ramble on about his worthiness, assuring Tom of the endless benefits he would receive if he cooperated with him.

"You can have everything in the world!" Chris smiled flatteringly.

"Remember the Grossman mother and daughter?"

"Who?!" Chris froze, and from the look on his face, Tom could see that he really had forgotten.

Tom sighed, he didn't think Chris remembered Peggy and the girls' names.

As for his reference to the Prince, Tom didn't find it surprising. The Ministry had always been connected to the upper echelons of England, and it was not uncommon for certain wizarding families to be secretly related to the English nobility. In the Middle Ages, this was very common and normal. A large number of witches served under Muggle monarchs.

A glimpse of this can be seen at the anniversary dinner hosted by Nick Nearly Decapitated: almost all of Nick's friends received the title of Lord and Knight, how did they get these titles? They can't all be family heirlooms, can they?

Devotees of the pure-blood theory, the wealthy and influential Malfoy family has historically been linked to the Muggle noble class, such as William the Conqueror and Queen Elizabeth I. They valued the worth of pure blood and believed strongly in the superiority of wizards over Muggles, but maintained a strict distinction between commoners and Muggle nobles.

This was only curbed with the enactment of the Law of Secrecy of the International Federation of Wizards, but it still exists in secret and is difficult to stop.

Tom silently set up a video camera and then poured Veritaserum on Chris.

"Confess, Chris."

Next, in front of the camera, Chris truthfully recounted his crime.

"Aren't you afraid of being punished for such a crime?" Although he had seen it several times and was well prepared, Chris' confession still challenged Tom's perceptions.

"No. I won't be punished." Chris answered truthfully, as the effects of the truth serum would not wear off.

Tom finished the video right away, looking at the tape in his hands. He sighed again, what could he do to Chris? Even if he made Chris's crimes public, he would not give him the punishment he deserved: the death penalty was now de facto abolished in Britain!

In 1965 there was a moratorium on executions. The last execution in the UK took place in 1964, when Voldemort was still active! In 1999, the UK would ratify Protocol 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights and Protocol 2 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which marked the total abolition of the death penalty in international treaty form.

What is the punishment for a man like Chris if he cannot be killed? And chances are, if he goes to prison, he won't be treated the way prisoners are rumored to treat rapists. He will have a single room that is cleaner and more luxurious than 99% of the rooms in the world, he will be able to read the newspaper every day, he will probably go out every day, and he will eat more than most white collar workers.

As long as you keep your mouth shut and don't leave it as loose as the back door, your chances of survival aren't bad.

But what about the girls?

He put the tape away.

"Fess up, Chris." He raised his wand-

"Diffindo!"

"Repair!"

The wand spat spells again and again, leaving horrible wounds and scars on Chris's body.

Tom's Reparo Charm did nothing to heal Chris's wounds. In fact, the restoration spell can only be used on inanimate objects. The use on animate objects is totally forbidden. Attempting to use a restoration spell on a human or animal wound can result in severe scarring. It is tantamount to another type of torture.

If you really want to heal a human wound, you have to use other healing spells.

But this spell was perfect for this situation.

After a while, Chris was lying on the hotel floor like a skinned rabbit, all red and swollen.

Tom opened the door to the suite, and the sudden opening of the door attracted the attention of the agents, assistants and bodyguards outside. They were surprised to see a strange boy emerge from their boss's room. Even more disconcerting was the fact that the boy was holding a small wooden stick.

Before they could react, ropes suddenly emerged from the stick and bound them, preventing them from moving.

Then one of the boy's eyes became the pupil of a yellow snake and, as soon as they saw it, they could not move as if they were being watched by a predator.

...

Tom wiped the blood out of the corner of his eye. Tonight, he had been overloading his mind with mind altering powers, so to speak, and this had temporarily blinded his right eye.

He used his left eye to look at the group of people in the room.

Tom had only one thing to say about them: they were insects!

This group of insects were all people who deserved to die.

What Chris had done, how could it be personal? His team was guilty too.

Tom looked around the room, the luxury suite was lit up and everyone except Tom was tied up, facing him in a semicircle, shivering.

Although the man in front of them looked like a child and was not very tall, they trembled at the sight of him, like wild animals at the sight of their natural enemies.

Anger burned in Tom's gut.

"You, each and every one of you, are implicated, so..." Tom's voice went cold, his wand pierced the air again and again....

Tom sent several copies of the tape to the media, not only to the British, but also to the French, who would have been delighted to release it to the world at large.

That done, he dragged his tired body back to Hogwarts.

The sun rose as usual.

Despite a night of bickering in the common room and in the dormitory, the young wizards hadn't lost any of their enthusiasm, and were still thinking about what had happened the night before.

Of course, one detail was revealed to them: Hermione was able to fight one-on-one with Professor Snape! Although she had been defeated and captured, she had nothing to be ashamed of: she was only a second year!

On second thought, however, the young wizards were relieved that Hermione was able to stand up to Snape, not because she was strong, and certainly not because Professor Snape was weak. Not even the student who hated Snape the most would think the youngest dean in Hogwarts history was a bum. Rather, Hermione won because she was well equipped!

This battle is a pvp between a person paying for equipment and an op-monster.

Some wizards were surprised to find in the replay that, in addition to Professor Lockhart's alchemical puppet, Hermione was using magical items, including: a bracelet that repeatedly releases a Protego Charm, dung bombs, portable bogs, Weasley fireworks....

With so many magical items, it's only natural that he could stand up to Snape for a while.

The young wizards, including Hermione, expected to see Professor Lockhart at breakfast, but he wasn't there. It wasn't that Tom had overslept, but that he had received a special guest.

In the rebuilt Ravenclaw common room, Tom met Helena Ravenclaw, the ghost of Ravenclaw House.

He set before her the blackened and cracked Ravenclaw crown. Ravenclaw relic, this once bejeweled and shining crown had become scrap metal.

Helena Ravenclaw looked at the tiara with an extremely complicated expression.

"Thank you" After a moment of silence, she thanked Tom very seriously.

"It's all fate," she looked a little excited, "A lost crown, returned by the heir to the ring, is also God's will..."

"The ring?" Tom knew she was referring to the Boggart Soul Ring she was holding.

Helena flashed a mysterious smile, but did not answer. She looked at the crown and, after a moment's daze, suddenly said, "It would be a pity if this item were destroyed like this."

He floated over to the Ravenclaw statue.

The fire had destroyed almost all the decorations in the common room, except for this statue, which was still intact. The statue of Rowena Ravenclaw had a beautiful face, but she looked so stern that she seemed to him to be standing in front of Professor McGonagall. Her hair is long, her eyes look straight ahead and the entire common room seems to be in her sight.

"I've been avoiding the question, why do I stay in this castle?" Helena muttered, looking at the statue of her mother, "maybe because she's here."

"I can't believe that even the mighty and omnipotent Four Founders could die..." Helena was a little saddened to see that her mother, uncle and aunt, who were more powerful than her, had left this world and yet she was still here. It was amazing that she could still "live".

Perhaps because they were the Four Founders they had said goodbye to the world forever. For them, it was very easy to survive in this world. The easiest thing was to become a Horcrux.

But they did not choose that path.

"The crown." Helena gestured for Tom to bring the crown closer to the statue of his mother.

Helena, the crown, and the Ravenclaw statue appeared together, the three forming a triangle. The Ravenclaw statue changed slightly: what had been a dead object came to life.

Helena shot a look of recognition.

At that moment, the stone crown crowning the statue's head shattered, creating a spark of starlight that mingled with the remains of the crown in Tom's hand. The starlight gradually mended the cracks in the crown, while erasing the scorch marks.

Finally, a shiny new crown appeared on Tom's hand.
