Chapter 34: Chapter 33: Fight!
As soon as Kuroka gave the signal, Izumi and Vali jumped into action.
Izumi applied (Reinforcement) on his body and used (Mana Burst) to instantly appear in front of Vali before giving a low kick on his shins. Izumi decided to use as many martial arts as possible, in the beginning, to see how he fairs against his opponent while not relying too much on his spells or Dark Matter. He also wanted to see what would happen if Vali touched him. With quick reflexes, Vali jumped into the air to avoid it.
"Oh? You're quite fast for a human. But that won't be enough!" the Devil said before launching a mana blast towards Izumi. The latter sidestepped avoiding the blast and shot a (Mana Bullet) of his own. Vali simply held out his hand towards the blast. A barrier made of Demonic Power appeared in front of him blocking the (Mana Bullet). The latter then counter-attacked by flying back towards Izumi with his arm outstretched with a fist. Izumi held out his hand and created a barrier out of mana.
*BANG!*
The first and the shield collided resounding throughout the battleground. Izumi's feet dug into the ground due to the force of Vali's punch.
'Shit, as expected of the White Dragon Emperor. He's really strong!' thought Izumi as he gritted his teeth as he held his mana shield. At that moment, he heard a loud voice.
[Divide]
Suddenly, his shield broke due to the mana disappearing from it. More like it was halved.
"Shit!" cursed Izumi before leaping back to avoid the incoming punch.
*BOOM*
A crater was formed where Vali's punch landed. The wings behind him glowed blue with the mana it had absorbed from Izumi. Once the dust cleared, the two fighters were apart waiting for the other to make a move. Ever since he entered the supernatural world, it was Izumi's first time to fight against someone who had experience in battle. Saiki didn't count since no one ever fought him and he was also overpowered.
Izumi decided to create another partition in his mind with (Memory Partition) and then accelerated the latter with (Thought Acceleration) with a ratio of 1 second to 500 seconds. At that moment, Vali decided to launch his attack. Time seemed to slow down as Izumi's perception accelerated due to the spell. Without a beat, he cast a third spell, (Structural Analysis), and targeted the wings behind Vali. The spell successfully hit the Sacred Gear and its information started appearing inside Izumi.
The Sacred Gear's name was Divine Dividing and it was also known as the White Dragon Emperor Light Wings. It was created by the Biblical God to seal Albion after his and his rival, the Welsh Dragon, Draig, battle caused too much damage to the Three Factions of the Bible during the Great War. Its main ability is to halve anything he wishes as long he is strong enough every 10 seconds.
"So that's Divine Dividing's ability to halve anything every ten seconds. What a dangerous ability. I better not get close therefore I have to give up on experimenting with martial arts." said Izumi with a wary smile.
Vali, who was about to attack, let out a smirk.
'So you know, what are you going to do about it?"
"This!" Izumi shouted and, right where Vali was about to pass, an earth spike shot up from the ground towards Vali. The spike was not sharp as it was simply meant to give a blunt force at Vali, but the latter once again dodge the incoming spike by doing a barrel roll. He then landed on the ground and continued to approach Izumi. Vali rose an eyebrow after he dodged the spike
"You can use Earth Magic? What else can you do?"
"Why don't you find out?" replied Izumi.
"Gladly" answered back Vali as he showed a massive grin.
On the side, Bikou let out a long whistle.
"That human is keeping up with Vali. And there is not a lot that can keep up with him," he said
"Enigma-sama's use of magic is very peculiar," said Le Fay as she observed the fight.
"What do you mean?" asked Arthur as he turn his gaze away from the fight to look at his little sister.
"Usually, when you use magic, you are supposed to generate a magic circle. The circle represents the calculation you used to enact the magic desired. It is also a focus for magicians, especially for human magic since we don't have Demonic Power. But look at him, there is no magic circle." Le Fay said as she pointed at the spike the Izumi created.
"A sacred gear maybe?" asked Bikou.
"No, it's definitely magic," she replied.
Kuroda was quiet as she observed the fight. What she didn't say during her observation of Izumi was that his Ki was very peculiar. It was like his Ki was transforming into mana and she never saw that with anyone else. Not even Le Fay. Usually, humans had a separate container of mana like the dantian in those cultivation novels. They could increase the capacity of the said container through training. Looking. at Enigma, every time he used his magic, his Ki diminished and it was converted into mana. She just didn't know how it was converted.
As she observed the fight, she also noticed Enigma had a ridiculously large amount of Ki even by supernatural standard and the Ki converted into Mana for his spell was very efficient. In fact, if he continued to train, he may even be able to unlock his touki. She frowned as she continued to observe the fight thinking about the implication.
Back to the fight, Izumi continued to dodge the incoming physical attacks from Vali. An idea then struck him. Vali attempted to perform a right kick in the air aiming for his head, dodging narrowly, he ducked under his legs. The latter seeing that, attempted to bring his other leg in for a kick while Izumi was crouched. It would've connected if Izumi didn't anticipate that. Bringing his right hand, he parried the kick and with his right hand and he charged his left hand with mana
He then struck a palm on Vali's stomach and used (Mana Burst) for extra effect.
"HA!" shouted Izumi when he shot his palm.
Vali's eyes bugged out as he couldn't use his Sacred Gear's ability fast enough. He then shot back explosively before colliding with the floor and skidding a good distance raising a cloud of dust and a trail on the earth on his way.
"Damn. That was one hell of a hit." cursed out Bikou seeing the palm strike Izumi landed on Vali.
The dust cleared and Vali got up with the clothes on his stomach area destroyed. He used his magic to replace them. He patted himself to get rid of the dust and spoke.
"You really are strong. You're one of the strongest humans I have faced." He said with a hint of respect, but then he frowned, "But you are hiding your real strength aren't you?"
Izumi sighed,
"Yeah, you're right. You're going to have to force me to reveal more of my strength. Can you do that?" he taunted him.
"Gladly," Vali replied and shot towards Izumi with a greater speed than before.
Izumi's eyes widened when he saw the speed the White Dragon Emperor had as he shot towards him. Deploying his wings, he flapped his wings just in time to dodge the much aiming for his chest. Unfortunately, the latter must have anticipated it as he quickly corrected his position and caught Izumi's leg before he flew away.
"You're not going anywhere!" Vali shouted before bringing Izumi down to the ground with a huge explosion.
*BOOM*
A loud cloud of dust exploded from the ground as a crater was formed from Izumi's brutal descent. His breath hitched when he felt the sudden impact of the ground on his back. Luckily, he had (Reinforcement) and his armour to absorb the impact so he didn't have any injuries.
'Ah, Fuck! That hurt. Alright, let's not hold back on magic anymore.' thought Izumi as he quickly got up from the ground and dodged another mana blast from his opponent.
Through the battle, he had another mind partition assigned to analyze the way Vali fought and arrived at a conclusion.
'He's strong, but he can't use his (Divide) continuously and he has to be conscious of whatever he wants to divide. That means attacks that he doesn't anticipate works on him. I shouldn't disregard that he's also a Devil which means he has Demonic Power. On top of that, he's the descendant of the original Lucifer.' thought Izumi after analyzing his opponent.
'Wait, That's it! let's try it.'
He created another mind partition and let it focus on a single spell.
[Judging the concept of creation]
A block of mana appeared within his Reality Marble.
[Hypothesizing the basic structure]
The shape of the block changed according to his wish.

Component of different materials appeared all over the shape.

'What?!' shouted Izumi in his mind.
'This has never happened before.'
He continued to fight against his opponent while his partition tried to figure out what went wrong.
"Why do you look so distracted? Don't let your guard down, otherwise, I might do something you won't come back from," said Vali as he shot a huge mana blast towards Izumi.
Seeing that, Izumi triple-layered a mana shield in front of him. The Mana blast shattered the first two and cracked the last one, but Izumi successfully blocked the attack.
'Why didn't work?'

'Of course,' deadpanned Izumi, 'How obvious. The soul falls into the category of the Sacred Gear, Sephiroth Graal, or the Third True Magic, Heaven's Feel. The ability to divide comes from Albion and not the Sacred Gear itself. So what do I do? ' he thought.
As they continued to fight, punches and kicks were traded with some magic in between, Vali suddenly said
"It's starting to get boring, why don't we take it up a notch shall we?"
He, suddenly, jumped backwards away from Izumi before saying,
"Balance Breaker!"

"Wait! He made Vali pull out his Balance Breaker!" shouted Bikou.
"Maybe Vali saw something," added Arthur.
A flash of light surrounded and Izumi narrowed his eyes. Once the light show faded away, where once stood Vali now stood an armour with draconic design. The armour was huge with various blue gems embedded in it with the largest one being in its chest. The wings also doubled in size and the armour was spotted with a long draconic tail.
"This, Enigma, is my Sacred Gear's Balance Breaker! Are you ready?"
"Come at me!" replied Izumi as he let out a smirk.
To be honest, Izumi was also starting to enjoy the battle. Up until now, he never let himself enjoy a battle except for the one time with Saiki. All the other times were either against Stray Devils or against Outer Gods servants or fragments, Now, he could fight against someone who knows how to fight. It would also enable him to learn how to fight against another fighter. He also used this opportunity to practice his Observation Haki.
Vali rose an arm and shot a giant blue mana bullet towards Izumi once more. Unlike before, this one was the largest one yet. Izumi responded by shooting two large mana bullets consecutively. The first one would explode the incoming attack whilst the second, which was larger than the first one, would go through the explosion from the colliding attacks taking advantage of the smokescreen. Disregarding the smoke-screen, Vali blocked the mana bullet with his hand and unleashed his ability.

After four [Divide], the mana bullet sputtered out of existence. It finally gave Izumi an idea.
"That was your strongest attack so far. Is that it?" Vali asked sounding disappointed.
"Far from it!"
'I have to make him use it again.'
Izumi took flight and rose his hands in the air and scorching fire began to form above it.
"Fire magic?" asked Vali.
"Watch out Vali. Stop that attack before he launches it because I don't think Divide will take care of all of that" said Albion.
The scorching ball of fire began to expand in the sky above Izumi making it look like the sun was descending on Earth.
"Oi! Oi! Oi! Oi! Is he trying to kill him?" Bikou exclaimed.
"Are you ready Vali?" called out Izumi with the expanding ball of the inferno.
Vali didn't waste a single second and flew at top speed towards Izumi trying to stop his attack before the latter launches it.
Izumi, seeing the approaching opponent, lowered his arms and the mini sun descended towards him. Vali's eyes widened when the giant ball of fire approached him.
"Dodge Vali!" shouted Albion.
"No! I can do it! I am the White Dragon Emperor and the wielder of the Sacred Gear Divine Dividing. Fire should not hurt me!" shouted back Vali. As soon as the fireball collided with his outstretched hand, he used the Sacred Gear's ability.

At every [Divide], Everyone could see the ball of fire shrinking at a visible rate, but it was still large. Suddenly, the ball of fire disappeared and Izumi suddenly appeared in front of Vali with a huge grin before punching him into the ground. The White Dragon Emperor could not react in time and was shot towards the ground. Izumi, without missing a single beat, followed him and put a hand on his opponent and uttered a single word that shocked everyone present,
"Divide."
