Leah walked up the stairs on her own, her mind in a haze.

What was happening?

What was the handsome stranger from before doing here?

There was no way he was the young heiress' brother.

She watched the older man she had been introduced to as Clara Kane's grandfather and the chairman of the entire Kane enterprises, laugh with the tall, stunning person who had rescued her just moments before.

He was striking.

Had she noticed that large time?

And had such a raw, imposing aura about him.

Leah bit her lip.

He was not at all the kind of man she fell for.

This gorgeous, powerful man seemed… dangerous.
